I sent the make and model number of my double wall oven in with my request. The tech arrived and seemed clueless about how to service this specific Kenmore model. After struggling to get the 300+ pound unit out of the cabinet by himself he obviously was unable to troubleshoot the issue and just went ahead disassembling every panel on the unit looking for access to the prepare element which ended up being accessed from the from of the unit. After destroying it to get it removed he suggested getting a new one. Next he visually looked at the control board and said it looked fine but still recommended replacing it with a board from ebay. He did not have any electronic troubleshooting equipment. At the end of this I asked the tech to put the oven back in place so we could at least use our cook top since it was on the same breaker as the oven. He taped some wires on the oven and said we should be able to turn on the breaker to use the cook top. Well, of couse the breaker kept tripping. I had him fully disconnect the oven and still the breaker kept tripping. He said he had no clue and threw up his hands. I kicked him out of the house and had to call an electrician. So at the end we paid an electrician and had to purchase a new double wall oven. I would NOT recomnend Hal Fix read more
