The food was amazing and the waitress was stellar. Great menu with a lot of diner style options. We had the Italian beef and the grilled ham and cheese. Both were delivered fast and hot! They were also both delicious! The beef was tender and juicy and cooked perfectly. The grilled ham and cheese was toasted perfectly as well. The fries were fresh and crisp and golden too. The only down side they need to work on is the host area. They don't take names or keep a list and the place was very busy. They were taking customers out of order and had obvious preferences. That can be a bit discouraging and we almost left because of it. However, the waitress was fantastic and saved the day. read more

Harry O's did a nice job with our very large party. We had a room in the back of the restaurant with a private bar. The facility is very large and handle large groups well. The team here was very friendly and hustled to get our food and drinks. The best dish we had was the fried chicken by far. The chicken was very moist and cooked perfectly. The tender chicken melted in your mouth. The crispy breading had a slight amount of mild spice and greasy taste. Definitely get the fried chicken! The side salad was very plain. The lettuce was fresh. The side vegetables weren't very attractive or plentiful. It was just kind of there. The homemade rolls were very good! The were slightly warm and soft. You could easily pull the roll apart and apply a pat of butter. Very nice! The lemon rice soup was smooth. There was neither a strong lemon or rice texture/taste. The soup was mildly warm. The sauerkraut and sausage was a good attempt at a German dish. The sauerkraut is very mild and lacked any zip or pop of taste. The sausage was plentiful. However, the taste got washed out by the bland kraut. The potatoes had a nice mild spice and were slightly fried. These very somewhat tasty. The mixed vegetables were fresh and cooked to a soft texture with a slight crisp. No special additive seasoning...just a little bland. read more

You know that if the restaurant is dirty in places you can readily see, it has to be filthy in places you can't see. There's a thick layer of dust and dirt on most surfaces in this restaurant. The window sills, the decor on the walls, the lighting fixtures and the floors are all filthy. The restrooms were a dirty mess too. We had a late lunch and within 2 hours of getting home my husband and I both had severe gastrointestinal issues. I won't elaborate. We will NEVER go back. We went there for mother's Day and had a good dinner. I ordered the walleye and it was very good my husband had the half slab of ribs which he enjoyed a lot. And we got a huge platter of fried vegetables, also good. What I didn't like was we had a free dessert included with our meal BUT... You should definitely be able to take home your included dessert if you can't eat it after your meal. My husband ate his ice cream but I was not allowed to take home my tapioca!!!! Why is that??? They give you containers to take the rest of your meal home why not your dessert? Any other Greek restaurant similar to this one would allow you to take your dessert home because I have done that. read more

I have never had such a "rude" waitress as we did last Friday. My husband ordered minestrone soup, and Sherry brought him lemon rice. My husband ordered a Rueben sandwich and she brought him a Harry O's melt. I ordered the chopped steak medium rare and another person order the same but cooked medium and she switched our dinners. She told my husband he was wrong and she was right. Or entire table agreed with what my husband ordered and she yelled back that we were all wrong and walked away. Needles to say I wouldn't have tipped her at all and I advised the rest of our group to do the same. My husband, being the bigger person left her a small tip stating she really needs it as she must be having a very bad day. Coleslaw was really good. The only issue I had was the refill policy of only 1 refill, and I understand for soda, but 5 oz. of coffee, really ? Service was great and she resolved issues immediately. So very disappointed with this restaurant. My husband and I stopped on our way through town wanting to take a well needed break from traveling. We ordered an appetizer and 2 Harry 'O cheeseburger meals. Our appetizer never came so when they brought our food I kindly asked them to take the appetizer off our bill. He said no problem and left the table. That's also when we realized our burgers was missing the cheese. We ate our meal anyway because he didn't come back to the table . We never got our drunks refilled because we never saw our waiter again. So after waiting a good while trying to get another waiters attention, which didn't happen, we decided to go to the cashier up front. We told them we didn't see our waiter and never got our check. She went into the kitchen and anther waiter came out with our check. She said our waiter left and gave her the check to give to us but she forgot. The service was decent, but when me and my girlfriend walked in and waited to be seated, there was a small bucket of candy. It was full of snickers minis, and I ate ONE piece of candy. Then I noticed when I was walking to the bathroom that the candy bucket was not on the desk anymore. When I went to pay the bill for my measly little sandwich, I saw that candy bucket behind the glass with the candy that was for sale. We stopped here for dinner, after having recently moved into the area. This restaurant needs to figure out what it wants to be. The internal room decor, the items on the menu (I had Prime Rib with a side Lobster Tail), and the prices all appear as if you're experiencing a nice, higher-end, sit-down restaurant. But, the table/chairs, mats, and food quality are all cheap diner level. My wife had Lake Perch, and my son had a cheese burger; both the same quality as my food - which is to say, low. If the prices were 50% what they were, or if the food was twice as good, it would get a higher rating. It was clean, and the service was fine; but, for sure the value to quality ratio is low. read more

Our orders were taken and food was delivered to our table in 30 minutes. The pancakes were amazing, the burrito (chorizo) was up there with the best of them. Upon walking into Harry O's you must know that it is not an expensive establishment. The meat of the country fried steak and home fries were a bit lower quality but the rest of the food was quality. Harry O's has character, decent food, and average service. It is a an experience that is now a staple to me and my friends when going through northern Indiana. read more
