I love Harvey's. I don't know if I have some kind of bias for whatever unknown reason, but I'll eat anything from here - my fav being their Frickles. Their deep fried pickles are the best bang for your buck and I love that you can pick the kind of dip that you get with it. I'm a bigger fan of the coin style beer battered deep fried pickles (like Sal's on 82nd street had), but these are the best of the spear type I've had, which is pretty wicked considering they're just a fast food place. Harvey's burgers are pretty solid. I wouldn't say they're super flavourful or juicy by any means (even their stuffed burgs) but I love that you can customize your burger. Some days I'll make a Mexican flavour inspired burger, others I'll make a Greek food inspired, etc. Whatever you're in the mood for, you can satisfy your palate with one of these burgers. Their chicken products are suuuuuper yummy! I love them more than the burgers. And I love that they're ALSO customizable, just like the burgers. Something pretty cool about Harvey's is their Value Menu. They have everything from the fried pickles to fries, onion rings, mini burgers, taco bite things w Doritos on/in them, and more. If you're craving a bit of everything for a good price, this is the Value Menu you need. I should state here though that when I'm craving greasy food, I'm more stoked over the value than the perfection of balance. When I need to stuff my face after a stressful day, I just want a bunch of flavours for cheap ‍ take it or leave it lol I'm not too keen on Harvey's poutines simply bc their fries aren't my fav. They're pretty bland, but whatevs... you can get a huge (yes, customizable) poutine for cheap. Again, a good option for when you wanna mow down. I've heard their milkshakes, slushes, and whatever that mix of the two they have is called. However I haven't tried any of these myself. First thing we noticed was the place was under staffed and the workers were clearly frustrated with the situation and I don't blame them. Owner(s) should smarten up. We purchased the Original burger and Junior burgers and wondered why the Original burger had a white stripe on the top bun and the Junior burger did not. Well we got our answer when we sat down and opened them up. The burgers were pretty much the same size and when they proceed down the assembly line from the kitchen, the staff need something to quickly identify them before they pick them up. Otherwise they couldn't tell because they're pretty much the same size as my uploaded pictures will show. The big plus with Harvey's is their condiments which is second to none. read more

This is the best Harvey's in the City (34th Ave is a close second). The Angus Burgers are always great and the staff are consistently friendly. Service can be a bit slow sometimes but they're working hard. Kudos to management. read more

As a Canadian, I love Harvey's! I've been to Harvey's at the airport, on 34th Ave, at South Common's Home Depot, at WEM, on 170th St., and (PHEW) finally - this location (countless times!). Haha, I am so fat, but as you can tell, I love Harvey's burgers. I didn't think I cared enough to make a review about a fast food joint unless something stood out to me. And the service, burgers, cleanliness and location of this place stands out to me because of the many random times I've visited. It's our (my fiancé and I) safe bet to get some good food in whenever we're in the area. I do like Wendy's which is next door and Burger's Priest which is a few blocks south, but nah I always have to come here. Don't forget to search up "Harvey's Canada online coupons" if you plan on going here, they'll accept it if they see it on your phone. Also, the Angus burger beats all - SO yummy! read more

This Harvey's is as good as it gets in terms of fast food, of course you can't rate it the same as a higher end full service restaurant - but I really believe all restaurants have the ability to be good. I used to live very close to this Harvey's and it became a 'go to' spot for take out nights when we were too rushed to cook. The service has been exceptional, one gentleman who works there was so happy and pleasant that we actually left smiling. Who can say that from a fast food place?! As good as fast(ish) food can get, mcdonalds burger king wendys or even dq cannot match, You order the basic burger ingredients style eg double cheese burger after that you decide what goes on. As for the staff they are friendly and keep the location very clean. I hadn't been to Harvey's in a while and went there for lunch today since the nearby Wendy's/Tim Horton's didn't have an empty seat. The place was clean and staff friendly but oh boy, the food! Actually, I wouldn't even call it food, it was sustenance and not very good at that. I decided to get the Great Canadian with Onion rings and regretted it after taking the first bite. The burger had no pink spots, but it somehow seemed under cooked. The meat was a light grey instead of brown. I would comment on the taste, but it had none! The way the meat was ground the texture was stringy, like a bunch of earthworms were mashed together into a patty and cooked just enough to kill the e. coli. Event the onion rings had no taste! I suspect Army rations would have been better. But wait, that's only part one. I regretted the taste, but my stomach regretted it about 10 minutes later when it started gurgling. After 20 minutes, my digestive tract began to regret my choice and started to crave the washroom. Horribly, I had no pepto-bismol. I was going to originally give it two stars due to the friendly staff and cleanliness but you don't go to a fast food place for the exceptional service and decor. This is by far the nastiest burger I have ever eaten and would prefer gruel to it any day. I never thought I'd say McDonald's was superior to any place to eat, but their burgers seem like Filet Minot compared to the crap I had (slop is too good a label). If you value your taste buds, digestive health and sanity, never, EVER, go here. Don't even step foot into the place just to go to the washroom to rule out the chance that you may be tempted to eat something. Run! Run far away and don't stop running! read more
