Yelp Fam! It's me again! I've been to the airport more times this year than I'd like to admit, but I'm grateful for the adventure. Today, we're back in Indiana, but this time I'm reviewing Harry & Izzy's at the airport. I've seen this restaurant several times during my travels to Indiana, and each time I told myself I was going to try it. Well, that day finally came, and I did! I grabbed some food at the airport and took the rest home to enjoy for dinner (don't you dare judge me... lol). This review will be pretty quick. I opted for takeout and sat at my gate--the area is always a bit crowded, so I wanted more room. I took a look at the menu, and as much as I wanted to order seafood and steak (because I love a good meal, chile), I opted for the St. Elmo Prime Rib Sandwich. It was delicious! I'm not a fan of cold fries, so I ate those and saved the sandwich for when I got home. The service was amazing and attentive. Even in the short time I was there, they made me feel like a welcomed guest. I definitely recommend trying this place out. When I'm back in Indiana--and I know I will be--they'll see me again to try more items on the menu! read more

Best Shrimp Cocktail I've ever had. The Cocktail sauce is this thick spicy horseradish filled concoction served and served with large shrimp. Your sinuses will be cleared by the end. But I headed to Harry and Izzy's. I ordered a steak egg and cheese slider with a cup of Hubbard & Craven's coffee. I sat in a comfortable seat, watched the sunrise over the airplanes at their gates, and listened to good music. That sandwich is amazing. I don't eat a lot of meat, but when I do, I want it to be good. This sandwich is just that - good - actually better than good . I enjoyed the Bisque and although through my travels I have had better, this one was okay, and great if you're in a hurry to catch a flight. The Wedge was as you can imagine, a wedge of lettuce, sprinkled with bacon, with chopped tomatoes and served with their creamy gorgonzola dressing. I admit there was a bit too much dressing for my taste so I f I ever have this again I will ask for 'light on the dressing'. The positive take on Harry and Izzy's airport location is...If you're at the airport and getting close to boarding, order the easy-to-make things on the menu and you'll be okay. if you have time then order something more elaborate. The table next to us sat down after us and ordered after us, but received and FINISHED their meal before we even got ours! We were both parties of two that ordered an appetizer and an entre each. My party of two had only ordered one appetizer, a club sandwich, and a salad so it was nothing that would have been time consuming to make. As for the food, I'm divided. The drinks are a bit pricy, but the food is a little more reasonably priced. I ordered the prime steak burger which came with fries. It took about 20 minutes to get my food. The burger was picture perfect and I got a ton of fries. I got a margarita to wash down my food of course. The burger was a bit messy, but was still tasty. This restaurant is a decent spot, especially considering that there are not many options past the airport screening. I would not recommend it if you do not have a lot of time until your flight though. read more
