Java sandwich with no bacon and Cinnamon Roll Latte

I really like it here! They have good coffee and food. Most of all it's very student and work friendly. There are several available tables near outlets for you to get work done.

I wrote my first review on the fourth day Hava Java was in business so I thought I'd update and toss them an extra star. My community really seems to love them. While Starbucks etc. have removed seating and discouraged patrons from lingering, Hava welcomes everyone. I see friends chatting, people working, young and old - you name it. They also have live music and other events. It's an extremely inviting spot. I'm still not crazy about their hot chocolate- lol- but I do speak up in advance and ask them to please add more chocolate to it. A friend of mine bought me a mango smoothie here recently (something I would never order myself) and it was excellent. I think we are lucky to have a Hava Java in this part of town. Call a friend and come hang out.

Amazing place to meet with friends or sit and read. Interior is very spacious and has lots of comfortable seating, including couches and arm chairs. They also have two outdoor seating areas that are covered. I tried the purple rain mocha and a cheese danish and both were delicious!

One of my favorite local coffee shops. You have to try their Java Sandwich, we sub the bacon for turkey and it's perfect! They don't skimp on ingredients so it's very filling. Our favorite barista is Ethan, he is so sweet, always smiling, and very accommodating. He is the main reason we come back honestly. There is also plenty of seating, indoor and outdoor.

    Something for everyone!

So much more than coffee! This is a great place for live music and happy hour in Friday nights, comfy couches inside and a dog friendly patio. Cold beer, charcuterie, and wine.

Had a great iced Americano here. The shop is cute - lots of seating, varied music play list played at a volume that still allowed for conversation. Unfortunately, the windowsills were really dirty and dusty. The first table that I chose was at the window. But when I glanced the sill - which is just above table height- I chose to move. Makes me think that maybe the whole place could use a deep cleaning.

The way I was treated at this place was embarrassing on their behalf. I live for this place because i'm a celiac and they have a whole place separate for us. I've never had a bad experience with cross contamination until today. I had told her when I ordered that I had a allergy and she brushed it off. I figured they get celiacs in here all the time so I didn't worry. Our food came out completely wrong and my friends had the gluten free wings and fries. The fries didn't even have a pick that said gluten free, that was my first weird thought . I waited for her to come back over to explain the situation, she passed us and went to all 3 of her different tables. We watched her proceed to chit chat and make small talk with all these tables. I ask another server to go with pink and blonde hair to go grab my server or a manager. I watched her go talk to my server to be ignored for another five minutes. When I mean she walked right past as I was staring at her to go talk to the other servers at the bar, I was livid. I work at another restaurant, i'm younger but I give great service. My biggest thing is allergies, I always ask. It's crazy to me how I can be so obligated to making sure others don't get sick but a restaurant that specializes in allergies can't. I then asked another server to grab me a manager, our server was sitting at the table right next to us talking to a regular it looked like. Won't even comment on this grown women acting younger than me. This manager comes out first off all looking like he just came from off the line and they didn't even have a dinning manager and comes at us saying " well where's the picks that where in the food? " I told him about the one in the wings and not in the fries, also the wings were switched with flavors. He grabbed the wings away without even taking the fries or my friend's wings with the wrong sauce. He walked away. 15 minutes later another server brings my wings out. Everyone is done eating at this point, I ate a couple and wanted a togo box. My server didn't check on me once during this, nether did a manger. We asked the host for a check and some boxes and she had our server finally come over to us. I went home sick and throwing up because of cross contamination with the fries. If you had tattoos all over your arms, with braids working around 4 on Wednesday, shame on you. Honestly you should be embarrassed how you looked and treated another server girl. I've already contacted the upper management to handle this situation because i'm appalled. The negligence needs to be addressed, because shame on the establishment. I won't be coming back to this hub, the one on baseline and sossaman is amazing. I've never had any issues there, the staff even brought me a little gluten free side on the house. When you realize why you didn't get tipped, that's why. The disrespect was higher than what I could of even gave you. Do better as an establishment because my manager would never let that crap slide.

Didn't ask if we needed anything else. When delivering the bill, she thanked us, hmmm , but didn't seem sincere. She stood there impatiently waiting for us to finish paying the bill on the portable charge card machine looking around and tapping her foot like she was in a hurry. The place wasn't that busy. Anyway, the burger we ordered was very good. The salad was decent. The manager seemed only interested in talking to what seemed to be regulars and the bar staff. He didn't appear to be very engaging. Would I be back? Likely not.

Personally, I don't drink alcohol until the afternoon at the earliest (even if on vacation) so it was kind of wonky when the waiter asked me if I wanted coffee or champagne when I arrived to meet a friend. Im definitely a morning coffee drinker and champagne is for special occasions in my book. With that said, I spotted two guys sitting next to us having beers and Bloody Mary's and it was 9am. To each, their own, however, my stomach lining is too weak for that first thing in the morning. I ordered an eggs Benedict plate and had the Hollandaise on the side. I am pretty particular about sauces so I never want something smothered in something where I will regret it or not even touch it. Just to be safe, I asked for it on the side, just in case I dont like it. Im like that with almost any sauce, including dressings too. Waiter was very friendly and helpful. But, when he came by to tell me the cook had smothered my plate in Hollandaise and would it be ok...I sort of cringed and said that if it was only on it a little bit, I could accept it. Waiter knew that wasn't gonna work so he put another order in. I appreciated that. Shortly after, my plate came out and my friend ordered a Korean BBQ bowl that came out too. He said it was good. Mines was also good, egg looked a little sad but tasted fine. Tater tots were definitely a guilty pleasure for me and very good. Waiter was very nice and offered us the mistake order, which my friend glady took home. This place is fun, has a bar vibe and gives you permission to drink early in the day (if thats your thing, its not mine). There is also happy hour at 7am - 9am. We were able to catch up, talk and took our time with breakfast. While this isnt usually the kind of place I frequent, I did enjoy the experience. I could be convinced to come back as the breakfast was good, service was good too. But, youre not gonna find me pounding down alcohol early in the morning. Its just not my style.

If you establish a presence here, they will take care of you. Consistency is another major selling point. Go here 10 times, and your food is going to be on point about 9.5 of those times. Those are pretty good odds. They have just recently started a soft launch of their fall/winter menu, which means they are experimenting with a few new dishes while bringing back some old favorites. One of those returning favorites is the crispy cauliflower. Last time around, it was fantastic. This time, while still tasty, it had apparently filed a formal complaint against the word **"crispy"** because there was very little evidence to support the claim. Even the bartender agreed with me that it was somewhat misrepresented. **Pro tip:** Get the sauce on the side. It will help preserve what level of crisp that is intended for this dish. Now, let us move on to the **star of the evening.** The new chicken parmigiana! **Holy mother of God. Butter my butt and call me a biscuit.** This may genuinely be one of the most beautiful, perfectly textured, and downright delicious chicken parmigianas I have ever had. The chicken was crisped to absolute perfection, and the way they layered the marinara on top was brilliant. Rather than drowning the chicken in a traditional, liquidy sauce, they used more of a bruschetta-style topping, which gave it texture while somehow allowing the breading to remain gloriously crispy. **Hands down, one of the best chicken parmigianas I have ever had.** Now we just need to pray to whatever culinary deity is responsible for consistency that they can replicate this thing every time, because this one was *ridiculously* good. One final recommendation: **split the dish.** Unless you are the kind of person who considers a family-size portion a light snack, there is plenty of food here for two.

But, my wife had fries that I could steal and I appreciate having a salad option. The little side salad had a nice bitterness complemented by the slight sourness of the dressing. The meat was flavorful and sliced perfectly while the bread was toasty enough to stay together long enough to hold in all that juiciness. Our server was attentive and friendly and I'll happily go back to try some menu staples ... unless the next special demands my attention like that Reuben did.
