We were looking for a new brunch place to go and decided to give this place a try after reading the reviews. The restaurant is extremely beautiful and looks more like a girl's bedroom than a restaurant. The place is very pink, but the shades of pink are muted and pale, so the pink isn't overwhelming, either. Knickknacks sit on beige shelves in the middle of the restaurant while another set of shelves holds a variety of green potted plants. In fact, plants seem to be the main theme of the restaurant, as they decorate almost every inch of the place. Pretty lamps hang over some of the tables and I'm not sure what this next thing is called, but I'm going to describe this the only way I can. There are "droopy dried tree branches" hanging over the counter at the front. They're very pretty, but this is the only way I can describe them. LOL. Daughter ordered the spicy avo toast with lox, which is seasoned mashed avocado, feta, sriracha mayo, two eggs sunny side up served on a sourdough bread with mixed greens topped with balsamic glaze. She loved the avocado and lox combo and ate it all up. Hubs ordered the Hatchatarian, which is grilled eggplant, fried tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, spinach and garlic mayo spread on a grilled herb panini served with fresh fries. He liked it but didn't remember much about it but he loves eggplant and this didn't disappoint. Lastly, I ordered the coffee cream toast, which is brioche bread dipped in a cappuccino, vanilla and cinnamon batter stuffed with a house coffee cream and topped with raspberry jam and fresh fruit. I loved my order! Presentation looked great and it was delicious. They also have a location in Metuchen but we didn't feel like going down that way. I'm glad that they opened one by the Jersey shore. Service was quick and friendly. Will definitely return when in the area to try other items on the menu. read more

I never have nothing negative to say from this place. I have been to both the Metuchen and Belmar locations, they are great. The food is delicious every time. I love how they are always changing their menu with the seasons. Both locations are perfect to dress up and take the perfect insta picture. Both locations can accommodate big groups. This is a newer restaurant in Bradley Beach that my friends and I wanted to try. Even in the off season, this place was very popular with most tables filled. We were able to get a seat with minimal waiting but I can imagine how popular this place can be during the summer. I loved the Miami beachy vibe. I had the Spicy Chick Hatchheld and the Farmhouse Salad. The Spicy Chick is a fried or grilled (I got the grilled) chicken breast, dipped in Spicy honey sauce with lettuce, tomato and slaw. The Farmhouse Salad had mixed greens, quinoa, cherry tomatoes, dried cranberries and sliced baked apple slices. Both dishes were tasty but a little pricey for what you get. The fall specials menu seemed full of sugary fluff cakes and I wish the restaurant offered more savory options. Service could be improved. We waited a while for drink refills and when out meals came out, we needed ketchup and extra napkins. Overall, this is a great spot to grab bunch with some friends. Definitely worth a try! read more

Stopped in right at opening on a holiday weekend. Right away you'll notice how intentional and thought out the decor is. Truly a cool place to dine. Unfortunately some of the design comes at the expense of comfort. The bench along the wall and wicker chairs were very uncomfortable. The service was very good and everyone was friendly. We all enjoyed our meals including eggs Benedict salmon Benedict and farmer platter. The bread was a little thick and needed butter which they graciously brought out once we asked for it. Amazing food. Great portions and very beautifully crafted drinks. You can feel the love they have shown through their food. My only complaint is the wait times. They don't take reservations and said it will be a 15-20min but we were waiting outside for over an hour. Finally we got seated at the bar which wasn't the most comfortable to have conversations. What a cute new place on Main St. in Bradley! We went for a late lunch on a Wednesday and initially planned to sit outside on their covered patio. However, after seeing the cozy and quaint space inside, we changed our minds and opted to sit indoors. The extensive menu features many unique and intriguing items, making it hard to choose. There truly is something for everyone: sweet, hearty, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. My friend and I decided to split the Avo Toast and the Hatchetarian, and both were delicious. Our server, Tina, was very friendly and attentive. Although we didn't have any coffee, we appreciated that they use nice-sized mugs instead of paper cups. I asked to charge the amount on 2 credit cards, emphasizing for one of the cards, they could only charge $25 and the rest on the other. The total turned out on that card was $25.75 due to the surcharge for using credit cards. I asked to have the fees reversed so I could have the charges allocated appropriately. They refused to do that due to the fact that THEY would get charge a fee. How's that for customer service??!! It sucks!!! read more

New place in Bradley beach that is open for Brunch. The inside is decorated very cozy, you can sit at a typical table with a bench or tables with comfy seats. I ordered the Hatchatarian it is grilled eggplant, fried tomatoes, mozzarella, spinach, basil on a grilled herbal panini with fries. It came out nice and warm and it was delicious! My friend ordered the "Breaking bread for that puddin" which was challah bread dipped in cinnamon sugar and granola fried, raspberry jam with banana pudding smothered in between, It's topped with whip cream. OMG I had to help her to eat it, so good. We were there till close at 3pm and they never rushed us. My only negative is they need to get mugs with handles because my cappuccino was difficult to drink because it was to hot to hold the mug. read more

Visited this charming cafe for the first time last week. i love the exterior entrance with its garland of flowers! The interior decor is pleasant and comfortable. Our waitress was sweet and very helpful. The creme brulee latte I had was delicious. The menu has a bit of a Mexican/Latin/ Caribbean flavor. We had six at our table and everyone loved their food. I had the classic french toast which had fresh fruit and a creamy vanilla sauce. The cafe has a relaxed vibe, and we never felt rushed. We all had a great time and enjoyed our food and drinks. We love the food and vibes at Hatch 44- however since they don't take reservations or call aheads, when we arrived they told us it would be a 45 min wait. Since we were all hungry and ready for breakfast, we moved on to another restaurant, only to be called 10 minutes later by Hatch that our table was ready. Too late to cancel at the new place that seated us right away. We would have much preferred to have given Hatch our business. Too bad they couldn't have gauged their seating time better. The curse of restaurants in this location continues. We were really hoping this place would be good after reading the appetizing menu. Decor is very tea party vibe. Hard wood bench seating is extremely uncomfortable. When it comes to the food they don't use seasoning at all. Was looking forward to the hash but was very bland. No salt, no pepper, no anything. The design inside is super cute, staff was very friendly but there were a few misses. My fiancé and I ordered the same meal for breakfast and it came out with a beautiful presentation but it didn't quite hit like it should have. We had the fiesta scramble bowl and it was tasty but it came out Luke warm, the potato's underneath were soggy and the eggs were so finely scrambled into the meal that I could barely taste them. The cappuccino was great but they put it in a mug with no handle. It was super hot and I was unable to pick it up without burning my hands. I tried to wait until it cooled but I eventually just had to ask for them to transfer it into a mug with a handle which caused me to lose all the foam on top. My family and I went here an early Sunday morning, having liked the one in Metuchen, NJ, figured we'd give this a try. Upon entering there were two females at the door who eventually seated us. It should be noted that there was no "hi" or "welcome" or "how are you". They gave us blank stares until we asked for a table for two and a high chair. They almost seemed annoyed that we were even there. We were then seated and met with our waiter I believe his name was Mike. I really have no complaints about him he was attentive and helpful, just again no warm greetings. I'm only mentioning this because I heard other waitresses who sounded more than happy and helpful to be there. The pancakes came out quick for my daughter and were delicious as was the beef empanada appetizer. My entree the fiesta bowl was also very good, but my wife's avocado toast was underwhelming. The whites of the egg were still clear and not cooked on one of them which she doesn't enjoy so she did not eat it. I wish I could give 2.5 stars because the food was good, but the people they have working there specifically the girls at the front are just rude. I'm not saying I want a red carpet upon my entry but a simple good morning or welcome goes a long way. read more
