I don't like how one of the entrances is right in front of a car beside the drive-thru window. Poor design in my opinion and a safety concern. The restaurant is small and very open inside. You hear every noise, so it's not a place to go during prime time if you want some peace and quiet. We placed our orders in front at the register and move down the line where our burgers were prepared with our choice of toppings. Service was really good and friendly from each employee. We grabbed a table and began eating. Surprisingly our burgers were not that hot and didn't taste like they came right off the grill, as they should be. They must have been sitting for awhile. They tasted pretty good but would have been a lot better being cooked fresh. We also ordered deep fried pickles, which were again not as fresh as you would expect. They need to ensure you get hot food. It makes a world of difference.

So good. Guacamole wasn't even extra! Excellent. Veggies were fresh and the chipotle mayo was pretty dang good. Frickles were crispy and deliciously dill with a side of dipping ranch. Overall a decent meal. It's still fast food so ya feel a little gross after it. It is filling and rather cheap. To top off this Canadian experience, Degrassi was playing in the restaurant.

I'm from the United States, where everyone brags about how good their burgers are, how the US makes the best burgers in the world, a classic American dish that no other place could top. That was entirely false. I ordered a California classic on a gluten free bun and it was 10/10. My family ordered hamburgers and impossible burgers and they said they were the best burgers they've ever had, and my 60yo mother said it may be the best thing she's ever eaten. The gluten free buns were soft and squishy like gluten ones, the meat was cooked well, the impossible "meat" was cooked perfectly and cooked-to-order, and the toppings were fresh. The sautéed onion on mine was perfect. The milkshakes are also great, and big for how low the price is. My family got choco caramel and mint chocolate and they were great. The fries were just okay. Not something I would order on their own. The burgers were filling though, so it was fine. The counter worker was friendly and welcoming. She didn't know whether the secret sauce was gluten free, but was otherwise knowledgeable about the menu's details. It turns out they have allergens listed for everything on their website, as well as nutrition information. I'm type 1 diabetic and my blood sugar stayed stable after eating, meaning the listed facts were accurate. And my family with severe celiac disease had no adverse reactions to our food. A win! The ambiance was pretty cool, but loud. It's a small-ish space but it doesn't feel cramped. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Overall, my family and I loved our experience. This is somewhere we will come back to over and over again.

The brioche bun was fresh and soft, and the bacon was cooked perfectly, adding a great crispy, savoury bite. My only disappointment was the blue cheese. I was really looking forward to that strong blue cheese flavour, but it was definitely lacking and only came through as a very subtle hint. For a burger specifically centered around blue cheese, I was hoping for a little more. That said, I still enjoyed the burger overall and would definitely return to The Works to try some of their other burgers. There are plenty of interesting options on the menu, so I'm curious to see how the others compare!

We had come here at around 1:30 pm on a Friday afternoon. The place wasn't too busy at the time…read morehowever, there was a large party of about 15 people at the table behind us; it looked to be some sort of a work function. We were seated on the second level in a booth, which had the large window opened all of the way. There were three children and two adults in our party therefore, we were given both children and adult menus to order from. My son settled on the chicken fingers with fries, while my daughter chose the hamburger with fries. I decided on the avocado dip with nachos, although the dip wasn't really a dip, as it was chunkier than I had liked. The food took about 15 minutes to arrive, which wasn't too long however, the kids were a tad restless having to wait. Both of my children's dishes had a large amount of fries, with only a small amount of chicken strips and hamburger. My avocado dip had an overflow of nachos, yet not a lot of avocado. It also had too much onion, which made the dish taste strong. The service was good throughout our entire stay, with the server checking on us periodically to make sure that we were okay. The food was mediocre, and definitely not worth the price that we had paid. Overall, would most likely not return to this restaurant. To be honest, we only dined here as it was the closest to the movie theatre that we were at therefore, it wasn't our first choice initially.

Since the garlic bread was already so flavourful and greasy, it was not dry at all and was really good. Loved this combination! However, we did not like the Hawaiian burger.
