Man, let me tell you about my Hardee's experience. So me and my brother were heading to Savannah, we're picking up checks, we're getting paperwork done, typical sort of thing. We decide on the way out of town, we'll stop by Hardee's, because that Frisco Thickburger is calling my name. We see some people waiting around for their orders, but they don't seem too busy. Anywho, we order our food, "for here," and go sit down at a nearby table. It's around this time we notice the beginnings of a rumbling. We're sat at a table across from a young man and his son, and an older man towards the wall. The other 10 or so people in the restaurant are standing, looking generally impatient. One of the standing goes to the counter, immediately asking the person behind the counter to speak to a manager. You know that saying "the straw that broke the camel's back?" This man, this solitary snowflake, had no idea the avalanche he would soon cause. "Well, I'm the manager on duty here sir. I'm sorry for the wait." -"Fine then, I'd like to speak to the DISTRICT manager." "We'd be happy to refund you. We're just a bit shortstaffed today" -"Yes. I have been waiting for 20 minutes, this is f**king ridiculous." At this point, the angry customer storms out. The young boy looks at his father, who solemnly shakes his head and points to his son's fries, urging him to continue eating. At this point, an older lady starts mumbling to another in their large group. "You should go say something. This is taking forever." Vague mumblings are exchanged. I just unlocked a bonus on a game for my phone. Naturally, I tune out. 30 seconds later, a temptuous roar begins to crescendo... Started as as a grumble of annoyance, and escalating quickly to a vicious roar, I overheard "I said, what the FUCK is taking so long? Y'all don't know how to do your fucking JOBS HERE!?" "Ma'am, I'm very sorry. I you'd like a refund, we can do that for you." "NO. I WANT MY GODDAMN FOOD. Y'ALL DUMB MOTHERFUCKERS WASTING MY TIME." The counter person mumbles something under his breath. "WHAT THE FUCK DID HE JUST SAY!? SMARTASS MOTHERFUCKER YOU GOT SOMETHING TO SAY!?" "I said, you NEED to calm the FUCK down, lady." The next 90 seconds or so were a complete blur to me. Customer throws a drink at counter guy. Manager tries to get in between it. Counter guy grabs a drink from under the counter and throws it back. Customer and son start to throw vague slaps at counter guy. Someone from another group of customers throws another drink at counter guy. The man at the table and his son leave quietly. The old man continues his meal, shaking his head. Someone throws a wet floor cone at the counter guy. Counter guy catches it in the air, throws it back... DEFLECTED! It hits a teenager (who is just trying to film the whole thing for Worldstar) in the forehead. She begins wailing. Another wet floor cone enters the fray. It knocks the emergency exit sign straight out of the drop ceiling roof. The manager, screaming profusely at no one in particular, begins to usher everyone out. Someone calls the cops. I light a cigarette. During our time outside, my brother and I discuss whether we think our food got thrown or not. We saw some chicken patties, but we were there for the thickburgers, and we knew it. About 5 minutes pass, and the instigators have loaded up into various SUVs and Transit vans to make their escape. The manager comes back outside, and asks if we've gotten our food. We say no, and she offers us a refund. "Well... I mean... we're really hungry though." We go back inside. The old man is finishing his burger still. Hasn't moved an inch. He has seen the horrors of fast food war before. He is unphased. Truly a sentinel of the wild world of Savannah Hardee's. "Did y'all get jalapeno poppers?" -"JUST GIVE THEM ALL OF IT. WHO CARES." Frisco burger was a bit heavy on the mayo, and they forgot my fries, but the burger was good, and who doesn't love free jalapeno poppers? 8/10. read more

The service here was impeccable! This was the first time that I have ever been to hardee's in Savannah. The drive thru was fast, they got my order right and people were super polite. They even gave me enough napkins. Sadly I didn't enjoy my meal. I guess I will have to stick with their breakfast. read more

Only 2 men younger men working. We watched the drive thru timer, it took over 7 minutes for us to even place an order because the man running the drive thru was working on getting the food ready for the window and no one else was to be seen. He saw us standing at the counter but never acknowledged us. It took over 10 minutes for our food to be prepared after waiting about 10 mins to even place an order. There's no wonder that it took that long considering only two people working but WHY are only two people working? The only positive was that the facility was clean. Bathrooms were okay. After getting in the car with our meals the chili dog we ordered was just a burnt hot dog in a dry crunchy bun. Additionally the cookies were burnt, dark brown, and hard. read more

Omg!! No one in line but us. Took 10 minutes after honking and calling into the speaker before someone answered. No chicken which was the first thing we ordered. Then repeated the order back to us wrong. 15.00 for two sandwiches, one order of fries and one large drink. Asked us if we had a different order in the 10 seconds to drive to the window (we were the only customers). Then came back to the window and told us to have a good night without giving us our food. Then had to run around to find the bag of food he thought he gave us. While the only other employee with two feet long dreadlocks not in a hair net was trying to "fix" his hair looking at his reflection in chrome counter??!! Come on America.... Great employees, completely nightmarishy under staffed. Took 45m to get my food, and the entire situation was utter chaos for everyone involved. Whoever runs this place in a evil tyrant for what they put the employees through, I hope the employees rise up and French revolution the owner. read more

Been in the drive thru for like 20+ minutes now. Told they had a bunch of people inside and that they were short handed and only had 5 people inside - which is unfortunate I understand. However, I thought the whole purpose of a drive thru was faster service. Shouldn't you serve your customers in order of who arrived first? If you're this short on help you need to put up a sign in drive thru that says "Come inside for faster service" or LITERALLY ANYTHING. read more

This should be a zero. RJ and I wanted a sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on an Auntie Anne's soft pretzel roll. We went through the drive-thru and they had trouble getting our order right. They gave us someone else's drinks, and didn't give us cream for the coffee. We finally got our sandwiches and they were a soggy, tasteless mess. They do not even remotely resemble the menu, ads, or commercials. Auntie Anne's should be embarrassed to be associated with Hardee's. Worst sandwich and worst roll we've had. read more

I rarely post reviews but this was so unbelievably bad, I can't let them get away with it. We went inside to order to go because we were on a road trip and also had to use the restrooms. I am not exaggerating when I say we waited for at least 30 minutes to get our food. Everyone inside waited for a long time. Somehow they were able to serve the drive thru. Very inept employees and manager. Only bright spot was Angel, who was trying to jump In everywhere and was clearly embarrassed. Giving one star only because Yelp makes me give a star. read more

All Hardee's are pretty much the same food wise, and this one is no different. The real issue here is the service. Either the employees don't care, or they are super understaffed. After talking with the drive thru person, they only have 4 people working on the Sunday after St. Patrick's Day. That's bad management. So to Hardee's corporate and the franchise owner, you lost at least 8 sales while I was waiting in line. If your reading this, do yourself a favor and take the extra 5 min to go to the one in Richmond Hill. Doesn't seem to be the same owner, because that one actually has people there working. You will also actually save time because you won't be waiting in line for 30 min. read more

This has to have been the WORST fast food experience of my ENTIRE LIFE. The staff didn't seem to care that everyone was waiting and were taking their time putting the food out. The soda machine was broken and there was a giant sticky puddle around it-- yet no one even attempted to clean it up. Our two sandwiches took THIRTY MINUTES to come out. No apologies, no nothing. And then they were cold. Once again, no apologies. Horrible service, horrible food and horrible staff. I won't be returning to this location or any other Hardee's ever again. read more

Management seems not to care!!! This is not up to Hardee's standards. We eat at Hardee's when we travel because we like the tasty burgers and fries. This location got the order wrong, gave less than tasty beef, pickles lumped on, tasteless tomatoes, very small fries, very very slow service, incorrect order, and no receipt (their printer for in-store orders was out and it could be transferred to another printer). They were friendly, just not good at their job. The men's room toilet paper roll was on top of the empty dispenser, which isn't especially sanitary. I think they don't care about their jobs. Since there was no receipt I asked for the store number and it took nearly a minute for them to find it. Try another location. read more

Food was typical Hardee's. At 2 pm they said they did not have time to make sweat tea yet. Bathrooms (men's and women's) were both very dirty. Urinal was out of order and soap dispensers empty. At least the dining area looked clean. read more

My daughter and I went there for lunch today and waited almost a half-hour in line to order and waited over another half-hour for our food. Plus, I'm pretty sure three other customers who were behind us in line got thier food before we did. Ordered the new(at the time) southwestern patty. For a while I wanted to try this sandwich. I ordered my sandwich the girl was VERY polite paid for my food no problem she then asked me to pull up and my food would be out shortly. I do that. 10 minutes later I received my order I drive off. I'm on the road hungry open my sandwich and that's just what I had a sandwich!! The bread wasn't toasted and the meat was cold! I basically had a cheeseburger on cold Texas toast. My experience here was HORRIBLE today. The girl that took our drive-through order was extremely rude and snappy. She said that the "customer isn't always right." She openly blames management for the issues of the store. When asked if there was coffee available she rudely said no and when asked why they do not have coffee all day she said, " I don't drink coffee so it isn't my problem. If people got a problem with that then they need to go to Walmart and cook they own food." I get she is just a child and it was apparently her 5th day but for her to openly talk about her management being the reason for all the issues of the store and rudely tell people it isn't her problem is a poor reflection of the store. One of absolutely most atrocious and despicable establishments I ever set foot in, I ordered ten piece tenders and gave them a coupon for $7.99, they somehow messed it up and said I had to pay a full $9.99 for ten mediocre tenders, they then refused the refund I asked for, so I had to call the manager and told them what happened before I could get my refund back. That's just ridiculous, on another order I took was a combo, no cup was given until I actually asked for it. It's a combo! This place is just horrible. read more

When a third employee asked if we had been waited on and we replied no, the ones chatting in front of us acted as of it was an inconvenience to do their job. This place is horrible!!! Lets start with the rude staff, it took about 10 minutes for someone to come to the counter. During that time there were employees hanging out in the booths and yelling across the store " Ay, ay, y'all got 2 people out heya". 0 stars if I could. First, we asked for coke and got diet tasting coke, we had them give us something different. Then, the burgers were messed up so we told who I assume was the cook that made it and she gave us a nasty attitude. They had us pay $1 for one bacon strip that they messed up on. We even got pulled up to wait for 1 slice of bacon, which is when I tasted the fries. The fries were not at all fresh and were stale. First and last time eating at Hardee's. In the middle of our long road trip from Florida to New York, we were ready for a pit stop. We decided this Hardee's location in Savannah because it was right off 95 and not something you can get in Western New York. Was that ever a mistake! We placed two separate orders and the gentleman working the counter gave us our two table numbers and said he would bring it out to our table when it was ready. Our orders were taken at 5:07 PM and there were a couple other families in the dining room. But, no one else at the counter. The first order came out within 5 minutes but it was missing one combo meal out of four total (chicken sandwich combo to be exact). We took our receipt back to the counter and told the gentleman working the register what we were missing. He said he would bring it right out. After 20 minutes (5:27 PM) the missing combo and our second order had not come out yet. We again went back to the counter. He insisted it was coming right then and for us to have a seat. We decided to stand at the counter. At 5:35 PM the second order had finally come out but not the missing chicken sandwich combo. At this time we asked again he said it's coming we had to drop the chicken. At this point the "shift lead" came out from the kitchen and was asking the cashier what he needed and insisting she had already sent it out. So now after 28 minutes the items were still not being made. After some arguing between the cashier and shift lead, she asked him to go in the back and make the sandwich. At 5:40 PM our missing combo had finally been made and given to us. This is the absolute worst customer service I have witnessed. Not only was it the slowest and most disorganized, the staff was not apologetic in any regard. Would not recommend this location to anyone. It's sad to see how little the workers care and how little the owner cares judging by the amount of negative comments left here on YELP. Something needs to be done. read more
