Went to eat breakfast with a friend having loved Hash Kitchen's other locations in the past. I was excited to hear of a new location. I notified the workers that I had a severe gluten allergy (Celiacs disease) and I was told no worries they have "gluten free" waffles. I ordered and waited for the food it came out quickly and ate the waffles that they put down as gluten free. Quickly after breakfast I got violently ill my friend checked our receipt and it did not say "Gluten free" waffles on the receipt. I got nervous and called the establishment to let them know and ask for clarification on their allergen protocols and the worker told me on the phone that there is always going to be cross contamination for their waffles because they are cooked in the same skillet/waffle iron. I understand as a person with Celiacs I run the risk of cross contamination anywhere I go out to eat. However I was not notified by my server of cross contamination even being a possibility and that they use the exact same pan/skillet to do "gluten free" food with gluten food. If I knew I wouldn't have ate here. This is not to tear down the place as the staff was very friendly but not diligent when it comes to allergen protocols. I would just hate for this to happen to someone else as this time thankfully I wasn't hospitalized but someone could be or worse. read more

The name of this restaurant is so misleading according to their "night club vibe" I was warned by friends not to go to this restaurant. We walked in on a Tuesday morning for brunch (according to Joey M this is supposed to be a different "vibe" than it is on the weekends) yet the music was blasting so loud we could hear each other talk at the door. My young adult children asked to leave and eat somewhere else. Looking at other reviews and the blatant disregard for customers request to turn down the music we will not be going back. Joey M you keep commenting that this is the weekend "vibe" to be obnoxiously loud and recommending to come mid week. Well we did come on a Tuesday and it was ear piercing so I'd hate to see what it's like on the weekends. We won't be back and definitely warning others not to go. read more

Worst eggs Benedict ever! Served lukewarm in a restaurant half empty. Blaring music created terrible environment for eating. Coffee tasted like warm water. The only positive thing was the service. All requests for another pitcher of better coffee was met with a polite smile. read more

We visited on Saturday morning around 8am and were surprised there was no wait. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. I had the tsunami strawberry shortcake pancakes, and my husband had the chicken and waffles. Both were delicious, and the pancakes weren't overly sweet. read more

I took my Mom and sister yesterday August 29th. It was a Tuesday so it wasn't as busy as it is on the weekends but there were still pretty full. 10 minutes go by and no service. I am a Sever therefore I understood that every time our sever Ryan kept trying to come greet us or even just table touch to let us know he will be with us shortly he kept getting asked by other tables to take their order. What I had a huge problem with was that there was a Sever I wish I remembered her name who had tables right next to us and kept staring at us giving us dirty looks. The reason it bothered me so much and didn't sit right with me that she was giving us dirty looks was because she kept smiling at everyone else. We were the only Hispanics there so it makes me wonder if that was her reason. She got drinks for another table that sat not long before us and she couldn't bother to ask if she could at least get us water. After 20 minutes have gone by she decided that refilling sugars was more important than helping out her coworker. When Ryan was finally able to get to our table he told us that the hostess is brining us waters and when she came with waters she also apologized for the wait and that's when I told her what my problem with that Sever was and she told me that she was cut an hour ago and that's when I told her I understand that but I am also a server myself and that I would be helping out even if I'm cut because she clearly couldn't leave yet because she has tables still. I think that something was said to her because she ended up dropping my moms coffee and when she did I had to bite my tongue but she stood to my right and right in front of me handed my mom her coffee without saying excuse me and still with the very angry look on her face and when we said thank you she walked away. If Ryan hadn't been such a great Sever I would of asked to speak to the manager. Because this type of service is unacceptable! Especially at a restaurant that is on the pricier side. read more

Way too loud, couldn't hear myself think much less order or talk to the people I was dining with. They said it was an hour wait on Sunday at 10am...but after an hour and a half there were still seven people ahead of me. Ridiculous! This is the second time my son, boyfriend, and I have been here. First time was amazing and it was even busy on a Saturday morning. Today is a Friday and less busy. First thing they tell me they are out of biscuits and gravy. When I finally get my food, it is COLD and our potatoes are missing from our meal. The food was good. That's it. The service was SLOW. We waited 15 minutes before our order was taken and another 25-30 minutes before it came. The music was so loud that it was hard to carry on a conversation. Some of our requests were ignored until we reminded a waiter a second time. Admittedly, I am a senior citizen and this place is designed for a younger crowd that wants to have a Bloody Mary at a high price and wants to stay on their phones. This place is great if you go Monday-Thursday. Warning......if you go Friday-Sunday you will not be able to have a conversation over the DJ's loud music. I love music, but I also love having good food with great conversation. We had a party of 5 and once the live music started we could not hear each other talk. We asked if the music could be turned down a little and the server came back and said the manager said NO. If I'm going to pay $30+ for a meal, I will go somewhere else on the weekend so I can also enjoy the company of my family or friends. (BTW - our table age group was 35 and no one disliked the music selection, just the loud volume). Managers should pay attention to their guests. read more
