I was excited to see this store in the airport! I had planned to pick up a few souvenirs before flying back to the US. There are two sections for this store so don't miss them both! (I almost did!) One if mostly clothing and accessories. The other contains bags, candy, and many other treats. I purchased a cosmetic bag set and a small fabric tote bag. (I have received so many compliments on the tote bag since returning home!) They were reasonably priced and perfect for what I wanted. The cashier was extremely polite, friendly and helpful. Conveniently located in the terminal. Don't waste your time and energy going around London finding trinkets and knick knacks for your family and friends. Just get to the airport early and grab a few things from Harrod's. It looks nice as a present, they have a nice array of biscuits, teas, jams, fashion jewelry, stuffed animals for the younger ones, they even carry their perfumes. Great addition to the International Departing terminal. Saved me a lot of time and effort. Just bought everyone a nice box of biscuits, a wooden chest of teas, snacks(the chocolate covered raisins, jams, etc) and Paddington Bears for the kids. read more

Did you forget something and need to get something very "London" before you get on a plane? Good thing there is a Harrods in the terminal! It's a small shop that has pretty much has all the food selections and popular things people go to Harrods for and what they bring home. Here is the good thing it's in the international terminal so the prices are "lower" because the VAT is taken out of the price so the prices will be around 15% lower. read more

While in London, I had searched for some souvenirs for others and for myself. I couldn't find anything unique, so I figured I would be able to find some fun items at the airport. I had heard how Harrod's was famous in England. Crap, they are expensive! $20-$30 for a Harrod's bag or umbrella? Yikes! No thanks! I suppose some people don't blink at their high prices. Even if I were a millionaire, I would not spend that kind of money just to be seen there or say I had been there. read more

Oh Harrods. You have this aura of refinement, class and luxury surrounding your name. Yet your shop in Terminal 3 resembles nothing of the Harrods you would find in London. The shop is small, the aisles are difficult to navigate, and you can stuff yourself full of food, but you can't find a lot of their high end brands in stock with the kind of selection one would expect Harrods to have. Especially when all the other designers have excessive selection in the international terminals for this very reason. However, you will find that things are typically about 13-14% cheaper due to having a tax / VAT free system in the international terminal, and you can even buy a companion for your flight home, the Harrods bear! read more

Close to departure lounges in terminal 3. This is a small version of Harrod's in central London. Might not be as big, but not a bad size for an airport version. The selection is elegant and upper end. So it makes a good stop for special gifts or last minute purchase cravings. Surrounded by several nicer restaurants and bars. There are a lot of building works going on at Terminal 3 and Harrods has moved from its old location to replace one of the restaurants. I think the purpose of this store is for brand awareness. In the limited floor space, they can display a fraction of the goods available at the epnymous Knightsbridge tower of Mammon to consumerism. They have cleverly chosen trinkets, gifts and foodstuffs for tourists doing last minute gift shopping and spending their last few pounds. Mind you, they'd better have quite a few pounds left given the prices! read more

This is the tourist Harrods. It's not like going to the real place. However, that doesn't mean that what is here is any less quality. In the day, I used to have time to run by Harrods and pick up some Belgian chocolates on the way to the airport. These days I don't see to. While the chocolates at the airport are not quite as good, they beat anything of a similar style I can get in my market. The service was excellent. I think it's a great addition to the duty free area. read more

I have shopped here a number of times and really like it. It does have a lot of the touristy stuff you'd expect but the proces here are genuinely reduced and that gives it extra points from my point of view. The chocolates are reduced and so I can indulge in their delightful chocolate covered, cocoa dusted almonds which I just adore at a reduced price. I shopped here for tea, chocolates and love knots when my younger sister was getting married and saved a lot of cash. Too bad I also had shopped in the main shop and spent more! There are also some famous brands here so if you're saving for a special handbag and want to get it but are going somewhere international, save your cash and grab it before the flight! read more

This Harrod's, along with the wealth of other stores that make the terminal 3 waiting area a nice mall, is a great way to kill some time waiting on your flight. And .... its convenient as hell. When family and friends ask me to bring some gift or knick-knack home for them from my trip to Britain, this place provides a nice last minute option to accommodate the request. Even more, they give you the same shiny "Harrods" bag as they do at the flagship store in Knightsbridge allowing you to lie and tell your friends and family that you went our of your way for their cheesy souvenir. Nothing like spending a ton of money in the expensive town of London only to get stopped in the airport to spend some more money! I'm sure this place is great for last minute gifts or personal needs but I wasn't digging it. read more

BEWARE.....!!!!! Some, if not all shops and restaurants, at Heathrow use a third party to convert your pounds charge to a dollars charge before posting the dollars charge to your credit card. This is done at a 1.56 dollars per pound rate when the official rate is 1.12 dollars per pound. Pay the pounds in cash or get pounds at an ATM and then pay in cash. read more

Was really disappointed in the lack of customer thought - there is a sign 3 pens for price of 2 but not all pens in that section the ones next to the sign the ones in the middle but not the ones on the left - also same for key rings - I had asked assistant before shopping and was not advised don't pick the two containers on the left !! Just when I got to the counter - the same when I checked on the key rings I bought ah yeah not that key ring on the same rack - really ?? Is that just ridiculous - then why put them in the same location as the sign- and also why make you feel like an idiot when you have to check for the 3rd time as it doesn't make sense !! In the end I bought them pencils and gave up - just feed back as now I am sitting at terminal 5 exasperated that I have to shop in Dubai to get presents - thank you ( yes English first language so wasn't lack of understanding ) cheers Tracy read more
