After a CMYE in Anaheim I was hungry and this place happened to be open till 11pm which is really rare to find a hamburger joint opened that late.. When we walked in they had twilight on TV.. I can't hold that against them, but it just means they have satellite TV so I'm sure this is a nice spot to catch some games or news on a saturday/sunday morning. This place is right near Rancho and a lot of my friends like to come here. I would describe it as your typical burger joint that has breakfast items as well. Oh boy though, their breakfast burritos are disappointing! I don't mind crunchy bacon but these were over done. The hash browns were just as crunchy as the bacon... It's okay. I work across the street from here and my students are always stopping by for chili cheese fries and breakfast foods. I've been there twice and each time my food has been mediocre. The first time I ordered a sausage and egg burrito and it was basically three sausage links (uncut) packed into a burrito with egg and some cheese. I was underwhelmed but decided to give it another chance. The second time I ordered a pastrami burger with fries and an orange bang. Props for having orange bang because not many mom and pop places are willing to carry it anymore. There were about a few slices of pastrami on a burger patty with a ton of iceberg lettuce strip, onions, and a tomato slice...with a ton of pickles. I thought it tasted okay and it was edible, but I feel there is better cheap diner like food elsewhere in Orange County. I will only come here for the Orange Bang in my opinion. read more

I escaped for a day to have lunch with a friend living in the area and she brought me here. What a find! If you're in town for Disneyland, have a car, and are on a budget, it's definitely worth the short drive down Katella into Stanton. What I love about this place is that most of the food is between $5-$7. Not only that, the portions are generous and the food actually tastes good. There's a little something for everyone on the menu. Breakfast items galore and tasty Mexican and Mediterranean dishes. I went for the Denver omelette. The omelette was great and the hash browns came out extra crispy. Perfection! As for the interior of the place, the booths are a bit run down, but it's decently clean. Went through the drive thru, the girl who took our order must have had trouble understanding. When we approached the window we said we wanted to make sure it was correct and it wasn't. We then told her again assuming she finally had it right because she acted as if she did. She gave us our order and it was still wrong. My sister moved from L.A. to Stanton a few years ago, and recently when I came to visit we decided to stop by some place near by for some food. Not familiar with the area too well, she decided to come here. I really like the food here. After a few visits my usual has become their Breakfast Burrito with avocado, though I also enjoy a club sandwich and recently also Harry's Cafe Omelet. The service is pretty good, and the meals usually don't take too long to be served to your table, and the prices on the food are decent as well. Depending on how busy it can get, they are pretty good to stop by your table and ask if everything is well and offer items such as mustard, coffee, dipping sauces, etc. When you are out of your drink, simply go to the counter and ask for a refill. The portions of the food are awesome! I'm a big eater and though I've never left with a to go box (which you can pick either size you want at the counter), I've found myself wrestling those last couple of bites on different occasions. I have not had any bad experiences here yet (though, the Mens room might need a little cleaning and possibly a fresh coat of paint as there is quite a bit of graffiti on the walls and mirror). This place offers Counter service, meaning you go the counter and place your order with the menu board behind the cashiers. I ordered the Brosted Chicken dinner, and to my surprise, this was in fact not greasy but a decent tasting meal. Comes with four pieces of Chicken, broasted to golden brown, tender and juicy and cooked just right! Served with Fries or a baker, and comes with a lettuce salad with two cherry tomatoes and a cucumber slice with your choice of dressing. Not only the salad, but also, yes, I did say ALSO a bowl of soup, the choice was beef Vegi and Chicken soup, I took the Chicken Noodle but it did taste like someone dumped way too much Salt into the soup! Now, with the Soup, Salad, Chicken and Fries, the cost was only $5.99 plus tax. Once you give your order, you will go and find a seat and they will bring the meal out to where you are sitting instead of calling a number. Not a place you would take someone to impress them, but great for a quick and cheap meal when in the area! Look on the windows for specials, breakfast for around three bucks? Best place for breakfast with the best prices! I have been going to this place for years and years! The service is wonderful and the food is always delicious. I never have a complaint whenever I go. HOWEVER three of the girls taking orders at the register are ALWAYS rude no matter if you come in smiling and pleasant or if you're a d*ck customer. I'd come here more often if it wasn't for that.
