Being from Hawaii, I was so excited for this place & was disappointed. My mom wanted a poke bowl with no rice and there was hardly anything in there as pictured behind the avocado salad & that was BEFORE even taking a bite. I personally didn't like it at all- anything about it. It was nothing like Hawaii but I can't expect it to be & anyone from Hawaii and who really knows, know that these aren't authentic but nice effort. I think the employee was a bit irritated when I said I didn't want fish eggs because he just threw it on the side but everyone has their preferences, this one just isn't for me at all. read more

What a hidden Poke gem here in Bentonville? We met up for a quick business lunch and it was really good. My coworkers got the Signature bowls where I opted to create my own. They are definitely generous with their scoops. It's a Hawaiian theme poke and seafood is fresh. I had the spicy salmon poke as my meat of choice and yum! Prices are reasonable and parking was easy! Had the Hawiaan Bowl and it was fresh and delicious and for the price you can't beat it. It's very filling. I added salmon and it was so fresh. If you've never tried poke bowl before I would start on this and gradually add other items like seaweed and raw fish. It's delicious! Service was quick and friendly. Wouldn't loved to understand where YW Poke came from its origin story... but aside from that. This was a good experience. read more

Not sure what YW stands for but I'm guessing it's Yowza Wowza. Loved my poke. I ordered the ocean bowl which was divine - tuna, salmon, shrimp, crab, seaweed salad, ginger and special sauces topped with roe and sesame seeds and served over a bed of sushi rice. Yum. Was doing business with another store when I realized I needed to get something to eat. I looked around and saw Yw Poke. I walked in and the store was clean and everything looked fresh. The gentleman behind the counter was kind and friendly when I asked him what was popular he suggested the Ocean Bowl and one other. I got the ocean bowl as I love all seafood. I decided to try YW Poke when I saw a Yelp friend post a review. She raved about it, and it has honestly been on my mind ever since. Before her post, I naively thought a Poke bowl always had raw tuna in it. Once I figured out we were talking about cooked meat, I was in! First let me say the YW Poke space is super cute! It is clean and simple, in a refreshing way. Covid precautions are definitely being followed! All employees were masked and following good practices. Furthermore, YW Poke is spotless! You could eat off of the floor. I ordered a Hawaiian. As my "Poke Master" put all the ingredients together, I couldn't get over how fresh everything looked. They have an amazing selection of toppings/ingredients for the bowls. It was seriously impressive. If you look at any of the pictures posted for YW Poke, you may be wondering if a bowl will be enough for a meal. Let me assure you, it is! The bowls are huge! I should have weighed mine. I was not able to eat the whole bowl. I will (happily) be eating leftovers tomorrow! I am honestly excited to go back and try other bowls. This was my first stop when getting into the area. I have been coming in at least once a week for about 7 months now. The food is always fresh and good. The service is fast and the food is affordable. The only thing I would change is colder drinks. I usually go on the same day so I get the same people working and they are great. Wow, I loved this! I was a bit hesitant because the poke restaurant in Fayetteville is pretty bad, but this was a lovely surprise! I had the build your own poke bowl with white rice, tuna, crab, avocado, seaweed salad, spring onion, OG sauce, sriracha aioli, and sesame seeds. The portion could've been a smidge larger, but the dish was awesome! My mom had one of the signature bowls and hers was much larger and also delicious, I didn't get a picture though. They're back! They're back! They're back! Hey! I'm been having mouthwatering daydreams during Covid about your Ocean Poke bowl! The tuna, the shrimp, the veggies, the seaweed salad - where are you Poke???? Fresh made and so delicious. I converted my husband - he's a fan! I was so happy to see that they opened this week. We had takeout for dinner. I believe they are takeout only right now. Don't let that stop you - Order some to go and have a delicious lunch or dinner this weekend at home - no mask required! I'm a fan! I found YW Poke by fortunate accident on yelp one day. After seeing and reading about their selection of fresh ingredients, I stopped by today and ordered a Hawaiian bowl. The staff was incredibly friendly and they made slight adjustments to my order - I wanted tuna instead of chicken and shrimp. A $10 bowl is a big portion - I'm a quality versus quantity person but this has the best of both. You could probably get two meals out of thisbowl. I will definitely be back and bringing friends and family with me. It's going to be one of my regular lunch spots! read more

Overall food was pretty good. I would say it's a bit better than a Poke Bros chain. Ingredients appear to be fresh, nice selection of vegetables. Sauces lacked a bit of flavor in my opinion but I prefer a spicy bowl. To that end, the spicy tuna was nice but not spicy at all. I've been waiting for this location to open, since we drove past it on J Street, heading to our other fave restaurant, Ramen Nara! I stopped in on Saturday, around 3ish pm after studying the menu my hubby picked up when he was eating with my son at Firehouse Subs nearby, and ordered right away. I don't think folks know it's open yet - so it's not yet crowded, but it will be! I chose the half-half option of brown rice and salad, with 2 scoops of spicy tuna and tofu protein, all the ingredient offerings except pineapple, masago and seaweed salad, then added the Gochujang Korean sauce and sesame seed and crispy onion toppings. It was my first meal of the day, and it tasted AWESOME! I didn't finish it all, because it came in this gigantic bowl and the rice really fills you. I'll be back to try more - like their custom combos where the ingredients are already chosen for you. I told the meal prepper that the last time I had poke was in Oahu, but I totally forget that I enjoyed Ohana Poke in Fayetteville which was excellent! Try them both, then visit Ramen Nara just down the block, South of Walton, on J Street and be as giddy as I am that there are so many more Asian options in Northwest Arkansas. read more

I came back home to visit family in Arkansas for the holidays. I saw that there was a poke place in town and wanted to check it out. Living in the Bay Area and Austin in the past few years, the price for this place is definitely unbeatable. We shared the lobster ravioli and a pecan crusted red snapper (the monkfish was sold out) and both were great. Ravioli was exceptional. Three pieces, shrimp and perfect sauce. Lots of lobster in the filling. The snapper which again was the substitute for the monkfish was light with a more subtle flavor but was served with really good mashed potatoes and broccoli. When you first walk up it feels like you are walking into a fisherman's dock. It is so cool. We decided to sit at the bar since we planned on just getting a couple drinks and a dozen oysters, but we enjoyed it so much we ended up getting another half dozen oysters, a lobster roll and some crab hush puppies. All of the food was amazing. The only thing I wish was different is that the bread was not as crusty, but that is a personal preference because I like the butter to saturate the lobster and the bread. The bread is made in house- which makes mildly forgive the harder crust. ;-) The bartender we had was Chris. He was super attentive to all the other patrons and even tried to adjust the TV to the program some of them were hoping to watch. Our drinks were made with care and were efficiently delivered. We will definitely go back when in town. Fun fact: my boyfriend's sister is a local and goes there every birthday because she loves it so much!
