Buffalo
Holly W.

In our mind's we were headed to Buff's but we read a friends Yelp and they said try Harry's so we pivoted. On street parking in a slightly busy area. All the staff are young but super inviting and friendly. This place is more spacious and brighter (natural light from large windows) than dive bar but has a dive bar vibe with dark wood, large bar and walls decked with beer signs. Our waitress was new and said that in her onto which was great to do. She did a great job! Extensive menu. Our family settled for a little sharing to sample. Buffalo wings, Gouda mac and cheese and Irish nachos. Good portions. The gouda mac and cheese was delicious! All the gooey cheese was underneath and each bite was warm/cheesy. The buffalo wings were cooked well. They have ok blue cheese here. For the win- try the light switch in the ladies room especially if you have kids!

Nachos

I like this place for the beer selection they have but I'm not a huge fan of the food. I ordered the nachos which only had cheese on the top layer and nothing underneath. They were also more like pita chips and not tortilla chips. The prices on the menu were also quite different than what we were charged. It said is was $12 for nachos but we were charged $14.50. It was just annoying.

Memphis Fried Pickles

A++ for the plating on the fried pickles. Really loved the drinks, and the prices especially for drinks on draft are really reasonable.

OMG! What a fabulous brunch! We over ordered but were happy with everything we ate. Had the scrambled eggs, which came with scallions in it - love that! Also had the Cinnamon Roll French toast - devine! The BLT Avocado toast was fabulous! We only ate half of what we ordered but enjoyed it the next day. This place was not packed like many Boston area brunch places so as of right now it's a hidden gem. I will definitely go back with a big appetite! Service was great!

Reese's Puffs Donut ($3.00, September 2019)

No wait around noon on a Sunday. Pros: -Rotating brunch donut on weekends! Sometimes featured on Instagram beforehand but not always. Cons: -Loud music, even in the morning -Kind of dark -- Reese's Puffs Cereal Donut ($3.00) Yeast donut with a heavy sugar glaze, chocolate drizzle, and Reese's Puffs. The donut itself was warm, light and fluffy, which I appreciated! Unfortunately the toppings were overwhelmingly sweet--much more than a typical glazed donut. Chicken Pesto Panini The presentation was impressive! I was a big fan of the toasted bread. Unfortunately, the chicken was a bit bland. The fries, on the other hand, were great! I'm not even a fry person, but these were perfectly crispy, thin, and salty. I'm sure the sweet potato version (+$1) is even better!

Harry's is a great vibe. Food is always good, and the Guinness is poured well. The brussels sprouts are a must for the table.

The food was flavorless and the drinks were overpriced. It is a waste of money and time, don't bother.

A solid spot for brunch with reasonable prices. I had the breakfast sandwich and potatoes. The server was friendly as well.

Ask the Community - Harry's Bar & Grill

Are yours wings gluten-free (covered with flour)? I don't have a severe allergy, fortunately, so if they go in the same fryer with other items, that's Ok. Thank you!

Yes our wings are not made w any gluten No flour at all…

What is gluten free on the menu?

Hi Elaine, We do offer gluten free buns so you may have burgers, brisket and grilled chicken…

Wow - what a great deal. I ordered the 2 Sandwich Special which comes with 2 chicken sandwiches of…read moreyour choice and then either fries, sweet potato fries, or onion rings, all for just $16.95! Separately, each sandwich is around $10 and onion rings are $6.50, so the combo is a ridiculous deal. The onion rings are also a HUGE bag so definitely worth the money. For my 2 sandwiches, I got the Honey Kluck Grilled Sandwich and Tang-Go Kluck Sandwich and both were great. The fried chicken here doesn't really feel like fast food - it feels like real chicken meat that isn't greasy at all. The seasoning is good and the sauces are great too. Even the buns felt like good quality! Of the two sandwiches, I preferred the Honey Kluck Grilled Sandwich but both were top tier. The honey sandwich had honey mustard sauce and veggies with a nicely grilled piece of chicken on it. The balance of flavors and fresh veggies with the flavorful chicken was just perfect. 5/5 for sure. The Tang-Go Kluck Sandwich was also very good with a tangy sauce coupled with cheese and pickles. The fried chicken on this was crispy and full of flavor without feeling unhealthy. I would have liked a few more veggies on here, but it was still a solid sandwich. The onion rings were SO CRISPY too. And the bag was huge - probably at least a full onion. The fact that if you ordered 2 sandwiches and onion rings separately, it would cost about $26 but the combo is only around $17 is great value. The food doesn't feel like fast food, and I was completely full after eating the meal. 5/5 would definitely return!

I thought it was over priced.. $13.00 for a piece of fried cheese on a stick. It did taste heavenly with some dipping sauce but the price was too high. The restaurants atmosphere was really nice and it's a place you can take some one on a date... The bar and cocktail menu seemed really nice as well. The service was prompt and friendly. I hadn't tried it before but I wanted to try another ginger rice dish after a very wonderful experience in Cambridge at Chicken and Co. I got the original, which is boneless chicken with ginger rice and a side of sauce and radish soup. The chicken doesn't really have much flavor but you've got to mix it with the sauce and the ginger rice! So yummy my gooood. It does have some tiny jalapenos in the sauce so be careful my friends. I wish it came with more ginger rice but overall it was filling. The raspberry lemonade was also extremely refreshing and flavorful with a bunch of fruit infused in the clear can. It wasn't busy when I went on a weekday, which was nice. If you love your Korean corn dogs they also have a bunch of those on the menu. We found KChickin nearby on Peterborough Street and they're open until 9:30pm. We walked quickly over as hunger is a good motivator to walk fast. The restaurant has takeout but offered enough space to hold three famished Fenway newbies. Service was quickly and friendly and the food was served fairly quickly. Seems like most restaurants begin at the suggested 18% tip to start. Some calculate their tipping suggestions at your subtotal before adding the taxes to your bill. This restaurant included the taxes as part of its tip calculation so be aware that you're actually tipping more than 18%. FYI: as a customer, you decide how much to tip for quality service. Bringing your orders to your table is basic. How many times they filled your water cups and check up on you are important and expected. Tipping is not automatic in my humble opinion. Servers who work diligently for their tips so tip accordingly to those who provided a great dining experience.
