Sometimes the difficulties we have with fast food service are partly of our own making. "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." Years of exasperation with folks that step up to order with no clue what they want and therefore take forty forevers to order (this is fast food, right?) ... and years of ordering what a picky eater wants have led me to be prepared to order when called on and to be very specific about the order. When I then have to repeat things I have just said, I probably cop a little attitude in my voice when I repeat myself. They were supposed to be paying attention to me when I ordered, right? I order the Beyond sausage burrito combo and when she hands me my cup, it is a soda cup. Oh boy, it's 8:30 am. I tell her I want coffee and she tells me I should have told her that. ???? Had to stop myself from saying "You didn't ask me what I wanted." It's 8:30 am. Who gets soda with their breakfast? Well, maybe my wife. :-) Next time I'll be sure to specify what I want to drink for breakfast along with all the other specifics I give with my order. This is not going well at all. As a result of my tone I get a "no" when I ask if they have "salsa" packets for the burrito. ("My wife says I have tone issues "-Ronny Chieng, comedian). Once I sit down, I remember that some time ago Hardee's added a duality to their stores (Red something or other...Burrito maybe?) and they have tacos and the like. Surely they have some kind of salsa or sauce for those. They bring my order to me and after the first bite I am sure I am going to need something to wet down this burrito because that Beyond sausage has no fat to lubricate things, the eggs are not moist and the cheese has not melted. I know they at least have mustard. Back up to the counter I go and this time I talk to a different person. Turns out they have "picante sauce" packets. Well, isn't that instructive. Moral of the story: If I hadn't copped a tone when I had to repeat my order... and if the counterperson hadn't gotten defensive in response to my tone, both of us would have had a better morning. I think there is a lesson for 2 here. This Hardee's was a welcome addition to the area when it first opened many years ago. Used to come here more often, but now it's mostly when I am going shopping at Publix and I need to quell my hunger before I grocery shop. The food is ok and the service is usually good. It is an easy in and out on an outparcel of the Publix shopping center. P.S. I have tried the Beyond burger and it is a tasty substitute for a beef burger. The Beyond sausage is not a tasty substitute for a pork sausage patty. read more

Haven't had Hardee's in awhile and decided to get a few items for lunch. The burgers were pretty decent. I really liked the bun quality. The mushroom and swiss was more salty than I remember. Fries were old though. Overall it is a good place for fast food. But the prices make alot of the fast food here seem unjustified for what you get. The staff was polite. read more

I went yesterday for breakfast and tried the new breakfast burger, when i tell you it was absolutely delicious, it was absolutely delicious!!! I was a little skeptical but glad i took a chance. The restaurant is so clean, especially the bathrooms and lobby. I was greeted as soon as i walked in, the smile was contagious, i think her name was Wanda. She almost made me buy half the menu. Overall wonderful visit, which is quite rare in fast food places presently. I'll definitely be back. read more

Meet angry Jackie, pre-retiree, and Hardee's worst employee of the month that missed proper home training back in her day. Jackie's customer friends tried to physically intimidate me while I was waiting for my food caused me to pause and get out of the store before they tried to jump me outside. I simply asked Jackie if she could add a little extra icing on my Strawberry Lemon Biscuits. Jackie told me next time to use the app. I apologized and said I didn't see it. Apparently Jackie values Hardee's icing and the extreme loss her store faces over giving extra icing because she had to get her jab in, instead of simply letting it go. Jackie said because they charge on the app and they have to charge us because she's running a business (and I guess not a charity??) I told her I thought that was petty more so because she could have just asked me to pay and this situation would have turned out completely different. Jackie must feed on getting the last word in; negative nellie true to form. Everything I said to Jackie, she had a rebuttal. I encourage management to give her an assignment to read. "Raving Fans." I started my career in customer service just a mile down the road some almost 30 years ago and I guess the way I was raised to treat people as I would want to be treated came naturally. Common sense told me Customers are what pays the bills. Jackie mentioned in one of her numerous negative comments that Hardee's pays her bills so you see, right there, that is Jackie's problem. She just doesn't get business and customer service in its most simple form. Jackie asked if I had so many problems at her store, why did I keep coming back? I actually had stoped going for almost year until recently for the same pettiness and sorry attitudes. Not sure why I even tried to explain to her, she either had something against me from the moment I came in or mistreats all customers. She told me I was rude yet she couldn't stop her jaw from moving long to realize she was purposely antagonizing me because I guess, she was having a bad day or dislikes everyone that looks different than her?? I accept the fact that I did get rude and I'm embarrassed I let myself go there but this world is under so much anger and hate. The last thing I expect is for the person whom I go to for business to treat me as though they are doing me a favor. All that and that food went right in trash from disgust and an anxiety attack I could have lived without. Hardee's please do better, pay better if you want the business. Empower employees on how to resolve situations and not escalate them through mere ignorance. read more

On Friday nights, the drive through is supposed to close at 10 PM. I came by at 9:13 PM and she told me that they were already closed and they would not serve me. read more

The manager Tammy is an incompetent idiot incapable of taking an order. The imbecile must also have hearing problems or not know what sausage is. Gerald was very helpful though despite the poor management. read more

Came in to order a western bacon cheeseburger meal. Was told didn't have onion rings. Ordered anyway with fries. When order came up asked for ketchup and bbq sauce. Was told didn't have either. What kind of burger place doesn't have what you order and doesn't tell you up front? When I got home there were onion rings on my burger. I can assume they lied about not having onion rings and would have to assume they lied about not having condiments. Totally worthless location and will now always avoid to choose somewhere that appreciates a customer that brings business and revenue to their location. read more

Staff are consistently rude. Service is often very slow. This location is relatively close to my house, but every time I try to give it another chance, I come away disappointed. Food is okay quality. Avoid this place like the plague in the rain if using the drive thru. There is no cover above the speaker, and with as slow as their staff is, they'll make you sit with rain pouring in your car - just to tell you to wait even longer before they take your order. I tend to enjoy Hardee's burgers, but this is hands down the worst location I've ever visited. Since the Sonic in the same parking lot closed, this is the only fast food within a mile, but it's worth the extra distance to get better service closer to town. I don't recommend giving these people your money. You're better off getting food at the Publix Deli in the same shopping center; you'll almost always have a better experience. I would also point out that there are several negative reviews here that are not counted in the score. Their star rating would be even lower if those reviews were counted. read more

Bad experience. First of all, they were out of prime rib biscuits, so I ordered 4 loaded omelet biscuits, got home and there were only 3 in the bag. I called and the manager only said, "I'm sorry". No offers to replace or anything. Secondly, the loaded omelet biscuits were NOT loaded. Hardly any meat at all and the biscuits were greasy. Ugh. Finally, the hash rounds were cold. Bad experience. read more

Came in for 2 Superstar meals March 9th around 9pm and it was BUSSIN best burger I ever had from Hardee's or Carl's. Straight gas. Will recommend to anyone craving a good charbroiled burger. Great service! read more

Why is there only one Hardee's in Tallahassee? After all, Hardee's has the absolute best breakfast in fast food AND better-than-average burgers and fries at a reasonable cost to boot! This Hardee's has also been co-branded with Red Burrito, which is what served as the impetus for my visit. Red Burrito is like a higher-quality Taco Bell menu, and I really enjoyed my burrito, which came with a side of tortilla chips and pico de gallo (which was actually good, and I hate pico) as well as a very fun fried tortilla bowl filled with refried beans. Not bad for under $7.00! read more

Cons and Pros Decent service for a fast food place. Only visited this location one time to be fair but I wasn't impressed. However, going through the drive thru, the food was very hot and fresh with very little grease. Definitely not the first place to go to frequently but.. I will swing by again when a craving comes. read more

I go to this hardees at least once a week. For the most part the food is consistently pretty good. I love the fact that Hardee's uses real meat in their burgers. Service is decent, just like any other fast food joint. My meal of choice is the brown bag special. read more

Hardee's - Great fast service - Fast Food Near Me - Tallahassee, Florida

Hardee's almost never disappoints! Most importantly, fast service and hot food. Today I had the smoked sausage breakfast sandwich. All elements of the sandwich were cooked great and it did not seem to be a reheated sandwich like most fast food restaurants will do. Although it was good, I don't think I'll get it again. I didn't care for the flavor of the sausage. I do recommend this particular Hardee's and for you to try this sandwich meal. read more

This is my favorite place to eat and the burgers are great and never under toasted or dried out.

Three times I have come here and 3 times my Oder has been screwed up in some way. I made a corporate complaint the other time. The straw that finally broke the camels back today was that the woman in drive through short changed me and then couldn't count the difference she short changed me. So I git short changed twice in one transaction. Then I didn't even get my whole order and had to drive back to wait in line inside to get the rest of my order. With 5 mins left of my lunch, I got back to work and had to let my food go to waste! I WILL NEVER GIVE THIS ESTABLISHMENT ANOTHER DIME! And IM REPORTING YOU TO DBPR!!! read more

Dirty. Floors are filthy, with dirt and food bits lying atop a gray, nasty film that you can feel through your shoes. It looks even worse behind the counter. The cashier never once looked at me while taking my order, though she did get it right. Ham sandwich was cold in the center, couldn't finish it. Won't be back to this location. read more

This was my first time eating a Hardee's burger, their are not any locations where I live. After seeing commercial after commercial I final had the chance to try a meal from the chain. I'm sure all locations are different, but the cold , slopped together creation I received was definitely not what I expected. Don't make the same mistake that I did, check your food and make sure it isn't thrown together left over slop.. read more

This is not the first time that we have gone here and they got our entire order completely wrong. All I wanted was two plain cheeseburgers. I got 2 burgers with EVERYTHING BUT CHEESE. My husband wanted no lettuce and they messed that up too. A waste of money and time. Not to mention a manager and an employee were screaming at each other the entire time we were waiting. I love Hardee's food, but this location shames the name. read more

That was the worst fastfood experience ive ever experienced, the girl in the window taking orders was the rudest most most unpleasant person ive ever met, it took over 20 mins after being told too pull forward and when we finally got out food it was cold and disgusting! The only time we usually step foot in a fast food joint is for breakfast, or because we are on the road with the dogs. We go to Hardee's because they have really, really, really good sausage biscuits. Oh, and because they are cleaner than McDonald's. Their service is also better than all of the McDonald's in Tallahassee, so yes, we practically drive to Havana to get a sausage biscuit about once a week. The sausage is slightly spicy, the biscuit is firm, large and tasty, and it is a heavenly combination of carbs, calories, and fat grams. Yes, I know exactly how many calories are in one of these nightmares. And I love them. Once a week. My one complaint is that their coffee is lousy. It's kind of like brown water. So I usually end up bringing a mug of my Nantucket blend from home, or swinging by McDonald's for a large cup if we have time. Hardee's you could take ONE lesson from McDonald's and improve your coffee. But don't touch that sausage biscuit. read more

I always loved Hardee's and was very excited for their arrival back to Tallahassee, but I have to say my Frisco burger was NOT hot, bread wasn't toasted very well and too much mayo. With that being said... I do plan to go back and give them another chance. being a new store I imagine they still have to find the balance. So Hardees if you are looking MAKE SURE YOUR FOOD IS HOT! read more
