    Burger Time!

Drove a little out of my way to visit this little burger joint and was not disappointed. They have friendly staff and a relaxing picnic area where they bring you your food after you order. The food was fantastic and I'll definitely be coming back!

My parents, the kids, and I came for lunch over this past weekend. The food was good. No complaints. The staff was friendly. We sat outside and had a peaceful lunch admiring the scenery. My only concern was having so many great choices on the menu to choose from but due to be out of this our that- we all ended up ordering burgers. No Guacamole Turkey Bacon Club, No Ruben Sandwich, No Jesse James... we understand but still a little disappointed. Also the menu indicates desserts made daily. It doesn't specify weekdays only. That would have been nice to know ahead of time. We took the kids for ice cream elsewhere.

Dbl cheese burger and fries. Outstanding!

Wow! Talk about a Diamond in the Ruff! This little Hole in the wall is just right off the interstate, I've drove by it hundreds of times so I decided to try it out. What a great place, great people and Awesome Burgers! It has very little inside seating but does offer several picnic tables to sit and relax with friends or family while you enjoy your meal. Expect a wait, those special ladies in the tiny kitchen are flipping burgers as fast as they can! All orders served to go and are as fresh and tasty as you'd expect. I'll be back for more asap!

Best burger around, but the small seating area is not very conducive for eating in. If the weather is nice there is an outdoor picnic area.

Definitely make reservations if you have a larger party. Restaurant has a decent bit of bar top seating at an older looking bar. They sat us in a back room at a very nicely presented white table clothed table. We ordered the hot crab dip for an appetizer. It was delicious. 10/10 recommend. For my entree, I ordered the 8 oz filet medium rare with the brown sugar brussel spouts. I almost always have to season my steak, but this was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Carley was our server and she was the perfect mix of being attentive while also not being at our table too often. Next time I am in town, I'll definitely be stopping by for dinner.

But we will definitely make a trip back this way to eat here again. Filet was by far the most fantastic thing. Hands down you should get the filet. Are you a ribeye man? Get the filet. The medallions were good but the filet was superior. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend the sweet corn casserole. It was sweeter than cake, sweeter than icing. This would have been ten star on if they went a more savory route. The twice baked potato was delicious incredible. And surprisingly, the Caesar salad was one of the best we've ever had. And we have traveled a LOT. We really REALLLLLLY enjoyed the beverages from the bar. They were mixed perfectly. The signature old fashioned (BW) is a little n the sweeter side but really full of flavor. It was a nice little dinner!

Thai Time was one of the only places that wasn't fast food that was open around 9 PM. The restaurant is very small and I think most people pick up takeout from the drive-thru (Most Thai places in California are sit-down, so experiencing drive-thru Thai was very novel to me), but we dined in. We ordered a peanut-sauce chicken that came with steamed veggies and rice (Rama chicken), as well as a Singapore-style curry noodle with stir-fried celery, pepper, and carrots (Lion City noodles). They were alright--nothing really to write home about, but something that my body appreciated after days of brisket and burnt ends (lol). The chicken dish would have been extremely bland without the peanut sauce, and the curry vermicelli was on the salty side. For fast food Thai, our dinner wasn't cheap, either. I think we paid around $37-40 (including tip) for two dishes. I'm still giving this place a 4/5 because service was fast and friendly, the food was okay, and I always like to support local Asian businesses.

My friend and I had dinner here while we were staying in Neosho, and we really enjoyed our meal!…read moreThe restaurant (which was a former service station and then a fried-chicken place) is, quite literally, built into the side of a cliff. The entire back wall of the dining room is the cliff face. The front of the room is almost completely all windows, to have a view of the surrounding area. It was built in the (1940s?) and has been well-maintained. The menu is surprisingly eclectic, offering dishes that are obviously local favorites in a casual atmosphere. We shared an order of hand-breaded onion rings (which came as a side for my dinner, but was plentiful enough for two), and they were the BEST onion rings we'd ever tasted! My friend described them as highly addictive, in the nicest possible way. They were light and crispy without being greasy, and the seasoning perfectly complemented the onion itself. My friend preferred ranch dressing for a dipping sauce, but I strongly recommend the Cliff Sauce, which is mildly spicy. I had the meatloaf and green beans, and both were marvelous. The meatloaf was tender and juicy and an ample portion size, and the green beans were prepared with onion and chunks of bacon. Yummy! I paired it with a bottle of Blue Moon beer, which was a great choice. My friend had the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and said it was perfectly prepared and extremely delicious. Our servers were Kenley and Colby, and they were delightful. They helped guide us through the menu and offered recommendations when we had questions about certain items. They were friendly and efficient, and we did not have to wait long at all to order or to receive our food. We did encounter two small issues: we had called the restaurant directly to make a reservation, but when we arrived, they did not have our reservation in the system. Thankfully, there was a table available, and we were able to be seated immediately, even at 7:00 pm on a Friday night. Thank you for that! The second issue, which is completely understandable given the cliff face being part of the building, was that both of us experienced nasal congestion by the end of our meal. (We are both allergic to mold and weren't thinking about the likelihood of mild dampness from the cliff face.) We recommend that anyone with sinus issues pre-medicate with antihistamines or decongestants before arriving at the restaurant. We were fine after taking our over-the-counter meds. We truly enjoyed our time at The Undercliff and will certainly return on our next trip to the area! Again, thank you for a marvelous meal in an extremely unique setting. We appreciate you!

The host and hostess, two teenagers giggling and making nonsensical hand signs at each other, were unhelpful and honestly pretty rude. While we were waiting (in a mostly empty restaurant), a woman came up to buy a gift card for her daughter. The boy couldn't fathom what a gift card was or why someone would want to buy one, nor could the girl standing with him. They eventually had to bring out the manager for this poor woman and she promptly got her gift card and left. When we were seated, I was presently surprised at the service! I didn't expect much based on the hostess stand encounter but our waiter was very enthusiastic and checked on us frequently. Our drinks were always full and we had what we wanted or needed promptly. We tried their appetizer sampler with the new mozzarella sticks and it was a hit! Everything was hot and fresh. I was honestly very impressed with how good the mozz sticks were. The rest of our food followed suit! Chicken strips, pasta, a very well-cooked steak, and all of our sides were excellent. The complimentary bread was hot and fresh as well! Our only complaint about the food is that the lobster was a little fishy-tasting, which is unusual for Outback. I do think the prices could stand to be lower or they could implement some more deals. However, I'm satisfied with what I got, even if it was expensive.

Then I am going to tell you that when I left, I remembered why I haven't been there in a long time. I ordered lobster. You get two lobster tails for $37.79. They were not cleaned very well, and they were cold! The salad was good. My baked potato was cold I sent it back. Second one was cold also. Not happy! I paid $17.98 for two kids chicken tenders meals. The fries were not hot. They looked horrible and the chicken was dry. We ordered a blooming onion, which was greasy! The bread was good. My granddaughter ordered grilled shrimp, which was $27.98. This meal cost me $119.54, including tax. This is ridiculous. I won't be back. Now I see why Texas Roadhouse is running them out of town! Outback at one time, was a great place to eat. What in the world has happened to you? Now I understand why you have no business. Pretty sad! Shape up or ship out!
