The washing machine stopped working, not locking or dispensing water. I was under the impression I would have to replace it if the repair cost was going to be outrageous. The technician came on Monday morning as agreed, diagnosed the issue, and returned again the very next day to replace the part and do the work as agreed on Monday after the diagnosis. The value of the repair was good since I was concerned I would have to replace the washing machine with a new one. Luckily, that was not necessary. I will definitely be using Hal Fix again in the future and will recommend it to anyone who needs a washing machine repair! My washing machine works as new again (though it was only 2 years old to begin with, but the warranty expired!).

After I explained what the problem was he asked me what different buttons were for on the machine. The machine was not draining but he never even attempted to inspect the drain hose. He didn't take out one tool or do anything at all. After just a few minutes he said he thought I needed a new transmission (the machine doesn't have a transmission). He said he needed to do some research to see if it was cheaper to buy a new machine or to make the repair. I haven't heard from him since. I don't mind paying a trip charge but isn't it fair to expect some attempt at repair or plan of action in exchange? Why would anyone pay to have someone just come and look but not offer a service? This company installed a furnace in my house right before I bought it. The condensation caused a problem in the furnace which stopped up my whole system. I called the guy about it and he was very rude. I was confused and said the condensation was from the AC and he was very rude about it not being his problem even though he didn't install the piece just sitting inside the furnace. Now I've had another company leave a message for me letting him know that it's not from the AC, but the furnace vent, because he will not answer my phone call. Yes I gave him some choice words. My experience with Michael "Hank" Lytran was not positive. He provided and I paid him for a…read morediagnostic on my refrigerator. I purchased and installed a water valve, the part he recommended. It did not fix the problem - the ice maker still did not work. I contacted Michael three times asking for assistance to further address the problem. He did not follow up, nor did he reimburse for the service call. On a related note, I watched as Michael "tested" the water valve. After the fact and when I did my own research on how to test a water valve, I learned that Michael did it incorrectly - he did not place the multimeter leads on the appropriate terminals. When I did it correctly, I found out that my water valve was still functional. In other words, something else was the cause of the problem. I am most dissatisfied with Michael's failure to follow up with me. He writes about his business, "Honesty and customer satisfaction are my number one goal." He did not live up to this promise with me.
