Stopped by Elk River Burgers today and was pleasantly surprised. The burger was cooked just right with melted cheddar and crisp lettuce, and the fries were hot, fresh, and cut just the way I like them. You can tell they put care into making it a classic hearty meal. The atmosphere feels small town and welcoming with rocking chairs and flowers outside giving it a real front porch vibe that fits perfectly with the local charm. The tea was nasty and there were ants everywhere on the picnic table. You have to eat outside and the outdoor trash can was completely full which took away from the experience. That was a bomb burger. No frills road side stop which is totally worth visiting. The burger was made fresh and so flavorful. You can't beat the hand cut fries! We will definitely visit again if we're in the area. There aren't many places left where we can get a full meal - burger fries and a drink - for 3 people for under $40 with a tip! Quaint little country burger place. Picnic tables outside and a birdcage... no real bird though! lol. Was curious what the story was. The fries were wonderful fresh cut potatoes and the burger was a classic diner burger. Not much else to it, seemed to be family run, lol I think they were tired of each other and ready for the day to end... not a big deal I've run businesses with family before, I get it! My parents, the kids, and I came for lunch over this past weekend. The food was good. No complaints. The staff was friendly. We sat outside and had a peaceful lunch admiring the scenery. My only concern was having so many great choices on the menu to choose from but due to be out of this our that- we all ended up ordering burgers. No Guacamole Turkey Bacon Club, No Ruben Sandwich, No Jesse James... we understand but still a little disappointed. Also the menu indicates desserts made daily. It doesn't specify weekdays only. Wow! Talk about a Diamond in the Ruff! This little Hole in the wall is just right off the interstate, I've drove by it hundreds of times so I decided to try it out. What a great place, great people and Awesome Burgers! It has very little inside seating but does offer several picnic tables to sit and relax with friends or family while you enjoy your meal. Expect a wait, those special ladies in the tiny kitchen are flipping burgers as fast as they can! All orders served to go and are as fresh and tasty as you'd expect. Best burger around, but the small seating area is not very conducive for eating in. If the weather is nice there is an outdoor picnic area.

This restaurant is poorly kept. Their food is nasty and over priced. They do not listen to their customers. The first time I ordered the guy only heard what he wanted to hear. So, they remade my order. The second time was even worse I told them I was allergic to onions and they still touched them and then made my food to make it. The last and final time I ordered 3 things and asked them to put them in 3 separate containers however, they did not do so. So I asked them to remake it and he handed me my money back and ask me not to come back. Well not a problem they never wear gloves and or wash hands after making each order. Always great service and great food. Perfect for families needing a bite to eat on the way home from the river. You can call and have the order ready when you get there or stay and eat on their outdoor picnic tables. I eat here whenever I can during the summer, it's a must when in Pineville. Basic burger stop. No dining room. No public restroom. Just picnic benches road-side. They also have a little storage shed you can sit inside if weather is inclement. Burgers and fries were good. Kids meals very small, but cook told us that ahead of time. read more
