The building is kinda touristy and fun with the coloring and style. I'd love to see them swap out some of the small booths for more tables. They're much easier and more comfortable for larger people like myself to sit in. Now on to the food. Everything except maybe the hotdogs were frozen and just warmed up, but we expected that. The crinkle cut fries were cooked perfectly. They made my husband a cherry Coke and he said it was delicious, addictively so. The owner made it with Coke and maraschino, cherry juice, so I'm sure it' was good. I probably should've had a taste before he finished it. Our hotdogs and burgers were all overcooked quite a bit. The burger had no seasoning that I could taste. The hotdog I ordered had chili, cheese, onions, and jalapeños. They forgot my onions and jalapeños, but brought them after we reminded them. They also forgot my son's cheese on his fries and his side of ranch, but brought them after being reminded. The owner even made a comment when we placed our order that we might have to remind them to bring certain things out. He made it seem like the Cook doesn't remember to read the entire ticket when she's preparing the orders. The owner and his granddaughter, and occasionally the Cook, kept getting into little arguments about where things were and who should be doing what. It was really awkward and noticeable since it was so quiet in the restaurant, even with the music playing in the background, and some of the arguments were directly in front of us. There are definitely still some kinks to be worked out here. All in all, I don't know that we would seek this place out to intentionally eat here, but it's good in a pinch, if you're already in the area.
