I'm usually hesitant to order flavored coffee because I find that some shops make them way too artificially sweet. The employee today was so sweet and understood the assignment--she listened to what I wanted and assured me she wouldn't make my drink overpoweringly sweet. I ordered an iced vanilla latte, and it was definitely Islander approved! The coffee had just the right amount of vanilla flavor without being overly sweet, which is exactly what I look for in a flavored latte. My only request for the shop: please replace the fake banana tree in the back with a real Bird of Paradise plant for even better island vibes! It would fit the atmosphere perfectly. Overall, great coffee, great flavor options, and such a lovely experience with the staff. Definitely recommend stopping by!

The presentation was beautiful and looked just as good as the photos. It did take about 15 minutes to come out, and while it was pretty, it was a little lacking in flavor for my taste. I'm still looking forward to coming back to try the coffee. The café itself is adorable, with both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great place to relax and hang out.

With a vibrant interior and welcoming atmosphere, the Twisted Tulip should not be skipped. I came here on a Tuesday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of folks working on laptops. This is the perfect place to curl up with a beverage of choice, little snack, and buckle down to get some work done. Despite the amount of people, the noise volume was moderate. Service was good, but a little brisk. The interior is decorated with various pieces of art and there are dog treats in the front for your pet. The exterior has outdoor seating which is really nice. I got the pistachio macaron which was the perfect texture, but a bit lacking in flavor. I also got the pumpkin marshmallow latter which was surprisingly not that sweet to my relief. It really hit that pumpkin flavor spot. Price point was $10 with $1 tip, pretty standard for this area. In my previous visits, I got the chai latte which I thoroughly enjoyed. This is the perfect hang out spot for group projects or for getting work done. Can't recommend enough.

Fueling Up on Springfield Ave…read more Stopped by Gregorys Coffee - Summit on Springfield Ave in downtown Summit with a friend on a Sunday evening for a quick grab-and-go coffee. We came right before closing, and even while they were winding down, the space felt clean, cozy, and welcoming. I ordered a small vanilla protein cold brew ($8) through the InKind app for easy pickup -- it hit the spot. It wasn't busy when we stopped in, but being right downtown, I can easily see this being a popular stop during peak hours. It's a great place for fueling up before hitting the local shops -- or recharging after. There are tables, chairs, and outlets available if you're planning to stay and get some work done, though we were just grabbing and going. We lucked out with street parking, but I imagine it depends on timing. Friendly staff, smooth ordering, and a cozy vibe. It's on the pricier side, but I'd still come back for another fuel-up.

It has a cute feel and modern and bright aesthetic that a lot of new coffee shops I see popping up have. I went with a Flat White which was warm and soothing. Unfortunately, the espresso was over-extracted making it bitter to taste. Some sugar or a flavor syrup would've helped with that but I didn't anticipate the taste to be as acidic and dry as it was. Might've been an off day but don't think I'd go out of my way to come back here.
