    Flies
    Jessica B.

Came here on a Monday morning. Service was fast & attentive at first, but then fell off once we got our food. Food was good, however they have a VERY bad fly problem in the restaurant. We were constantly swatting flies away from our food to the point that we eventually gave up on eating it because we were grossed out by all the flies everywhere. This was more than a minor inconvenience. It was absolutely disgusting, especially for a meal at that price point. Then it took a really long time for our bill to be loaded so we could scan and pay. Also, considering the fly population, I would think long & hard before diving into the Bloody Mary bar that sits out for the insect population to enjoy.

Very loud. Plays a mash up of early 2000s music and it was a vibe. Super cool place. Food was good. First time trying eggs Benedict and was not disappointed. Mimosa flight was good.

I've visited other locations but this is the first time ordering from this location. The food is expensive so you expect excellence. My son said his bread pudding French toast sticks were hard. The billionaire bacon needs a name change. It's thick, like Canadian bacon. But, it was burnt and too chewy to eat. The tamale eggs Benedict were delicious. The sweet cakes had great flavor, though I'd prefer they were solid instead of crumbly. The carnitas and sauce had great flavor, as well. This was ordered through a delivery app. I was disappointed I didn't receive my locally canned juice drink. It sounded yummy. I'd really consider visiting the restaurant again because most of the food wasn't up to a standard of a $70 brunch, especially since we didn't have any alcohol.

My mom and I visited Hash Kitchen on a Thursday morning. The music was nice and toned down from the usual. We tried the oatmeal and the Mexicans scramble. We also had a double order of the Billionaire Bacon. So delicious! It's a must experience. #gotGoldFlakes?

8.17.25 - grabbed some brunch before the lake. It's been a while since the last time I've been to Hash. I forget how busy this place can get. Tried to get a table at the bar but unfortunately there wasn't any so we had to wait about 40 mins or so. This place is always packed at every location! Like every location, they have a dj playing. It was a bit hard to hear each other but not too bad where we have to scream. It seems their menu has changed since the last time I've been. We ordered the Chicken Tinga Scrambler and The Best F#*%ing Birria Hash with a side of toast. Food came out pretty quick. I loved my chicken tinga scrambler dish! It had really good flavor and was the perfect amount for me. I think he liked his birria hash. The tortillas were a bit oily so he used toast instead. I would recommend trying the tinga scrambler!

I really liked this location. Fun decor, fun experience. Service was prompt and friendly. The food was good. Only reason its 4 and not 5 is I found the waffles a little dense for my liking and the chicken wings were a fattier style, not my favorite. Overall though it was a good experience. I will return to sample other dishes as the menu was varied.

French toast a little soft but great flavor Music a bit too loud. Clean establishment Friendly service

Stopped in Hash Kitchen for some breakfast while in Mesa, as it was close to my hotel. We were seated as soon as we walked inside and the hostess was friendly. This place looks like it is kept clean and the decor resembles that of your typical trendy restaurant. You know, the ones with loud upbeat music and overpriced items on the menu? The food I ordered wasn't bad at all, with the exception of the pancake. The pancake had an earthy flavor and wasn't very good. The Mexicana scrambler I ordered was decent, although I'll probably try the chile relleno Benedict the next time I am in Mesa. My only concern was, our server was more interested in tending to her cell phone than taking care of her customers. Other than that, Hash Kitchen wasn't too shabby. Give this place a shot - you may like it. One thumb and a half-smile for Hash Kitchen. Happy eating, my foodies!

From the service, to the impeccable cocktails and food, this is a must try! I was visiting friends from out of town and this was the perfect place to kick off our weekend. We enjoyed the Bloody Mary bar to start with and they had a great selection. You're able to choose your own type of bloody and then are given skewers to add whatever toppings you like. They have a huge selection from charcuterie meats and cheese to pickled veggies and bacon. Don't skip the bright yellow spicy cauliflower. It was my favorite thing! Aside from the Bloody Mary's their drink menu is quite impressive. I tried the Bad Idea which was a cocktail with yuzu and raspberry and it was delicious, sweet, and girly. We also had the Otterpop shot and the Bedrock Brunch shot (which tasted like a fruity pebble, cereal milk shot). Everything was 10/10. For my main, I ordered "THE BEST F#*%ING BIRRIA HASH 21" which was served over crispy potatoes. Their Birria was flavorful and tender. Overall, I had a fantastic experience! What a fun spot!

So. Yummy. Always. I've gone here quite a few times but this was my first time at this location. The service was great as always and our waiter helped us pick some of his favorites from the menu. Inside is lovely and fun with a real DJ and he was playing the best of the 2000's. Food was amazing, the birria has and hangover hash were my favorites, the least would be the coconut almond French toast. The build your own Bloody Mary was super fun!

I love this place but just know the music is loud. I mean crazy loud! But I love the vibe and the loudness! My breakfast was delicious and we all enjoyed the hash scrambles, pancakes, French toast bread pudding sticks that came with creme brûlée dipping sauce...so good!!! There was a bit of wait since it was weekend but I didn't mind at all. I loved the experience. This was my second time going there so my tip is if you want less music you can always sit outside (patio), or if you want to enjoy the nice loud music sit inside and enjoy full and out! Oh and don't forget to order the drink with the cotton candy! Cheers!!!!

Compared to the Chandler location this was "mild" in terms of music and crowd not in a bad way. This location is just quicker to get seated. The food was ok, considering I get the same thing all the time. However, my friend and I felt rushed. Maybe if we had sat at the bar we would be rushed so much. Luckily this location is far from me. So I may not be back here. I'm glad this side has some fun brunch places like Hash to go to!

The brunchilada hash was actually so good. U was surprised at how yummy it was. I also got a cookie butter latte that was yummy and not too sweet. The cannoli donuts could have been better. Tasted like they were fried in old oil. I love the look of this place. The vibes are always cool with the disco balls and decor. Our server was ok. Nothing special. But the food made up for that.

Do they have really loud music at this location? Chandler was deafening on Sunday.

They did have a DJ but it wasn't so loud that you can't have a conversation, at least when I was there. Hope that helps.

We grabbed a booth overlooking Page street and the foot traffic outside. Our server tonight was Treven who joined us table side. He had our drink and starters in quickly. My wife ordered the Lucky Penny Latte and I had iced tea. Starter was their out of this world Burrata. The photos fall short of its glory. Entrees was their memorable minestrone soup, and I ordered their sesame ginger noodle salad featuring sweet potato glass noodles which are delicious and a host of smartly paired vegetables, chicken and a pleasant ginger sriracha delivering some spice and heat without overpowering the dish itself. For desert we fell way off the wagon with their in-house carrot cake. A slice easily feeds four and we enjoyed ours with espressos. Dinner was excellent from the service to the scratch kitchen food, and expressos, Magnifico! $125.00 with tip and leftovers too. Date night my friends-SYOY!

We came in with our family and three kids and sat on the patio since we were a larger group. After eating, our kids were sitting in chairs near our table, chatting and moving around a bit. They weren't being loud or disruptive, but a nearby a couple clearly seemed upset. The woman was shaking her head and saying to the waitress "this isn't okay to be doing while people are eating", pointing toward our kids. Once I realized this, I immediately called my kids back over and had them sit with us, and I even let her know that if something was bothering her, she could've told us and I would have addressed it right away. The couple chose to ignore us and left shortly after. The manager then came out and reassured us that Lucky Lou's is a family-friendly restaurant and that our kids were absolutely fine. That meant a lot to us and really showed how supportive and understanding the staff is. I also hope one day that couple realizes how hard it is to keep a 4-, 6-, and 8-year-old sitting at a table for more than 30 minutes without shoving an iPad in front of them. At the end of the evening, they also brought out their delicious macarons as a birthday gift. Such thoughtful touches. Our server was polished, warm, knowledgeable, and completely on top of everything. I started with a sampling of oysters, and each one was superb. Tasted like it was frozen before and cooked too quick. I have had a steak at Black Angus that was much better and a quarter of the price. Service was friendly and flowing. Nice to finally go to a restaurant where the server isn't rushing you like most Arizona restaurants do. Would be nice if the desserts were listed rather than severs spouting them off. I could sense that the servers were tired of repeating the "spiel". That falls on management. I empathize for the servers in being in the industry as a sever and owner for over20 plus years. Overall .... Excellent!!!
