We ate at Hatch's Station a couple of times while visiting Bryce. The good news is that their ribs are meaty and fall off the bone delicious. Also, their sandwiches are great. The Reuben, although not piled a mile high like some NY delis, was as good as anywhere. Fries are really crisp on the outside and pretty much perfect. We were let down some by the steaks which were just OK tasting and a little tough. nothing terrible, but with so much great stuff to choose from, I'd order something else. We stopped there after hiking in Bryce. We choose the restaurant based on Yelp reviews and we were not disappointed. We had t-bone and Rib Eye steaks. Both grilled as requested. Both tender and juicy. With steak you get soup or salad, fried, mashed or baked potatoes, corn and bread roll. All these for 25 USD (tax included).Bread roll is the best I have eaten in US. Also you get a bottle of water for free. The restaurant seem to be a family business. The chef came out of the kitchen to ask us if we enjoyed the meal. So this was a Yelp stop in a whim. It was totally worth it. The food was all freshly cooked, piping hot, and portioned well. My steak sandwich was done medium, just as I like it, and very tender. Best roadside find for a road trip. The place is small but very homey. The owners are very nice. The chef even came out to check on his guests. If you are looking for some good old comfort food, this is the place to go. Our group ordered the country fried steak, steak, salmon and prime ribs. All of it are really good. Hidden gem! The night we went there was one cook and one server. By the time we finished dinner this place was packed! I had the ribs w mash potatoes, veges, beans, corn bread and salad. Stopped here on our travels at 8:00pm. You order in the little store then go to the dinning room to wait for your order. Only one person taking orders, bussing tables and bringing food to your table. She was very nice and pleasant but had her work cut out for her filling all the roles except cooking. Unfortunately we didn't get to choose what we wanted, instead had to pick from a short list of what they still had. No steak, no fish, no hot chocolate, no sweet potato fries, et. Stopped in here for some dinner after hiking in Bryce. The BBQ was awesome, all smoked right on premises and the homemade BBQ sauce was delicious. I am normally not a baked beans fan but these were smoked and I really liked them. Service was very friendly and I would recommend to anyone who want some good old fashioned BBQ. read more

Well unfortunately we dropped by this place at 5:15 on Sunday night and they told us they would be open at 6:30. When we returned at 6:30 they were not going to open that evening. The waitress and waiter were very attentive and nice. They made sure to take care of us. The food was decent, especially for hatch. I had the pulled pork sandwich, which was huge and filling. It was average. My husband had the ribs which were also decent. They did have homemade bread which was absolutely to die for. We were looking for a steak dinner and were referred here. Hatch is not far from Bryce and was on our way back to our cabin in Duck Creek Village. We arrived when they just opened for dinner. The restaurant was decorated very nice with lots of train memorabilia - really felt like you were in someones dining room - we loved it. They had a soup and salad bar that came with the dinner and the salad bar was very clean and all the choices you had were very fresh. The cook came out and talked with us and wanted to make sure she cooked everything just the way we loved it. She really loved cooking for people and really knew what she was doing. She really cared about making sure our experience was a good one - and YES it was. We all got New York including my daughter who we let her get her own for the first time without sharing ours and my Dad ordered the salmon - everything was Delicious. When we were leaving we had a few questions about fishing and hiking locations and the cook was very knowledgeable about the area and even got us a map and gave us suggestions on where we should go. We will be back again - very happy we came here for a wonderful dinner with great service. read more

Driving from Zion to Bryce. Restaurant Is clean, very limited menu. I had burger with steak fries. It was okay, fries were fresh. My wife had grilled cheese which was on Texas style bread. Not bad for being in the middle of nowhere. The water is fantastic. read more

Tried this cafe on our first night in Hatch. We both got steak sandwiches w/fries. The service was fast, the food was hot, and the sandwiches were okay. My fiancé enjoyed his sandwich more than I did, as mine was too salty. When the place gets busy, there is a long wait as there is only two people working there but it's still worth it. read more

Things have changed at this restaurant. It is no longer a full service restaurant. You order up front, get your own drink, and seat yourself in the dining room. Great for lunch or a quick dinner. Very nice surprise! The best steak I've had in a long time. All the food was great, cooked as ordered. Waitress was always smiling and friendly. Every thing was delivered in a timely fashion. Very reasonably priced, all entree's were priced $2 to $3 less than other restaurants in the area. Homemade bread was awesome and the cheesecake was to die for!
