Ordered a washer and dryer set on Sunday and they said it was in stock at another store and would deliver Tuesday. Received a text on Monday verifying delivery on Tuesday. Tuesday at 10:30am: No word, no show, so I called. AI bot said delivery was scheduled next week. Took forever to get past AI bot and phone rang a long time. Was told dryer was in but washer was not. Would not know when it would arrive from manufacturer so delivery is tentatively set for the next week. Took the day off and the door off for no reason. Was totally lied to by sales person and was not correctly informed of delivery by text. Do Not order from Lowe's. If it isn't ready to be picked up, you won't get it delivered when told you would be receiving your order. read more

I went to Lowes in Blaine to order some custom blinds and have them installed by Lowes. Their installer Atlas Installers didnt record all the measurements the first time resulting in them having to come out a second time. Then the order is placed and I was ripped off by not getting 5% off for using my Lowes card then will likely also not get points towards Lowes Cash. Blinds were delivered and the day they were supposed to be installed the installer noted that they needed spacers to clear the trim around my windows. I have spent the last 3 days getting the run around from Connor and Angela (Managers at Blaine) and also Lowes Installation Support. It is now Saturday and the spacers have still not shipped, and Lowes just wants to continue to give me the run around. I deeply regret not reading the reviews before purchasing a washer and dryer from Lowe's. My experience with the Blaine location has been a nightmare. Delivery was rescheduled four separate times; worse, my bank account was charged with every reschedule, resulting in overdraft issues and insufficient funds. To make matters worse, one delivery was a complete no-show, and when the units finally arrived, they were damaged. Despite having already paid for installation, the store attempted to charge me again upon delivery. The paperwork was a mess due to constant 'order changes' on their end. Customer service has been non-existent, offering only 'appeasement' after the damage was done rather than fixing the actual issues. If I weren't in desperate need of these appliances, I would cancel the order immediately. I will never shop at Lowe's again and strongly advise others to take their business elsewhere. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I had used this store almost every day for years. A couple months back a flooring employee decided to share one of my invoices with my customer who came in. That customer then called me and was upset because of what I charged them. I brought this up to leadership at the store and was told something would be done about it. Now this employee has been promoted to the Pro desk which is where I exclusively do my business as a business owner. I will not be back to this store or Lowes in general. They don't care about any privacy laws. One of the assistant managers called me to talk about my complaint, the one who originally took it and said they would not do anything about it and didn't care about losing business as the employee who broke the privacy laws was the best option. Horrible experience with flooring!!! First, I ordered a quick ship flooring item only for it to arrive after a month. Second, I was promised 2 week install, but hard to do if you didn't order the floor! Then when floor comes in, after I go in and inquire about it, they schedule an install but three installers don't have the necessary materials so they can't finish the job! Went to the Blaine Lowes and bought my first new lawn machine. We looked at 3 models and only one was I stock. Spent over an hour, hunting down a machine in stock, to sell ( lowes wont sell floor models) It was supposed to be delivered Saturday. Some one rear-ended the truck,so delivered was postponed to tomorrow. Today they called and pushed it back to maybe next Wednesday. They are waiting for the part to fix their equipment. Insurance? Looked for help in paint department and found no one. Used all button and it said no one could be located. Tried twice. Went up to returns counter and asked if I could get someone to help. They said yes and called over the intercom. Waited for a while and no one came. Went back to returns desk where there was now a second person just standing around. I ordered a stackable washer/dryer and they brought the wrong stacking kit so they left the new ones in garage and said they would come back. only silence after that. no call on when they would be back to fix, or what they were doing. we paid everything the day we bought it on Saturday and were TOLD it would be delivered on Monday. we spent 4 hours in the phone on Tuesday when we still had no answer on when they were coming to finish the job. talking to numerous people and no one knew any answers for such a simple question-when is someone coming to stack our appliances and finish the job we paid for already? Our refrigerator died over the weekend so to save time I went online to shop. Lowe's showed next day delivery so we placed our order. Fast forward to Monday morning still no fridge. I called and got an automated message saying that it would be delivered Tuesday. There were other places I could have bought from and gotten the same delivery Tuesday but Lowes said next day delivery. I would cancel but we really need a replacement. Lowe's you have lost us we are cutting up our cards as well.... I don't believe they care or bother to read any reviews but hopefully this keeps someone else from making the same mistake as we did. read more

Did you know Lowes only warranties their appliances for 2 days?? I purchased a frig from Lowes and 3 days later it stopped cooling. They said too bad, so sad and referred me back to the manufacturer Frigidaire who said their first repair appointment was in 11 days. So I waited. They worked on it and it cooled for a few days then nothing again. I've had 3 appointments now and it still doesn't work. I told Frigidaire I want a refund and they said we have to send someone else out. September 12 is my next date. It is unrepairable and unreliable and I want a refund!! This is the last time I'll wait for a repair person to do nothing. Worse customer service ever!! read more

To be fair, I am not a big fan of Lowe's. So, maybe this would be a higher rating if I were. (Or, maybe that would make it lower, because this location did seem particularly bad to me.) We have come here on two different occasions, and had similar experiences, but I'll lay them both out. First, we came for a wet/dry vac. Lowe's was the only place we found that even had any in stock, so we went there. We found someone to help us, and they insisted that they only had Shop Vac brand. We looked at them, didn't see anything we liked, and then found other brands on the end cap as we were leaving. I wouldn't mind, but this employee was very insistent that they only carry one brand. Well, we bought the wet/dry vac, and went on our way. Next, we came back to look at fridges. We didn't see anything we liked, but we stood and waited at the computer / phone area (workstation?) near the fridges for a minute to see if an employee would come. It wasn't busy, so I wasn't sure that there was someone assigned to this area. We didn't wait long, then I wandered a bit to find someone. We found an employee, in the stove area, sitting with their feet up playing on their phone. They would have seen us coming in, and surely heard us talking in the fridge section. How unprofessional! I decided not to even bother talking to them, and we left. We bought a fridge elsewhere. In addition, they have a table selling Girl Scout cookies inside the store. So, if you want to buy some Girl Scout cookies and are really pro-gender segregation, maybe this is the Lowe's for you. read more

The customer service person was rude, unhelpful, and before the end of the conversation she called my husband a liar and said she doesn't talk to liars when he said she had not been helpful. Obviously, there was tension in the conversation, however, under no circumstances should a customer service person call a customer a liar. Perhaps she could have politely said "I'm very sorry I cannot help you" in a sincere manner and then hung up. We will not frequent any Lowes' stores in the future. read more

My 80 year old father needed to buy a new bathroom fixture in order to help with some new health problems. He served 20 years in the United States military, and called to confirm he'd be eligible to receive the 10% discount. He was told yes. However, upon checkout at the store he was told they weren't allowed to apply the military discount because product was "at the lowest price it can go." However, Home Depot depot honors that lowest price and will also apply the military discount. Lowe's would not match that price. Way to support the troops and disabled veterans Lowe's! read more

I ordered some flooring, the estimators came over and didn't take accurate measurements, then the salesmen said I would have an experienced installer come to install the flooring, but instead, they sent someone that could not speak English and all they could say was "No Worries". I ordered my granite counter tops from Blaine Lowe's and the subcontractors they had come out to remove and install my new granite, were awful, they destroyed/crushed my lower KITCHEN cabinets when taking out the old counter tops. They also did not turn the water off in our bathroom when taking out the sink and flooded our basement! They left us without counter tops for months, because of the damage, we had to hire someone else to fix the damage, (Lowe's did reimburse us for the crushed counters but would not give us anything for the water damage!) for what they did to our cabinets. Then the granite company that Lowe's subcontracted to work with us closed its doors/went belly up! so we had NO granite, No contact person!, I called daily, No one called me to let me know, I had to figure that out myself when the company did not show to install my counter tops and stop answering phone calls. I even went to the store and the manager told me he was not allowed to help me anymore. It was a nightmare!! I cried a lot! Months went by, One company installed our counter tops and another our back splash so the granite does not match. Two different slabs! I have heard nothing from Lowe's have sent a ton of messages/pictures, talked with a ton of people said the same thing a thousand times and get no where! If you talk to this company it falls on deaf ears. I'm Sick every time I walk into my kitchen. I worked really hard and saved to have nice counter tops and its so sad! read more

I live too close to the other Borgs to ever really come here. However, they had a tool I needed that the others didn't have. They just didn't know it. I visited the areas the tool might be and talked with a disinterested employee. Having no luck, I stopped by customer service. They confirmed they had the tool in stock. Another employee in the same department proved more helpful and we doggedly tracked down the wayward tool. I appreciated the effort on his part. Its big, bright, and clean. A customer service employee named Lawrence made ours a 5 star visit. He was very helpful as we selected the tile for a home improvement project. He then located the tile (that came in very heavy boxes), and then loaded it on the cart for us. It was closing time when we checked out, and as we were loading our van, Lawrence, who by then was off duty, walked by. When he saw us, he stopped and helped us load the van. read more

What a circus this store is. I called and Frank was going to cal me back, he never did. I drove to the store, no one in appliances, Wendy came along and went in back, yes there were 3 freezers in stock, but she needed help getting it. Was different brand for same price beside the register, purchased that one. as a time savings. I really have no idea how this store stays in business. I saw so many employees slowly walking around it was like "we have job, we don't have to work" Many items without a price tag displayed. I wanted to get 1 set of blinds cut to a width of 28 inches. After arriving at the Blaine Lowe's at 1:15 PM today I asked the first employee I found to send someone over to help me. A couple of minutes later I heard the page for assistance in the blinds area. After 10 minutes, I called the store number to talk to this department. No one answered the phone for window coverings. I walked over to the checkout area where a checkout clerk paged for assistance again. At 1:45 I left Blaine Lowe's empty-handed and drove to Home Depot. Within 13 minutes after entering the Northtown Home Depot, I had my customs blinds cut to 28 inches in my hands. I never imagined buying blinds would turn into an 1.5 hour odyssey. read more

We loved our first Pella door so much, we finally decided to order one for the front door. It is not going well....we still don't have it installed, and it was ordered August 15th! And it's the wrong color. And they refuse to correct it. I They said the Pella paintline at the factory is closed because of covid. In our opinion, the new front door is slate grey, and we ordered BROWN. They keep insisting that it IS brown. We disagree on the actual color. It is also missing paint trimmed in a contrasting color. So it's still at Lowe's, where we ordered it. They offered me some money back and we can paint it ourselves. It will be below zero this week, we are not going to stand outside and paint our front door the color it's supposed to be. That we have already paid for. The door cost $6000. And I have to paint it myself? The customer service has been terrible! Few returned emails, few phone calls, they delayed the manufacturing and didn't tell us, then they came to install it and it wasn't painted the right color. This was verified by their own installers. Then it was delay, disagree about what color the door is, refuse to repaint it correctly, and then tell me we have to paint it ourselves because they aren't painting them right now, the paintline is closed down.. But I can get a discount on it. Even the transom glass is different than what we ordered, and they didn't tell me or ask permission to change it. I told the sales rep that we don't have a heated space to paint it ourselves at our home. She was going to see what she could do, and get back to me a few days ago. I am still waiting. I do not expect a satisfactory resolution to our dilemma, but I am still holding out hope for it. read more

When my newly installed carpeting did not match the tiny sample, lowe's bought paint/supplies for me as I had to repainted the rooms! Very good customer service. I did ask if they would but they seemed happy to help and apologized that the tiny carpet samples from the carpet company didn't accurately reflect the color! I don't feel they deserve my rating. I've spend a lot of money at that store. There customer service is horrible. I've made 3 big purchases and the first purchase I made the delivery guy caused a water damage onto my ceiling downstairs, which never got paid for because the contractor they had me contact never returned my calls. I just made another major purchase for my husband for Father's Day and he went to pick it up today and pick up was yesterday and they only half assembled it. They had my husband there waiting for an hour in a half waiting. Then I call to speak with management and another customer service person, all they do is make excuses that there store is going through stuff right. Consumers need to understand one thing- sales people tend to mirror their customers! If you go in hot headed and rude.. You'll probably get the same treatment. The savings were even better-I received a discounted price on the custom order, a rebate card on my purchase, and a discount on the door installation! I had a deck installed by Lowes almost a year ago. I was hesitant to use them because they contract their work out, but was reassured by the salesman that Lowes will stand behind it. The deck turned out well, except my estimate and contract said they would pour a new cement landing at the bottom of the stairs, but the contractor did not. When I asked him about it he said it was too late in the year, it was late Nov. to pour the cement and he would return in spring. Spring arrived, I called the contractor, who now no longer works for Lowes and was told to contact the store, which I did. I went their paperwork in hand and talked to someone in the installation department. He said he would talk to his manager who was a lunch and call me soon. Weeks went by, I called the store, no return call, called the store no return call. So here I am with Lowes not standing behind what I paid for! read more

This specific store just can't figured out how to do customer service. The young lady working the service desk was nice and attempted to help remedy the issue but it ended up requiring escalation. The Manager who was called, was condescending and generally annoyed that she had to come out and talk to a customer.
