We finally had a chance to go back to Hash Kitchen in Chandler while we were down in San Tan, Phoenix, Arizona, for a few days. My husband and I stopped by around 11:30 A.M. on a Friday morning. There was approximately a 30-minute wait time. We provided the team member at the register, our name and phone number, in order to text us. We sat outside on a bench while we waited. Luckily, it was a pretty warm day for a December in Phoenix, around 70. On our phones, we took a look at their menu online. It had changed slightly since the last time we visited in March 2023. The last time I was here, I ordered the breakfast pizza. It was no longer on their menu. While waiting for 25 minutes, we finally got the text on the phone that our table was ready! We walked into Hash Kitchen, provided our name, and the team member brought us to the table. The service was pretty quick this time during our visit. The team member assisting us brought over menus and waters! Since we were looking at the menu online, we had already known what we wanted to order and informed the team member. FRIED PORK CHOP HASH buttermilk fried / thinly pounded pork chop / mozzarella / country gravy / friend onions CROISSANT BURGER smashed burger / caramelized onion / Applewood smoked bacon / American cheese / crispy hash brown / fried egg / hollandaise As we sat and waited, the DJ was playing some great music from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s. We heard a few songs from Ricky Martin that were remixed! The disco ball is always great to look at, and the DJ was awesome! The wait time wasn't too bad for the meal, approximately 20 minutes. Our experience this time around was a lot better than our last time! The food was outstanding! I had ordered the Fried Pork Chop Hash. The presentation was spectacular. The scrambled eggs and the gravy, with the pork chop. Underneath was the hash and some bell peppers. The flavor of the gravy was quite unique. It was slightly spicy and blended well with the pork chop. It was so filling! My husband enjoyed the croissant burger. You couldn't really hold it as a burger, so a fork was needed. It was so big, though! The French Fries were yummy. The restaurant was super busy and very loud with the DJ, but the food was tremendous. This time, my husband and I went. TLDR: Horrible service, very slow. If you sit on the patio, you will be forgotten. Go to literally any other upscale breakfast place. Horrible experience. Went in 3rd of July, it was pretty busy. Our wait was cut short by the hostess offering a patio table to get us served sooner. We agreed because the patio had umbrellas and misters. As we sat down a group of 4 guys get up and leave, telling the waiter that nobody helped them for 20 minutes after they received waters. This should've been the warning for us. The table behind us soon after revealed to the waiter that they never received one of their dishes with the rest of their order. We tried to remain positive and stayed. Our waitress arrives 10 minutes later, gives us water and takes our food order. We proceed to wait 30-40 minutes outside without receiving any of our food and without even being checked on. It is nearly 100 degrees at this point and the temperature has been steadily climbing, but we're not even getting checked on for more water or anything. I go inside, can't find our waitress and politely ask the hostess who sat us if she can help us get checked on and see if our food is ready. Several minutes later, we decide that it's time for us to leave; we're hot, hungry, and it's apparent that nobody gives a shit what's happening to the few customers on the patio. Our waitress sees us leaving and comes outside, at which time we tell her we'd like to just leave because it's been a long time and we're really uncomfortable. She turns, says "nobody told me you wanted to cancel the order" and walks away rudely as she ignores us attempting to explain that we are telling her, the terrible waitress, that we are cancelling the order. If the owner/manager reads this, the short woman and the man who were apparently serving the patio around noon on July 3rd cost you multiple customers. The woman's attitude is terrible and she would be better off not serving. read more

The food was pretty good for a place very focused on the drinks. We didn't have any alcohol, but it was very cool to see the bloody Mary bar and people enjoying all the cool drink offers like the giant Capri Sun things! We got there just as they were stopping taking orders for the day, they graciously took our order and served us like we weren't going to be the last people in the place keeping them from going home. But no worries, we did eat quickly. We sat inside and the music was pretty loud, it's like a party.Because they were closing the music did lower, I wish we would have gone to the patio, just because I like outdoor eating. I didn't see the outdoor section that wasn't front of the building until after we sat. The billionaire bacon was delicious, as were the French toast and pancakes, but the potatoes could have used a little flavor. My husband went to a bachelor party over the weekend so I made him treat me to mimosas and brunch with the kiddos on the Sunday. Lol! I had never even heard of Hash Kitchen (I might live under a rock), but he found it on Yelp! This place is COOL. Probably TOO cool for the likes of two middle aged parents and their iPad loving children...but I liked it. The DJ that early in the day was a bit aggressive, but that's my age talking. The patio will probably be quieter and more my style when the weather cools down. The mimosas were yummy and the food was even yummier! I got the carnitas hash and it fit the craving that I was having for breakfast and tacos beautifully. They were seasoned well and the tortillas def added to the meal. I was with a party of 6. Everyone loved their meals. Unfortunately , my Eggs Benedict came with hard boiled eggs Instead of poached. I asked the waitress if I could get poached eggs and she replied "yes" . She didn't take my plate with the toasted English muffins and Canadian bacon. She returned to the table about 4 times saying my poached eggs were on the way. I was given runny and barely cooked poached eggs 20 minutes later. I couldn't eat them and left most of my meal on my plate and took a portion to go. I didn't want to engage with the waitress in front of my guests. She apologized a few times about my meal. First time at this hash and it did not disappoint on the food. I got the berries waffle! The outside patio is really nice in the fact there are umbrellas and fake grass. My boyfriend and I usually go to the hash in Scottsdale and we would come back to bring our dogs. Our waiter was attentive on water and super friendly. Except for the table we were sitting at the sun was starting to hit half our party. The waiter did let us slide our table but the sun still was creeping on us. It was also getting hot outside and it wasn't until we were just about to leave they turned the misters on. They would've been nice to have a little earlier. Still wouldn't deter us from coming back but maybe just get 1 more umbrella between 2 of the umbrellas closest to the exit of the patio. David saved our experience!! So we came to brunch before church. Probably not a great idea. We were put on the waitlist. The waitlist was about 30-40 and people were being seating in the most awkward ways. There were groups of 2s being seated at large tables so it was alittle thrown off. However when we were seated. There was another wait to order. Do we decided to get it to go. I ordered a half of order of cannoli pancakes with a meal. It was amazing!! So the other meal had pancakes but they tasted like air and weren't really fluffy. The home potatoes and bacon were great. The eggs weren't it. It didn't have any seasoning at all David gave us great service but putting a rush on our food and we received it within 10 minutes. We really liked this place before this visit. Menu no longer has a lot of the items we liked. But that is just a preference. The problem is the incredibly loud DJ club music at 9am! If I was with a bunch of friends for a fun brunch get together, it might've been OK. But when you bring your elderly parents for breakfast and they can't even hear each other talk and certainly do not like that music, it's a problem. Also, with a name like "Hash" the hashbrowns should be homemade. The new hashbrowns are gross! it's the same thing you get if you go to McDonald's. This is my second time eating here for brunch. When you first start at the opening it is quiet. As more people are sitting and the dj starts to bring up the music. And when it's a packed house it's a club. If you don't want to be yelling across the table I would suggest sitting outside. The dj has good beats to make you dance at the seat though. This time I ordered the Dr Art Mollen scrambler which was a healthy veggie option but I would prefer something else next time as it wasn't a "tasty" dish and I could definitely make that dish myself. It came with has browns too. The kids short stack pancakes were bigger than the size of their face and came with fruit that wasn't as fresh.
