Hal Fix did not disappoint! My appointment was scheduled by phone on a Friday afternoon for Monday morning since weekends were not available. The washing machine stopped working, not locking or dispensing water. I was under the impression I would have to replace it if the repair cost was going to be outrageous. The technician came on Monday morning as agreed, diagnosed the issue, and returned again the very next day to replace the part and do the work as agreed on Monday after the diagnosis. The value of the repair was good since I was concerned I would have to replace the washing machine with a new one. Luckily, that was not necessary. I will definitely be using Hal Fix again in the future and will recommend it to anyone who needs a washing machine repair! My washing machine works as new again (though it was only 2 years old to begin with, but the warranty expired!). read more

Eugene is very experienced and talented, to fix and find the problem with my dryerso quickly! But his comment that it was, "just a belt replacement." Simple fix, but I was shocked by charge of an additional $180.00 on top of the $99 service fee? I thought it twas to go toward the cost of the belt!? HAL inc did not disappoint! Easy scheduling online (after hours) and was able to pick a date/time that worked for my schedule. Eugene called 1/2 hour before the time window to let me know he was on the way. When he arrived he got right down to business. Within an hour he had it diagnosed and troubleshot and a quote for repair. Another hour later it was up and running. Saved me the unexpected cost of replacing the dryer. Eugene was kind. He answered all my questions. When he was done, you couldn't even tell that he had to pull apart the unit. Everything was back in place and tidy as can be. I used this company once to fix my dryer. First I was glad that he was able to fix my dryer the next day. He told me that I needed to replace five wheels that were making squealing noises for $250. I agreed with the idea. Then, he billed me $250 for lubricating five wheels. He obviosly lied about the service and not being honest. I would not trust the service nor I recomend this company to anyone. read more

The guy that came over to take a look at our dryer was quiet, but nice. I later found out as I was asking him questions that he didn't know too much English. This is fine, but I wish there was some transparency on this fact by the business so I could think about if I want to hire people in actually able to communicate to or not when I have questions come up that relate to the dryer issue. The guy was honest with me though and recommended I just buy a new dryer since the part that needed to be replaced was pretty expensive and not worth it. All in all, the service was good but I'd like to see or hear about anything like a language barrier before actually booking and and paying for an appointment. Some customers may have lots of questions to ask about the appliance and service itself. Google translate was our main communication method, and I ended up learning how to say "Thank you" in his language for fun. read more

Refused to provide information prior scheduling appointment as if they were trying to hide something. Untrustworthy. The below reply is unfounded. He admitted his fault and even blame it on his receptionist for being new. I told him as well as to his receptionist this was a job at a government site, which needed security clearance. Good opportunity for them. He then called me a scammer and refused to give me any information. From the beginning of the conversation, he knew this job was for a commercial appliance and he even shared his rate for commercial. Complete waste of time. read more
