Never ever have I had as good a bologna and cheese sandwich as I can get at tips smoke wagon, and a pulled pork is really good also.

Our favorite of the Q places we visited while in NWA recently. Overall, very good. It would be in…read morethe top 30% in places like KC or TX (and in the rest of the South--NC, SC, AL, GA). But it doesn't hit the top 10% in any of those. Still, VERY good and enjoyable. I'd give 4 1/2 stars if Yelp had that option. Beautiful, just right tenderness and flavor, brisket (bark the tiniest bit light). Absolutely stunning and delicious chiccharrones (still crackling as they arrived). Pork belly and brisket burnt ends were also delicious. Pulled pork nachos were good, but better with a bit of the Carolina mustard-based sauce. Collards were great after a hit of the hot vinegar (they should add a bit of vinegar when they make them). Street corn was very good. Smoked beans a bit disappointing--okay, but they need a bit more flavor depth and smoke. Nice sauce selection. Pleasant and comfortable space (but relatively small). We will definitely return. In fact, we had an additional order delivered from here on a Friday when the line was long out the door. This joint tops the others we tried in the area (yes, that includes the much vaunted Wright's). We will try some of the other smaller spots on our next visit. But right now, this is number one in the NWA Q scene in our (deep Q experience around the world) book.

Outstanding BBQ Flavor…read more My husband and I stopped in and the service was quick, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the bbq is outstanding. We ordered the brisket and pulled pork w/ white cheddar Mac and baked beans. Seriously superb and tasteful! My husband boasts about there being two different flavorings to the brisket vs the pulled pork. I have never been to a bbq restaurant and wanted to bring home the house sauce more than here. The house BBQ sauce is delicious, and luckily they do sell it for those like me, needing this flavor at home!

Legit Texas BBQ in Eureka Springs!…read more On a recent trip to Eureka, the kids and I were very unimpressed with service and how unfriendly people were. Sauced was one of two exceptions. The person behind teh counter said she was from Texas so maybe that had something to do with it. Sauced is worth a stop. We ordered a bunch of brisket, hand cut fries, and mac n cheese. The fries were excellent. It is hard to beat a perfectly cooked hand cut fry and these were amazing. The mac n cheese was also dang good. It was cheesy as could be and a great addition. The brisket? Well for starters, I wasn't expecting much. I didn't think Arkansas was known for brisket but I figured what the hell. This was some very good brisket. I would venture a guess that it is the best brisket in Eureka and unless there are some real Texas BBQ joints there, one of the best in all of Arkansas. Have I had better? Yes, in Houston or Dallas, but those are the BBQ meccas. This was solid Texas brisket and blew me away for Arkansas BBQ. If you find yourself in Eureka and love BBQ, get yourself to Sauced soon. My mouth is watering thinking about it.

My daughter and I were in the area visiting and read several positive reviews so we decided to give…read moreit a try. When we first pulled up the place looked like it might have been closed, but it wasn't. We were just there at an unpopular time of day. It was around 2:45pm so after lunch and too early for dinner, but we were hungry. When we walked in, we were promptly greeted by a very kind and informative gentleman. We told him we had never been there before and he informed us that because it's a bbq place, they sell out very early. It was also St Patrick's Day and he told us even those specials were all sold out. He proceeded to tell us what they had left and made recommendations for us based on what was available. We ended up ordering the smoked turkey, burnt ends, potato salad and the bbq beans. The sauces we tried were a mustard based bbq sauce and their traditional house bbq sauce. We took a seat at a table while we waited for our food. It's a seat yourself dining room. Our only complaint about the dining room was the lighting and temperature. It was too dark inside and the temperature was too cold, but it was also very cold outside. Our food was brought out pretty quickly and everything was worth the wait! The turkey was so moist and tender and the burnt ends were charred just right. The potato salad and beans were both large enough to share. The potato salad had an unusual flavor because it was made with pickles which we love so it was different but incredibly delicious at the same time. I was so glad we ordered it. The beans were just okay for me, but my daughter really liked them. Personally, I don't get too excited about beans when there's better options to try. I'd rather put those carbs and calories to better use. LOL The sauces were both good but the mustard one had a very strong mustard flavor so if mustard isn't your thing you're not going to like it. The house sauce is just the right mix or sweet and smoky. As I'm writing this review, I'm craving the potato salad so much and the turkey too. If I'm ever back in the area, I'm definitely stopping there again. Nice staff, great food, and good portions what more to ask for.

So when I say Wright's impressed my tastebuds, I mean it. The moment you walk in, the smell of pit smoke hits you in the best possible way. The menu is hand-written on butcher paper along the wall -- classic old-school BBQ style -- and there's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, which is helpful because this place clearly draws a crowd. When I arrived, brisket had already sold out -- which in BBQ terms usually means you've found the right place. Thankfully, Warren stepped in and turned what could have been a disappointment into a fantastic experience. He took the time to walk me through the menu and recommended a three-meat plate: bacon burnt ends, beef ribs, and smoked turkey. The bacon burnt ends were smoky, sweet, and indulgent in the best way. The beef rib was beautifully cooked with deep flavor and that perfect bark. And the smoked turkey -- often overlooked at BBQ spots -- was incredibly moist and flavorful. The sides here aren't an afterthought either. The deviled egg potato salad had the perfect balance of creamy richness with a bright dill pickle note, and the smoked beans had just the right touch of sweet spice. And then there was the banana pudding -- classic, comforting, and the perfect way to finish the meal. What really elevated the visit, though, was Warren. After the dinner rush slowed down, he took time to walk through the dining room checking on guests. When he learned we were visiting from Kansas City, he stopped by our table and spent a few minutes talking with us. He shared more about how Wright's got its start and how it grew into a James Beard Award-winning spot, and his knowledge and enthusiasm made the experience even better. It's clear he genuinely cares about the guest experience. Brisket may have been sold out this time, but that just means I have a reason to come back. Next time, brisket is first on my list. And trust me -- if this Kansas City girl is impressed, Wright's Barbecue is doing it very right. About the pic: When a BBQ sandwich needs two hands, a stack of napkins, and a cold beer, you know you're in the right place. That was my introduction to the Woo Pig sandwich at Wright's Barbecue -- a delicious, messy stack of smoky goodness that demands a photo before you even attempt the first bite.
