Just finally completed all the windows in our home. We did them on 3 trips due to the cost and we…read moredidn't want to take a loan out. Windows cost a lot no matter where you go. It takes about 6-8 weeks once you order. We had problems with our install on 2 of the trips. The second install the guy left caulk in 2 spots on our hardwood floor. We never called about this because we are planning to resand them. This is very careless on his part because he did have tarps down. The 3rd install the guy who put one of the octagons in never leveled the window. So as they were ready to leave and my husband checked the work it was obviously off center without even placing a level. The guy fixed it before he left. Now that the work is done, we are happy. Windows are beautiful. Just make sure to check everything over before they leave.

This is a business that has been operating for years, but just hasn't been written up until…read morerecently. I think that is because they focused more on commercial business in the past, but they now are very big in residential. Auburn seems to focus on Marvin Windows ... wood, clad, and fiberglass ... they got you covered. Now keep in mind with Marvin that you have to bring your wallet. Marvin's are not cheap, but the rule "you get what you pay for" applies - they have quality stuff. You can buy cheaper, but you can't buy better. We have slowly been going through the house replacing all of our old windows - over 20 windows and they are 35 years old. We worked with Scott over the last three years, and were pleased every time. He is detailed and experienced. He and Auburn ordered the windows, and set us up with installers and finishers to complete the job. From start to finish, I couldn't give a higher recommendation to Auburn and Scott. We'll be back next year to finish our replacement job. Highly recommended.

They were customed stained and they did an amazing job with the staining. They were able to match the wood stain I currently have. A couple of years later I renovated my kitchen. I had a single entry back door and wanted to convert to a sliding door out to patio. My house is a brick home, and their installers were able to make the opening to fit a sliding door. They were able to match the door stain to my windows and everything looks perfect! The installers went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. They even went as far as to building temporary steps to lead to my outside patio. I will most definitely recommend them for your home window and door project!
