Truly unique bakery. Everything is made based off of sourdough techniques. The cinnamon rolls and…read morecroissants are fantastic, but not the usual. Rather than flakey crisp layers that fall apart, they have more of a nice chew that is more intact when you bite it. The flavors are fantastic. The cinnamon role is not the most cinnamon forward but has a nice crystallized sugar crunch and frosting. The crumb cake has a nice thick crumb layer and a shortbread-like base. Everyone is super friendly too. It's a super cute shop with nice seating and some outdoor tables. The baker used to be at the farmers market and then he opened up this shop. It's packed on the weekend but it's a fun atmosphere and feels kind of like the whole town is there. My 6 year old daughter says it all, "I like their food and I like their cinnamon roles and I love how they're very kind."

Love this addition to Madison's eating spots. We especially enjoy the organic menu of sandwiches…read moreand sweets. Their scones are to die for. Their sandwiches were enjoyable - especially the breakfast ones. As you can tell we have been here a few times and each time we enjoy it more. Their sourdough bread is good however the couple of times we have brought it home it didn't taste as fresh as, lets say, Wholefoods. Not sure if they slice it for you but it comes unsliced. Their prices are a bit on the higher end and at the same time you are paying for good ingredients. A great stop for breakfast or lunch - worth the calories. ENJOY!

I've heard good things about SoBol but the ones in Connecticut. I was excited to hear they were in…read moreMadison. It's a drive for me but I had errands to do so I was going to take advantage. We arrive Madison and luckily since it's street parking there was a spot nearby. The store is very clean and organized looking in. They have a gender neutral bathroom. Their menu is very nice. Except the Belgium waffles they aren't homemade they are packaged and warmed up in a toaster. When we were there it seemed the owners were there with no other staff. When we were ordering the one owner wasn't truly familiar with the menu. You could tell he was having a hard time but made it through like a champ. They don't make the smoothies in the front which is fine but I'm one who likes to see the works lol. The smoothies tasted very good, in the app you can't omit ingredients, like for instance I don't care for banana and they had an ube smoothie with banana since I couldn't omit it in the app I just decided to order something else in person. Save myself the I'm sorry we can't customize conversation lol I ordered a coconut puree with pineapple and my daughter ordered a pitaya smoothie. I did order a chocolate chip Belgium waffle but the taste wasn't to my liking. Maybe that's why they add toppings to make it better ...idk Well I can say go when the regular wait staff (if they have any) are there so it's a bit quicker and the smoothies are very good but I'd rethink on the waffle. Other than that Enjoy! Let me know your thoughts are if you try it ! #tastebudadventures #yelpelitesquad
