This location was located off the freeway and we stopped in for a quick bite on our way to Toronto. Initially we didn't realize that it includes 2 restaurants take-out options in 1 location. Swiss Chalet and Harvey's. My husband had a Angus cheeseburger which was semi-dry but it was nice to be able to pick out your own fresh toppings and have them placed at the counter ie: Subway style. The onion rings were average, didn't specifically taste fresh. I enjoyed the frickles, which are fried panko style pickle spears served with a traditional ranch sauce. The traditional poutine was really good. The fries were nice and crispy with a good portion of brown gravy and cheese curds, lightly melted. The service was very very slow for fast food so keep that in mind if you are in a hurry. read more

They just renovated, it's usually not busy if you go around 3 P M. The burgers are yummy. But if you need to use the toilet, it's in the Swiss chalet. read more

I freaking love Harvey's, and am really sad that we don't have it in the U.S. Every time I visit Toronto, I make it a point to stop here on my way home. While Harvey's has all the makings of every other fast food burger joint, there's just something about it that ranks it way higher as compared to most (in my book at least). They just redid this one in the past 8 months or so, and it looks great. They keep it really clean, and I've never walked in and had one of those "ew" moments due to trash being everywhere or whatnot. There's also a Swiss Chalet that's connected in the same building, which could be convenient if you come with someone that's trying to eat a healthier. Food is pretty good as well. I usually stick with the kids cheeseburger meal, as it's plenty of food for someone that prefers their portions a little smaller. If you get one of the "adult" meals, hope you're hungry because some of them are pretty big. They even have "acceptable" veggie burgers here. Not quite my thing, but I usually travel with a vegetarian who's pretty picky about her veggie burgers and she loves them. It's a little higher priced than most fast food places I've frequented, but this also be only because I'm used to seeing U.S prices.. The addition of deep fried pickles to the menu is awesome. Even if you don't want 4 to yourself, they're big enough to get an order to split as a mini appetizer. Only reason I gave this 4 stars is because the past couple of times I've come, my fries were on the cold & soggy side. read more

always out of something. first they were out of jr burgers, then they were out of iced tea, then they were out of onion rings?! burgers are either dry as crap or SUPERRRR mushy. staff is rude. do not recommend coming here, go to other locations. read more

The last couple meals we have picked up in Grimsby have been horrible. They were cold, dry and things were missing from the order. If we do eat at a Harvey's, it won't be the Grimsby one. read more

Stopping here is ALWAYS a must on the way to or from Toronto. I love that they have vegetarian options (veggie burger) and now they have fried pickles?! Fantastic!! The veggie burger is great. It's not too dry like a lot of fast food veggie burgers. I love all of the options they have to put on it and that you can dress it yourself. The fried pickles were perfection. Crispy not soggy and the batter they use is great. They come with 4 and are a great size. This was a great addition to the menu. The service is always fast and the people are always friendly. The prices are very affordable. It is by far some of the best fast food and I'm very sad we don't have them in the states. read more

The worst Harvey's I've been to in a long time. It is not even 9:30pm but the fries were soggy. The Original burger was almost like they just threw things together. The wrap was not worth eating after 2 bites. Avoid. Try the Subway or Tim Hortons nearby. read more

I normally wouldn't review a fast food spot better than 3-stars. Generally, you know what to expect. As long as they don't majorly screw anything up, it's fine. The food we had was fine on this visit - 3-star-worthy. BUT, this particular store gets a perfect rating thanks to Ann, one of the store's managers. When my friend and I wandered in extremely hungry after a long, hot day of house-hunting we were met at the counter by a friendly face that made warm conversation with us and the other patrons while still getting the orders in and garnished quickly. While we were eating, Ann rotated around, tossing out garbage people left behind and wiping tables - all with a smile. She also stopped to check in on guests while she worked and just seemed to genuinely enjoy her job and interacting with guests. Seriously the best example of sincere customer service I've witnessed in a very long time. read more

I got a double cheeseburger with fries and a coke. It was great! Fries didn't taste v fresh but still tasted good. The Harvey's sauce is pretty lit... honesty tho it don't compare to American fast food! read more
