I look at them like a convenience store for hardware, household, and garden type items. I'm going to pay more money at Ace if I was too lazy, unprepared, desperate, or otherwise in a hurry to get my items at a big box store or on-line & mailed to my front door. It seems like 99 times out of 100 I can get the item cheaper at Menard's, Home Depot, Lowe's, Walmart, or on-line. But sometimes I'm in too big of a hurry and I didn't prepare ahead of time or order something on line. I have to say, the people are always very friendly and helpful. He again just stated it was outside the return policy. I found this very surprising, i would think they would jump at the chance to exchange it and notify the supplier. Not at all what i expected. I have been a great customer to boot, even bought their most expensive grill they sell, not anymore.
