It was my first time here, and my sister's too. We really liked the place--the interior is so cool, and the drinks and food were awesome. The one thing I didn't like was that our server rushed us too much. They came to check on us too often while we were in the middle of conversation and even brought the bill before we asked for it.
Visited hash kitchen for brunch on Sunday. We got on the wait-list before going there, highly recommend it as it was quite busy and we still had to wait to be seated. Once seated the server and service was great, the server would come in and check in at a good interval to make sure everything was going well. The food bacon and the biscuits with butter was really good. Also tried the carnitas hash , definitely recommend trying it. The pork was tender, poached egg was slightly cooked more than it should have been. My friends tried the pancakes. Portions were huge and it looked good as well. It does get a little loud in there and they play good music.
1.11.26 - my friend wanted to get some mimosas and I was a bit hungry so we decided to come to Hash Kitchen. It actually wasn't crazy busy and we were able to grab some seats at the bar right away. It was a cold, windy day so luckily the inside bar seats were open. We both ordered mimosa flights and shared the Hashouka (from the limited time menu). Their take on the shakshouka dish included potatoes and it was delicious. I would order it again! Mimosa flights are always nice and they came in these pretty glasses. I can't remember each flavor but the only one I didn't like was blackberry. Guava would be a nice addition. I was buzzed after just 2 but that's because they also gave us a free shot. Can't remember the name of it but it had Midoro in it. Vibe is always fun here, music is always good and service was great!
I came in for brunch and ended up having THE BEST F#*%ING BIRRIA HASH of my life. No exaggeration -- that dish alone could convert a non‑believer. Perfectly seasoned, rich, tender, crispy in all the right places... it was the star of the entire visit. The atmosphere was energetic and fun, exactly what you want from a brunch spot that doesn't take itself too seriously. Music was up, people were vibing, and the whole place had that weekend‑ready buzz. My only complaint: the service was a bit slow. Not sure if they were slammed or short‑staffed, but it definitely took longer than expected to get drinks and food. That said, everyone was friendly, and once the food hit the table, it was worth the wait. Overall, great experience and seriously good food. I'd come back for that birria hash alone.
My friend told me brunch is her favorite meal and she loves this place and this particular location. So I told her we would meet here for her birthday. It was a really great time. Our waitress was fun, very hospitable, kind, polite and helpful. I ordered the Power Bowl with no mushrooms, brown rice and quinoa. I asked to sub with the smashed potatoes. This was excellent. I would definitely get this again. All the flavors hit home. There is so much on the menu to choose from I have to go back and try the McDrizzle. My friend got that and loved it. There was a live DJ who did a shout out to my friend for her birthday after I asked our waitress to let him know. We got there at 9:30am and it got more lively around 10:30am.
This one definitely missed the mark for us. Not only was the music blasting, the service was very sparse and they were all just kind of nonchalant. We definitely did not feel as welcomed. We had to flag them down for things and they all just kind of seemed busy in a rush each time yet the restaurant was less than half full. The food here is pretty expensive but that about goes the same with most brunch places. Unfortunately we did not think either our of dishes were worth it. I ordered the best birria hash and it was suuuuper oily with the potatoes swimming in oil. I ate the birria and the rest was leftover. This dish was about $20. My partner got the fruity pebbles toast and he said the insides were sticky as if it weren't cooked all the way through. This dish was a whopping $18 for a toast!!!!! I decided the $8 billionaires bacon was the best part out of the 3 which was kind of unfortunate because we were really excited for the brunch entrees! Unfortunately I do not think we will be back in the meantime....
Every single time we visit this hash kitchen, it is absolutely delicious food and the service and ambiance is top tier. My kids, 13 & 7, love it as well. It has something for everyone! I always recommend them when someone asks for a local brunch spot. I regularly choose the Birria Hash as my dish. It is soooo good, beyond words really. I find an over easy egg to be best with it, but all the components of the meal really ensure that anyway you customize your egg on top, it'll still be divine. Highly recommend this spot.
I went for brunch the other day and it was lovely. I've been to this location before and this experience was much quieter which was wonderful. The menu changed since the last time I was here and my favorite item is gone :( There were so many great options on the menu though which made it hard to choose. I went for the Cubano scramble today and it was tasty. One issue I found upon eating the rest at home was one potato was hard/uncooked. Otherwise the rest was great. I love the ambiance and decor of this place as well. Also, our server was wonderful as well and he wanted to ensure everything was going well and prepared right.
GREAT BRUNCH SPOT! If you need a fun place to go for brunch where the vibes are amazing (shout out to the DJ!!!!) and the servers are even more amazing definitely go here! I also learned they just changed the menu 2 days ago. I love a restaurant that's continuously making improvements and reinventing. I don't believe they do reservations so about 20 mins before my friend and I arrived I joined their waitlist. I didn't realize you still have to check in after joining on the site but still may be good to go join. We only waited about 7 mins inside after checking in at the desk. We were quickly greeted (which I love) and the server, I can't remember his name was amazing! He had awesome recommendations and was so attentive. I got the mimosa and it was delicious. For our brunch she got the matcha pancakes (2 people can DEFINITELY share this) and I got the chilaquiles. I will admit the only reason this place got 4 stars was because even though the chilaquiles was DELICIOUS I mean the flavor was AMAZING. The tortilla chips were so soggy . Super disappointing but the meal was honestly still so delicious, I was upset but still ate it because the flavors were so good. I'd definitely recommend you get them but maybe ask that the chips are crunchy. Overall this place is reasonably priced and I will DEFINITELY be coming back for brunch again. Also, I had no idea they had a mobile app but my server told me if you download it you can get a mimosa for like $7 off I think AND the more you spend the more freebies you get so definitely take advantage of that. Hash Kitchen in Chandler has been one of my all-time favorite brunch spots ever since they opened a couple of years ago--and they continue to deliver every single time. I recently came in after a post-birthday night out in need of recovery (as one does), and there's truly no better cure than a hearty, savory brunch. From the start, the experience was such a vibe. Our server asked if I was celebrating anything, and next thing I know, the DJ is giving me a birthday shout-out in between spinning absolute bangers. Such a fun and unexpected touch! I also got to redeem a free confetti pancake stack for my birthday--complete with a candle. So sweet, literally and figuratively. To kick things off, I ordered the EGGO™ Brunch Shot, made with Sugarlands "Eggo Brunch in a Jar" Sippin' Cream and garnished with crispy bacon. I didn't expect it to be that good--but it was smooth, slightly sweet, and I could've easily had a few more rounds. For my main, I went with the Breakfast Nacho Hash: tortilla chips piled high with chorizo, refried beans, chipotle cheese sauce, salsa roja, crema, queso fresco, and more. I accidentally added chicken tinga because I wasn't reading carefully--but honestly, it ended up being a happy accident. It added even more flavor and heat, and I loved every bite. My boyfriend got the Cristina's Tamale Cakes, which came with sweet corn cakes, green chile pork, poached eggs, and green chile hollandaise--plus Hash browns and an added side of birria. I'm not even big on eggs Benedict usually, but I was thoroughly impressed. The confetti birthday pancake stack was the perfect sweet ending to my weekend. Hash Kitchen is always a good time--delicious food, great service, and a fun atmosphere with DJs and good energy. It's a brunch spot that never misses.
Went here for Saturday brunch and it was sooo fun and a vibe. We were able to get a table without waiting! There was a DJ and the staff was so upbeat. I especially loved the build your own Bloody Mary bar. The brunch menu is also great with plenty of sweet and savory options. Don't skip the million dollar bacon either! I'll plan to come back when I'm in town!
This place was super lively! It was an awesome vibe and it's definitely a place to go for a great drink selection. They can their own seltzers and have a great selection for mimosas and Bloody Marys. The good was good but lacked flavor. Giving a 4 for the ambiance, drinks and service. My bar tender was great.
This is the third time I've been to this particular location, and always enjoy a lively brunch here as there's a live DJ. Definitely plan ahead as this place fills up and can have a wait. Luckily, they quickly accommodated a party of 7 on a Friday around noon for my team's outing. The food is always delicious, and I was able to find a meat free option though I wish they had more. They could really have some out of this world vegetarian and vegan options like they do their regular entrees. Overall, the atmosphere and vibe makes the drinks and food great even if I'm limited when eating meatless meals. read more

Hash kitchen has to be my favorite spot for brunch! The food is excellent- personally I'd go with any of the hash options, I mean it's in their name! The mimosa flights are also really fun. We ended up with a fish bowl drink last time and that was super tasty and A+ for presentation! The restaurant itself is so cute with decor. The walls all have fun quotes on them and on weekends they have a DJ playing some of the best music. Lastly, I recommend getting there early on the weekends. If it's past 11am you are prob going to be waiting a while. I have been very impressed with how quickly the staff turns the tables over and how quick and attentive they are, despite them always being so busy when I'm there. To drive the point home, I brought my friend here from out of town and she loved it so much she asked to go again the next day if that shows you how great this place is! read more

Whenever someone asked me about my favorite brunch spot, Hash Kitchen was top of the list. However, the last time I invited a couple of friends for breakfast, it wasn't exactly the best experience. We waited 40 minutes to get a table which is understandable considering their first-come-first-serve service. Besides, it was very loud. We could barely hear each other. Been here twice. 1st time was a cool experience both food options for Vegans & the atmosphere. The extended patio provided enough space for comfortable dining amongst 2021's social distance mandates. 2nd time, the sole Vegan option-a burger has been removed from the menu. Also, on a Friday at 11A, the wait time of 30 minutes was over an hour long & our order of a Burrito, Fruit & Side Salad took 48 minutes to hit our table. + the extended patio was gone or not available, as people were cramped on the astroturf type of patio. Seems to offer more space at the firehouse window bar...go figure. Social atmosphere for what I call weekend brunch vibes, yet not for an early weekday lunch. When asked why so busy mid-Friday morning, the answer - "because we have a DJ". Won't remix here again unless the menu pivots to offer omore for the V Crew & definitely not for an early lunch on a Friday or the weekend. read more

I have been here 2-3 for times I haven't had a bad experience once the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable in the menu. My favorite dish is THE BEST F#*%ING BIRRIA HASH* and the name says it all it's very good the flavor hit all the checked boxes ! Also would suggest The Chilaquiles are amazing! #kitchen is the definition of Instagramable. The interior design is on point, the plating is superb, and their menu is filled with trendy items prepared to perfection. My best friend recently moved to Arizona and couldn't stop raving about the hash-slinging slasher kitchen in Chandler. Naturally we insisted on squeezing in a flight of mimosas during a 3-hour layover. The fun didn't stop there! We also indulged in a number of breakfast items, including their hash and the quirky Potato Breakfast Tacos. These tacos were piled high with avocado, potato, fried egg, and shredded chicken tinga. Despite having four mimosas, I couldn't stop eying the Bloody Mary bar, which included a buffet of toppings that would bring my Bloody-Mary-loving-father to his knees. Chicken potato tacos and mimosas were exactly what the doctor ordered after a weekend of celebrating the New Year. Maybe next time I'll get wild with a Ferris Wheel of shooters? read more

Today I ate breakfast at Hash Kitchen and had their AList scrambler with potatoes and ice coffee. It was delicious and the ice coffee was good too. Very comfortable booth. It was very clean. Had a nice atmosphere. The waitress was friendly and gave great service. She even ask if I would like an ice coffee to go. The only downside was the portions were small compared to other breakfast restaurants. So that is why I gave it 4 stars otherwise I would recommend it especially if you like Bloody Mary drinks. It had all a nice patio to eat too. Recommendation would be to not go on the weekends because it is packed. I guess Bloody Mary has a lot of pull. read more

I am pretty disappointed with the 50/50 burger and the captain crunch peanut butter jelly sandwich. When I saw they had 50 % ground bacon in a burger, I was very excited. I've had 50% grounded brisket in a burger and it was out of this world! This burger tasted plain. The combination of pepper jack cheese, egg and a brioche bun still was not able to salvage the burger. The captain crunch peanut butter jelly sandwich lacked the captain crunch flavor I was paying for. I love peanut butter and jelly so it wasn't a complete waste. Holy Batman ! This place is hoppin live music with a DJ here jammin away in the background. It's so loud it hard to talk to one another without having to yell a little. It's definitely a fun place for breakfast and brunch, so many choices making it hard to choose so I had 2 breakfasts lmao. I had the herb fried chicken & waffles and the pineapple upside down pancakes. Hubby had the hangover short rib hash, and bestie had biscuits and gravy. For drinks we had white claw disco ball and Reese's peanut butter cup CBD cold drink. Everything food wise was super phenomenal on here. We waited about 15 minutes to be seated because the place was packed for a Thursday morning. To the right...they have a Bloody Mary bar & a DJ. Hash is kind of a staple of the Chandler area. From the moment you walk in the door it's obviously trendy and hip and comfortable. The place is always busy but if you go at the right time the wait can be pretty short, I think for lunch on a weekday about 20 mins. The menu still includes the Bloody Mary bar and Mimosa flights that my friends enjoyed. I ordered the potato breakfast tacos with chicken and OMG the serving was massive! I was only able to eat one taco. Be prepared because it is a little pricey. For my breakfast tacos and iced coffee my bill for myself was about $28 before tip. Also, don't bother trying to park out front. I was almost hit by a wanna be tycoon in a Porsche. Just park across the lot and walk over. It's never worth competing for spots right in front of the restaurant. read more

I'm still lukewarm about this Hash Kitchen and its location. I've been to the other one up north and the vibe & the food just seem to deliver a lot better than the one here. The menu is pretty comprehensive with a lot of things but it's hard to find the right balance of something you want when your not drinking. It seems like most items are missing a compliment to it. (and yes, I know you can go a la cart). This time, I was pretty disappointed with my meal only because I made a request for bacon versus ham in it... had to send it back and on the 2nd time, it still came out with ham in it. I decided to just roll with it and when I got halfway through, I realized I wasn't enjoying it. I did however enjoy the buttermilk pancake I had as a side item. I think my biggest issue was the menu and food items... they just aren't big drawl appealing. Oh, they are "big" but just don't "satisfy" the way that they should. In particular of the avocado toast is my biggest disappointment. Music vibe was loud but didn't bother us as some good tracks were bumpin. If your coming for a work meeting or a meetup with some expected conversation... find a quieter spot! read more

What a fun place! I wish we had one of these back home in San Diego. Brunch and a DJ was a blast! The DJ was awesome with 90s throwback music. The level of loudness is high so if you're wanting to have a quiet brunch this is not the place for you. All the tables seated we're having a blast and all the food we saw coming out of the kitchen looked great. Our food included was delicious. We were seated quickly which was surprising. Food was good and presented beautifully. What I didn't appreciate was the loud music. The DJ needs better equipment or needs to learn how to adjust the level for each song. I had wanted to eat there for some time to find out what the hoopla was all about. Terrific experience today at this Hash Kitchen location in Chandler, including outstanding service from Kiana and a very nice chat with a manager, Usiel. We've been to several different locations around the valley but definitely would rate the experience here the best. The music can be a bit loud at time, so if that's a sensitivity to you it may be worth asking to be seated on the patio (still music, not quite as heart pounding). The portions are quite generous and the menu has a great assortment of breakfast/brunch selections and drinks. The hashes (hence their name) are a trademark and are exceptionally filling. But we really haven't ever disappointed by whatever menu item we choose. Some things like the banana split French toast are just epic to look at. The price makes this not an every day spot for breakfast but it's a great location for a special occasion, out-of-town guests, or when the boss is picking up the tab. Expect a significant wait on the weekends (as is the case with all good breakfast options around here) but weekdays usually have seating available, or at least that has been our experience! read more

Ok so be prepared for a wait here so don't come starving right away... but the wait is so worth it! Second warning, these meals are shareable unless you are starving... so split something and try two things is my suggestion. You won't go home starving... I nabbed the avacado toast and I was surprised there was a balsamic dressing under Meath probably w some oil but it was really good. For the ma mouth size f the bread the size of the egg was a little small but with the pork it was great! Like why haven't I tried this at home great? I highly suggest a mimosa flight and if you like bloody Mary's I'd get one of those. It looked pretty solid. All in all this was a great visit and our waitress was a rockstar. I stopped in based on previous reviews, and my need to kill time before I moved into my new living situation. I rolled up there on Monday, May 1, 2023 about 9am so this place was sleepy, and just waking up, like yours truly. I generally do not dish out 5-star reviews for breaky, brunch places but ... I'm compelled to give credit where / when credit is due [see what I did there?] I digress. I was greeted immediately by the host with the most, I requested to be seated outside yet under an umbrella because I was feeling booshie at the moment. My server, Ivan, swiftly appeared with water, and a menu. I instantly noticed a Mimosa Flight, which I never heard of a such a thing. And for four dollars more I could have cotton candy glitter bomb. Apparently, I was barreling down a path of no pain this morning ... strawberry, pineapple, blueberry, and the traditional orange Mimosa was presented to me with the quickness. YOWZA. I decided to knock down this buzz with Smoked Brisket Hash, because when in hash town, you've gotta get a hash dish. This chopped brisket / caramelized onions / crispy potatoes / provolone / beer battered onion rings / poached eggs / bbq demi was served on a small cast iron skillet - delish! I didn't anticipate spending $50 on myself for a Monday brunch, but it was worth every penny! Do yourself a favor, c'mon down for delish dishes, and drinks. read more

The birria hash was one of my top 3 brunch items I have ever had in my life. I was split between three hashes and my waiter said I would be dumb not to get this one. Absolutely incredible. The spicy Bloody Mary was wonderful (and the perfect amount of spice). The mimosas were kind of a drag and one of my glasses leaked all over the table. Hit the Bloody Mary bar and grab you a hash! Went for an early Sunday morning breakfast and even though the place was packed my party of four was seated right away. We started with cannoli donuts which were huge but dry and then I had potato tacos that were not all that bad but I would not order again. Now, what made our experience worse was our server Kiana hardly came to check on us and at one point when we asked for a refill she rolled her eyes... . This is one of the best places to have brunch with the ladies! The portions of food were really good for the price and the cocktails were on point! (Let me start over again, as I have written this review on another restaurant thinking it was this restaurant. Lol so I had to delete that review and placed it here, on the correct one) However, I didn't like the Salmon Tower presentation. I just think that the "tower" didn't really represent what the dish is. Adding the salmon inside the sliders would be much better than having to assemble it yourself once that dish came out. Better to have one plate than two. The tower or whatever that thing is called just made the table not have space to put anything, especially when you have a party of 5 or depending what the people in your party ordered. Especially, we had to try to remove the un-used coffee mugs that were on the table, which were uneccessary to be. Should have them available, only if people ordered a hot beverage or tea. One thing I noticed though, once my salmon order came, the flies flew in out of nowhere and surrounded our table. It's like who invited these flies? They were attracted to the salmon for sure. Had them buzzing like thanks for feeding us. Lol Anyway, I would recommend this restaurant. If you want good food size portions and instagram worthy photos, #hashkitchen is your place to go. If you go before 10 am there is no DJ.. I'm pretty sure that's what Dominic told me.

DJ is there Fri-Sun mornings. I've only ever seen one over the past several months, but maybe that's coincidence. He plays all types of dance music, every decade you can think of!
