Try this place out on a random Saturday morning. First, let me say that it is hard to find as the building looks like some type of converted commercial construction warehouse space prior. It has very low ceilings very few windows and from the street. There's only one large sign to see it. Even on the building itself there are no signs on it not even on the door. Parking here is a little unusual as there is some parking in the front that I think you can park in that is shared with the florist. Otherwise, you have to drive to the back to the very construction looking area to find parking. Once in let me say that the staff was very friendly there was quite a bit of them, and we were seated immediately. Unfortunately, again going back that I think this used to be some type of a commercial space converted. The bathroom door is open directly into the dining space and there is no separate hallway for it. We were seated in the very last booth closest to the restrooms. The staff was very friendly, patient and attentive, so this was fantastic. There is a sign that says that this is family run by the Barrera family. And it's so great to know that we can patronize a small business. The food came out very very quickly, which was fantastic so no complaints there and it came out piping hot, which is even better. The portions seem really big however please note that the hashbrowns alone took up half the plate. So it would have been nice to get a third option available on the menu to put with your dish for the plate for example of fruit option even for my Benedict or a fruit option or another vegetable or carb for that omelette. There was so much food that we took some of it home as well primarily due to the hashbrowns. The only real complaint is the coffee here. It is so thin and it is basically brown colored water that after this we went across the street to Starbucks to get real coffee. I know this place is new and is definitely trying to get its footing so I look forward to it succeeding and then being able to really improve upon the space or better yet get a better building and location. read more

Honey Bee is our new favorite breakfast restaurant. Their menu has a variety of tradicional breakfast entrees but some have a creative twist. Although it looks small on the outside, it is spacious on the inside. The service is superb and their chef is obviously passionate about their delicious food options. read more

I Love breakfast and I have to give them their props. I wanted to try this a couple times before I reviewed and I have tried the avacado toast,frittata, chilaquiles and today the stuffed avacado. OMG I have not been disappointed yet. The staff are all so friendly even when I came on a Sunday and it was a wait they said hi and apologized for the wait. The restaurant it self is quaint but homie and it was like a family event almost. I would definitely bring family and friends but with the size of my family I will have to apologize for the wait after we are seated LOL read more

Picked a breakfast spot after our workout at the Y and we were greeted and seated quickly. Nice big menu with a number of skillets all well priced. I ordered the Popeye's Skillet and Hubby the Irish Skillet. They were beautiful and the taste lived up to the presentation. So delicious, fresh, and generous. We feel an exceptional value when we have enough for doggy bag to feed us (forget the dog!) the next day too, particularly when it tastes as good as the day set in front of us. We have been wanting to go here for months and finally had the time to do so! It is a very quaint, family owned business and it had a nice atmosphere. I really enjoyed the Honey Bee Special skillet and thought it was so delicious! Also having 4 eggs in the skillet made it easier to have the perfect skillet-to-egg bite ratio. The side pancakes were yummy too! We had a good time and appreciated coming here. We didn't realize that we had to pay by going up to the cashier as we noticed our waitress didn't come back with the check. We have noted this for next time as we really like this place! read more

We have visited HoneyBee twice now for breakfast. The staff is very courteous and friendly. Plenty of seating for a small restaurant, and our party of 4 had about a 3 minute wait. The kids loved their grilled cheese and fries! My wife and I had breakfast and felt that it was better than some other places we've been, but not quite as good as a few others. I'll start of by saying the server and staff were very friendly. My Denver omelette was very good stuffed full of goodness. Hash browns were a bit undercooked and bland. My hot chocolate was wonderful and well needed on a cold morning. I wasn't a fan of the lack of decor but happy to see they seem to have an ok business. I wish them luck! Embarked on a debut at the Honeybee Pancake House in St. John today. The ambiance, reminiscent of an arctic expedition base with its cold whites and grays, made me wonder if I had stumbled upon a pancake haven or a polar research station. Kudos to the bright white lights for turning up the chill factor. Service soared like a diligent worker bee--no qualms there. Alas, the hashbrowns played a minor chord in the symphony of flavors. In the gastronomic arena, when facing off with the likes of Avgo, one must wield a spatula with finesse. The hashbrowns, however, seemed more like an afterthought than a culinary masterpiece. Considering the formidable contenders in the dining landscape, the Honeybee might need a sprinkle of culinary pixie dust to beckon me back. Options elsewhere seem to sing a more harmonious tune. To return or not to return, that is the brunch-time conundrum. read more

We were seated right a way. We were asleep immediately if we wanted something to drink. They have a large and welcoming menu. The waitress's all work together as a team. We placed our orders and they came out of the kitchen in a timely manner. The portions were very large and they were perfectly made to order. The waitress asked us if everything was okay in a very timely manner, around five (5) minutes!!! The food was delicious. We thought the ambiance was very nice.
