    Biscuits and gravy
    Irving S.

Tried Harry's Cafe for the first time and I was genuinely impressed. The portions are very large and everything was well packaged. Every item we ordered was made to perfection--the French toast really hit the spot, and the biscuits and gravy are a must-try. The service and overall food quality were excellent. My family and I were very pleased--easily one of the best breakfasts we've had. Honestly, I don't understand some of the negative reviews. This is a must-try spot. Sometimes people come in with a negative attitude and that affects the experience--customer service goes both ways, and the customer isn't always right. From my experience, everything was on point. We'll definitely be ordering again.

BLT & zucchini, salad - spaghetti coming

We have different cravings for late lunch/early dinner. And going to Harry's is our solution. She had BLT w/fried zucchini. I had a basic spaghetti & meatballs with the salad. Portions are generous. We have leftovers for another meal. Approx. $15 / meal . Service is good - this staff is always kind & friendly. My favorite diner is the area.

Burger combo with a ton of fried zucchini thrown in on the side!
    Mike B.

Pretty average greasy spoon joint, to be honest. In my ongoing quest to find the best fried zucchini in Orange County, couldn't pass this place up while driving by lunch time. The burger was average, as were the zucchini, but man did they give you a ton of zucchini with the burger combo! Considering that I also ordered a side of a thousand Island in addition to the side of ranch and it was all about $12.50 with tax, I throw on an extra star for value at this place!

    Chicken fried steak and eggs

Great service!! We went on a Saturday and this place was packed. I know why it's because for the food and price, you can't beat it. It's pretty loud and packed. You order your food at the counter and they bring it to your table. There's also free fruit over by rh water station. Great family diner!

Breakfast burrito - need magnifying glass to find egg
    M D.

Came to Harry's today to get a sausage breakfast burrito for takeout. It was 80% potatoes, 15% sausage, 4% cheese, and 1% eggs. Disappointing compared to the way the breakfast burrito used to be here! I know egg prices are high but this was really a potato/sausage burrito. I would rather have them add a dollar surcharge and put some eggs in this thing!!

Our waiter (whose name I forgot) was exceptional and was very friendly and quick with anything we needed! The portions were HUGE. Both omelets were delicious, I loved the Baja Omelet more; the chorizo had extremely good flavor and the little cup of salsa on the side was a little spicy with a good kick! The orange juice tasted very refreshing and my boyfriend got the mango lemonade which was equal sweet & tart. The star of the day in my opinion was the banana pancakes! You can tell they were made with love, homemade, perfect amount of banana slices that were caramelized and slightly burnt which adds such a rich flavor. The sourdough toast was okay, wish they had more of the cracked sourdough and not the toast kind. The strawberry jam they provided also tasted homemade and it was WAY better than the pre-packaged jellies at other restaurants! I would love to try more of their breakfast menu or even try some lunch items. Would 10/10 come back here again!

They have a good number of tables out front, all covered by umbrellas or the patio cover. The inside has a warm cozy feel with its wainscoted walls with dark green paint above and white wood paneling below. They have booths along both walls with tables in the middle. All of the tables have very nice butcher block style wood. There is very light country music playing in the back ground. The air conditioning keeps it nice and cool inside. It is decorated well, and this is probably one of the nicest strip mall-style cafes I've dined in. They were very busy on a Saturday morning, but I was seated inside immediately in a booth. I'm on a strict diet right now, so I just ordered two scrambled eggs ($4) and a side of four bacon strips ($6). My order was ready in less than ten minutes and everything tasted great. While I was waiting for my order, I saw a lot of delicious looking dishes being served to other tables. The host who seated me and my server were both very friendly. They have a good variety of breakfast and lunch items on the menu, and their prices are very reasonable. I would definitely stop here to eat again when I'm in the area.

Yesterday, I got the chicken wrap and it was fabulous. Tonight, I had dinner and just the salad filled me up. The rest of the dinner I took back to my hotel room. My waitress Kayla, was special, sweet and memorable. While taking my order, she doodled a heart and that peaked my curiosity. Waitresses sometimes write little notes of appreciation but this is the first time I got a heart on my ticket. I asked if she does that with all her customers and she said no. She said she doomed it because I was special! I don't hear that much so I ended up speechless! I thanked her and gave her a cash tip. I was in a group of 8 people and everyone liked their food: hamburgers, Cobb Salad, fried zuchinni, Steak Benedict, and Country Fried steak. It was most similar to a Denny's or IHOP, but the food seemed actually made by hand versus trucked in by a national corporation. It wasn't the kind of group where I felt comfortable asking to taste everyone's food, but my chicken fried steak was excellent! They offered both beef or chicken options. I had a salad and mashed potatoes. The salad was good, as the romaine lettuce was fresh. The steak was perfectly fried and the gravy had so much flavor! The mashed potatoes were slightly chunky and had potato skin in them. They gave the equivalent of a whole potato! It was very filling! Our server was super sweet, but they were out of several items, including all desserts. The Diner seemed a little dark and dated, but was clean.
