In todays visit we picked up a leotard. Carol went out of her way to order a leotard for my daughter and picked out a few others just in case. my daughter is tall and slender and she is difficult to fit. we also got fitted for some tap shoes while we were there as well. Carol genuinely cares and wants everyone to have a great shopping experience at her store. Everyone provides really wonderful customer service and they offer fair prices. We have been going to Encore since they opened and will definitely keep going back!

They fit my daughter with a shoe that was too wide, told her she looked great in it, and sent her on her way. She ended up with a broken toe because there was too much pressure on her toes. Once she was fitted with a new shoe from a different ballet store, we tried to return the unopened shoe and were told we could only have a store credit or a direct exchange. They would not refund it back to our card. Given that we never want to shop there again, we had no need for a store credit. I would highly encourage you to go to Assemble Dance instead.

Especially since she waited until after her pointe shoes were "dead" to tell me. The one she needed were back ordered at both the local stores until mid march :( oy! the Loveland store did recommend this shop to me and said they had a pretty big warehouse in addition to their store so they may have what we needed. I called and asked if they had the needed shoe in stock. They did! I asked if they were able to ship. Yes! So away we went with the order! Got the order in 2 days was super fast! And in time before her next pointe class! Thank goodness! Very thankful! The gal who answered the phone was friendly and more than willing to help! The store itself is a little far to travel to for us, but if we are ever in a jam again in the future will definitely call back to see if we can get what we need here! Since their relocation I've sensed a bit of desperation to sell the highest priced item. The dance shoes are not visible, rather they are in the back so you can't choose. You know like oh this is nice I will try this or what not. When I told them what I was looking for It seemed that they really pushed the higher priced item's on me without any options so I thought that was the deal. However non of the shoes they showed me fit, that is when they brought out other options that fit, cost way less and I liked them better. It felt sneaky! They're selling the same pair on eBay for $39! To think they could have discounted the shoes for me due to excessive shop-worn condition upsets me. I only got $11 off, same as every single new customer, and wish I'd asked for a better pair or that THEY OFFERED. While they do still fit people probably more narrow than other fitters in my area she does listen and is willing to try many different shoes and is willing to listen to the dancers feedback. They also have a fair amount of shoes in stock to try which is very helpful.
