It had a little bit of a bite (garlic and spicy), and though simple, was just delicious. I also got garlic bread - pretty standard baguette with garlic butter. Right in the heart of Dam Square (well, the side street heart haha) was this also mom and pop-esque Pasta spot and though small, quality food! The server was pretty cool and served the 6 of us quite swiftly. We ate until our eyes were crossing and we're pin drop quiet (which is how you KNOW the food is good). Stumbled upon this place during our first night visiting Amsterdam, and was blown away by the quality of the handmade pasta and sauces. Spaghetti was cooked perfectly. We tried the creamy fungi and pancetta along with the aglio e alio with extra cherry tomatoes. Both were phenomenal. The drinks, particularly plain water is expensive (€2.50 for a tiny 250 mL bottle), and they don't serve tap water. Also be warned that although they have a toilet, there is no sink to wash hands.
