If that sounds like your vibe, be sure to check out Old Dog Coffeehouse in Lowell, Indiana. From the endless creative menu to the delicious seasonal drinks, this spot completely won me over. The atmosphere was adorable, the service was exceptional, and the whole experience had that welcoming small-town, family-oriented feel that makes you want to stay awhile. Plus, there were plenty of furry friends around to say hello to! I'm so glad I had the chance to stop by while in town. My nephew absolutely loved seeing all the dogs and enjoying a cake pop, and the Berries & Cream Latte was the perfect treat--easily one of my favorite seasonal drinks I've tried recently. Such a fun and cozy spot that's well worth a visit!

Our gluten-free Toffee Chocolate Scone ($3.75) was tasty. I had a Toffee Chip latte ($6.45) that was beautifully presented. My husband enjoyed his iced Bananas Foster latte ($6.45). We also tried the Strawberry Cheesecake Hand Pie ($6.50) but didn't really care for it. We came back recently, and I was disappointed that we were given everything in paper/plastic even though we ordered our food and drinks to enjoy there. I much prefer drinking out of glass if I'm visiting a coffee shop. My Stroopwaffle latte was quite tasty, but I didn't love the Jam Session latte. While the indoor seating can fill up, I noticed they have some outdoor tables as well. The pastry selection is somewhat limited, and I'd love to see some heartier breakfast options. Love their creative latte selection and commitment to quality.

We went to check out the place for a small snack because my friend's daughter's love their sandwiches. Sip has counter walk up service and then they bring you your food. We tried the blueberry Boba lemonade and split the Ewok sandwich. The Ewok is one of the more tasty sandwiches I've had in a long time. It was amazing and massive. It was very sweet of them to serve the sandwich on two plates and give us an extra side of the pasta salad. The bread was hot and crispy, and the chicken filling was moist, and it was just great. Of course it being named the Ewok might have made me a little partial since I'm a Star Wars fan. The pasta salad was super garlicky, it needed a little bit of salt, but definitely edible. The inside of this place is so adorable with all of the eclectic furniture that it is the perfect spot to go and hang out with a beverage, coffee or a sandwich. No complaints.

The staff is efficient, personable and 'on point' Kaylee warmly greeted me as I entered the building. She was very patient with me as I me meandered through the menu. She provided suggestions of drinks that would fit my taste as I told her I prefer tart over sweet. I ordered a large Sweater Weather for my tea and a large Strawberry Cheesecake for my shake. At my 1st sip of the Sweater Weather, Kaylee was spot on. It had a tart flavor that gives it a zing similar to that of a green apple jolly rancher or raspberry. It looked like the 4th of July in a large cup as the colors of red and blue blended together. The background music was not too loud and everything appeared quite clean. There was a soft but pleasant smell of candles in the air as well. I highly recommend popping in or some of their new fall drinks to start your day.
