I've been meaning to write this review for a while, but life has been busy. As a single woman and a…read moremother, it can be really hard to find a mechanic you can trust without feeling like you're being taken advantage of. Unfortunately, that has been my experience more times than I'd like to admit. The first shop I called gave me a bad feeling right away based on their customer service, but I still made an appointment. Afterward, I checked their Yelp reviews and was shocked by how many negative ones they had. That didn't sit right with me, so I decided to get a second quote. I already had a good idea of what was wrong with my car based on past experience. When I called this shop, the difference was immediate. They were professional, respectful, and didn't argue with me or try to upsell me on unnecessary repairs. I specifically looked for negative reviews--and there were none. I dropped my car off early that morning, and they gave me a clear time estimate for when it would be ready. They even sent photos of the issue. While I didn't fully understand what I was looking at, the fact that they were transparent enough to share images--knowing I could easily research them--told me everything I needed to know about their honesty. I don't remember the technician's name, but they took great care of my foreign car, Lexi, and I'm beyond relieved not to be driving around with grinding rotors anymore. I truly appreciate their professionalism and the way they treated me as a customer. Every single mother needs a mechanic she can feel safe with--and I'm so grateful I found one. Thank you all for your help.

I called up JT Auto as soon as my check engine light came on and I was connected with Lisa, who is an absolute gem! She was able to get me an appointment for the next day and walked me through the whole process. I had to come back more than once in between my meetings, and Lisa was very considerate and informed me that because they were experiencing a delay, she could stay open a little late so I could pick up my vehicle. The first time I checked in, she informed me that the wrong part was sent over, but Lisa expertly navigated calling the right folks to ensure that I got the right part! When picking up my car, JT was able to answer all my questions and recommended some helpful service tips that may save me from some grief in the future. The second time I went in was for routine maintenance and the whole JT Auto team was able to get me in and out ASAP! I can say with confidence that JT Auto is my go-to location for all my car needs. Thanks to the whole team for providing efficient, reliable service!

Now that Marty is gone, avoid them at all cost. I found them to be very dishonest in their dealings…read morewith their customers They were the only Auto shop to touch my BMW X6 to give me a diagnosis on why one rear strut was not rising. After their analysis, they charged me and returned the vehicle to me with both struts deflated and quoted a high price for the repair. I asked them could they inflate the compressor and the mechanic said it cant be inflated, it can only be replaced for the amount quoted. I got a 2nd opinion and was told that the compressor was deflated manually and the screws and ty-straps in the place where the compressor is located are missing. They also said the compressor can be inflated electronically and did it. Went back and asked to speak to the manager on duty. The guy I spoke to wouldnt reveal who he was but pulled up my ticket and when I told him what happened, he then said they didnt do it and he was Steve the owner and they didnt touch anything. Well if they touch anything, how did they know to quote me the price. Either he was lying or they gave a quote without doing the diagnosis. He also said no one never said they couldnt inflate the compressor. SO if you know you could do it, why would you return the vehicle to me with out raising it since the same equipment you use to do the diagnosis is the same equipment you use to instruct the computer to raise the vehicle. The other company inflated the compressor and no issues were found. Never going back again. Terrible service and I believe they create damage on your vehicle in order to charge for repairs.

And this time I brought my car in for an oil change and I had a problem with my car making noise they looked it over but didn't find anything wrong. However they did tell me that I needed tires so I ended up getting my oil change and four tires at a reasonable price better than if I had gone to a Sam's Club or Costco to get tires. They mounted them balanced and did everything they needed to do. I will not be taking my car back to the dealership if I need any work done on my car I will definitely bring it back to Prince Auto . The service was quick they didn't try to upsell me and tell me things are wrong with my car like they do at the dealership to get more money. If you're looking for an honest repairman that's not going to try to get more money from you for car repair and that is reasonable Prince Tire and Auto is your place. Don is the owner and his son works there as well. Give them a chance you won't regret it.

Well unfortunately I have to rate this locally owned establishment a failure…read more I had high hopes for this place. Yesterday I called to inquire about a tire plug/patch as well as an oil change and they were awesome over the telephone. They quoted me a reasonable price, and asked if I could have my vehicle there by 0800, because they can get me in and out fast. In return, due to my work schedule I told the gentleman that I wouldn't be able to make it in until around 0900ish, which he informed me that was fine it just might be a longer wait. They took my name down, and scheduled me. Well, this morning I got off work, and showed up to this place slightly around 0930, walked in, and met with the gentleman at the front desk, checked in, and the gentleman behind the glass in the room, cut my conversation off I was having with the front desk, and told me their booked up now so it will be a while. After being interrupted, I ascertained about the turnaround time, and he told me Monday. Keep in mind, originally it was only going to be a slightly longer wait for being there around 0900, and all I was getting done was a simple tire plug/patch and oil change. So how does one tell me over the phone a slightly longer wait to now a three day turnaround??? Fri-Mon. Needless to say, they didn't want the business, I tried to support a local shop. So I just took my vehicle to GoodYear, and was in and out within an hour. Plus awesome coupons to go with my purchase. Sad, and I wouldn't recommend. Perhaps allowing your front desk staff to do their jobs without you interjecting would've been more understandable.
