Predator Business Practices -- Intentional Cancellation Runarounds!…read more Frontline Pest Services operates a predatory business model designed to trap customers in recurring billing cycles against their will. I attempted to cancel my extermination services multiple times well in advance, but every time I called, customer service reps refused to process the termination, instead giving me the runaround and transferring me to phantom departments that never answered or existed. Months later, they handed fraudulent post-cancellation charges over to aggressive debt collectors. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this scam of a company unless you want endless phone loops and bogus bills.

Frontline Pest Control is asking me to pay a $350 cancellation fee. However, the salesperson who…read moreconvinced me to sign the contract explicitly told me that the cancellation fee would only be $50. I would never have agreed to this contract if I had known the fee would actually be $350. In addition, I agreed to a contract for mouse treatment at my house. Instead, the salesperson enrolled me in a mosquito treatment plan without informing me. That deception is the reason I decided to cancel the contract. Now the company is demanding that I pay a $350 cancellation fee instead of the $50 I was promised. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company. Their sales practices are misleading, and I feel that I was deceived.

My favorite experience involved a pesky mouse problem we had in our kitchen...a lesser exterminator probably would have just kept putting down more traps and more poison. BioTech explained that you can and should seal off your kitchen so there are no holes large enough for a mouse to enter. They did this, but we kept seeing the mouse. They kept coming back (probably 5-6 times) at no extra charge, each time searching and finding an additional entry point. Eventually, they got them all, and we've never had a mouse since! Thanks, BioTech!

I think they may have canceled or rescheduled more appointments than they actually showed up for. Today was typical: a few months ago they told me they would come today between 10 and 12. I got an email yesterday confirming my appointment for today -- between 2 and 4. In the end it didn't matter because no one showed up. I texted them around 4:30 and about 20 minutes later they called and said that their technician would be late (yes: obviously, since he was already late). So now I went on ChatGPT and it looked at their invoice and explained exactly what DIY stuff I would need every 3-4 months to easily do exactly what I was paying BioTech to do, at one-tenth the price.

They have forgotten to come when scheduled, popped up when not scheduled, changed appts without notification. If you're not flexible with them, they'll say well that's how it is. I've canceled my service and will be using someone else moving forward. I also asked for a refund for this month since they are unable to service and was denied. Never trust a business who will take you money, make errors and lack flexibility to self correct errors. Never again because the monthly cost is actually too much for a service that's every other month and you MISS some months. Not the first time this has happened which means this is a habit.

Review for Lanes Termite Service Incorporated - 5 Stars…read more I cannot say enough good things about Lanes Termite Service Incorporated. This family-owned business has truly earned my deepest respect and highest recommendation. We recently experienced something terrifying--a massive swarm of flying termites at our front door. I'm talking thousands of them, buzzing around the entrance and creeping into the stairwell of our split-level home. I was absolutely shaken and didn't know what to do. I called Lanes Termite, and to my absolute relief, they were at our home in under an hour. Their professionalism, urgency, and kind demeanor instantly helped calm my nerves. They got straight to work without hesitation and handled the infestation with confidence and expertise--all for a very fair price. This isn't the first time Lanes has helped us--they previously handled a squirrel problem in our attic with the same care and professionalism. But this termite swarm had me truly panicked, and their quick response was nothing short of a blessing. What I love most about this company is that they've been serving families for over 40 years, and it shows. They bring not just experience, but a personal, trustworthy touch that's rare these days. You can tell they genuinely care. If you're looking for pest control you can trust with your home and peace of mind, look no further. Lanes Termite Service Incorporated is the absolute best. I would give them ten stars if I could!
