I live just a few minutes from Derby and decided to stop in on a Saturday about an hour before closing time. The interior was much bigger than I expected, and the floor is packed with bikes, gear, clothing, and other types of equipment. I was greeted right when I walked in and explained that it's been a while since I've owned a bicycle, so there has been a lot of advancement that I've not really kept up on. I don't know much about the details of biking other than the basics, but Bill (at least that was the name on my receipt lol) was super nice and explained everything to me in a way that was easy to understand. After a little back and forth, I ended up purchasing a Specialized bike in a really pretty sage green color. Bill explained the warranties, their commitment to servicing their bicycles, and even let me know that they're always happy to help or answer questions that come up after you begin getting more acquainted with the bike. While bicycles have become a lot more expensive since the last time I owned one, I'm very happy with my purchase! I took it out that evening and it was a ton of fun. They didn't have my (in stock) purchased bike. The email explaining this had been sent 10 minutes before I arrived and 3 hours after they had charged my card. Between the in-person conversation and my vendor email, there was NO apology. My bike was NOT in stock. And a gravely voiced guy was like, yeah this bike is out of stock.
