Haven't been in this particular location but wanted to give a big shout out to Jake for going above…read moreand beyond to help me find a very specific bike part for my son's Norco Optic. Jake works at the Golden location, but I actually ran into him in their C3 Highlands shop which he was visiting on his "day off" (a clear indication he's a bikaholic). I had popped in looking for said part, which Highlands didn't carry, but Jake offered to check their Golden shop the next day. I emailed him info re: the exact part needed (a small bolt, actually). We chatted twice the next day and while he, unfortunately, did not have what we needed, he not only scoured their parts bins, he also researched other bikes that might use this same bolt to ensure he'd exhausted all possibilities before delivering the bad news. (We can obviously order the part but needed it quick...outta luck there.) B O T T O M L I N E : If Jake is representative of the service you'll receive at C3 Golden, GO!

FAR more interested in impressing each other than helping a cash-paying customer. They tried to sell me a bike with serious damage to the paint, but I made them get me an un-damaged one. They tried to say that damaged paint "wasn't really damage". Total BS from worthless, ignorant people. I do not recommend this store for ANYTHING - period. I'll never go back. They were the only store that had what I wanted, or I would have walked out. If they had a "zero-star" rating, I would have selected that.

I checked Yelp and saw that this place had only a couple reviews but they were all 5 stars so I thought I'd give it a shot over going with a big name bike shop. Wow, I'm glad I did! The Bike Doctor got me in right away - like an hour after I called! His shop is basically the garage of his house, but don't be deterred. He is super knowledgeable and legit. He tuned our bikes and gave us some great tips for taking care of them and avoiding future issues. He had recently broken his leg and even though he had to use a cane, he was more than capable with our equipment. If I'm back in town and need anything to do with my bike, I'd absolutely call him again!
