Adam was also extremely responsive to all of our communications, and he even came back for a follow-up visit when we were having some issues with our WiFi network connectivity. He of course solved our problem, and he didn't charge us a dime to do so. Last summer, we had a break-in at our condo entrance, and found a need for a Full Length Interlocking Door Guard. (Highly recommended as burglars love to shimmy a screwdriver between your door and lock & open into your place easier than a SPAM can.) Pro Video Security let us select the guard. They gave a great bid to put install. We even chose to do 2 doors, given their great rate. Flash forward to 6 months later we found a small (but significant) installation error on one of the doors. Rather than haggle and hassle, they came right out and fixed it at ZERO extra cost. (As expected.) On top of that: The fix came right on time. We caught this picture of a rather infamous trio (USPS is after them) trying to break in and being foiled by the door guard. SEE PIC.

I wanted to be able to keep a watch on the dogs and also of course on my house in general. I bought the equipment from Provideo and I am all the way in California, so I had a local person install the equipment for me, and Perry took over the remote customer service, which has been far above and beyond what anybody could ever expect from customer service. If anything goes wrong, he is right there ready to help me fix it and get it up and running again. I could probably find someone locally, but there is no way I would ever find such great, friendly, knowledgeable customer service. So wherever you are in the world, these guys are the best! Timely. Professional. Problem Solvers. Cost effective…read more But above all, excellent customer service. When there were issues with my lock, the professional (Chris) who served me went beyond the call of duty to solve the problem. The lock, which I had purchased online and not from Elmer & Sons, malfunctioned and caused my front door to jamb. Chris helped my wife and I get the door open and even came back another time to ensure the replacement lock was installed properly and without further complications. Even though this meant putting in a little extra time to get the job done--some of it possibly off-the-clock--he did not rest until our lock was functioning properly and we were satisfied. Later on that same day, my wife had challenges figuring out how to get the lock to function due to its security features. Being the professional he is, Chris swung by our home once again to demonstrate the security features of the lock and make sure she was in the know. As a small business owner, it is my opinion that the best companies to do business with are the ones that not only do good work but they know how to handle the inevitable bumps in the road that come up when dealing with customers. In this regard, great companies: (1) employ skilled professionals who are "bothered" when a job they work on does not meet their own or the customers expectations; (2) receive feedback from the customer about problems and respond professionally and not defensively; (3) set out to do whatever it takes to make things right within reason and occasionally even at their own expense (Napoleon Hill's Principle of Going the Extra Mile); (4) do what they say they're going to do; and (5) don't expect a pat on the back for doing what they said they were going to do. Elmer and Sons, and especially Chris, followed this formula to the letter. While I don't wish for any other lock issues anytime soon, undoubtedly, Elmer & Sons is who I'll call when the need arises. I highly recommend this company for any locksmith needs.
