If I could give this Hardee's Minus stars I would. First it took almost 15 minutes for " Susan C " the Cashier Finally acknowledged my self and my two companions. She was already stressed and had a major negative attitude . She didn't want to be bothered . She barely gave us time to place our order which she got wrong we were ordering breakfast products she placed the order got lunch products . She wasn't listening as I say she was obviously in a bad mood and overly stressed . When we saw the order and the bill and we disputed it. This place is a hot mess! My wife and I stopped yesterday for lunch and it was a horrible experience. I have lead Marines into Iraq and that was more organized that the two burger meals that I ordered. The manager was putting the burgers together and was yelling at her employees that were trying to keep things organized. After 20 minutes of standing there, and watching all the orders placed after mine come out, I finally got my order. As soon as my wife opened the wrapper to her burger, a noticeable black hare was on her burger. As that doesn't faze me, she refused to eat anything. As many other fast food locations, this is convenient to stop at, while traveling north or south on I-95 through Savannah, thus the reason for our stop at this location. I believe I have made the effort to review this location positively before, and it is worth repeating...this is the best Hardee's I have ever been to. The restrooms require a code to enter, so they are kept clean and neat. The employees are nice and appear to be "proud" to be working at this location. The store itself is clean and efficient. But top of the list...the french fries are fresh. When I made a comment to the employee about how good they are, she (Susan C) responded that they change the oil often...well, it shows. The cashier seemed very confused with our order ... and was sighing and exasperated that we were there to order food. Very odd... a smile would be nice ... or even a look. Topped up gas at BP station next to Hardee's. Thought maybe a quick and easy lunch at Hardee's may be a good idea. No, it was a bad idea. A very bad idea. I got a little too excited when I saw Mocha Chocolate Shake. Can you blame me when the picture of those shakes look so appealing?? The staff then burst my bubble of having some yummy shake by informing they ran out of chocolate. Huh? What? :( Ok, I would take a Strawberry Shake then. I also ordered a Swiss & Mushroom burger and onion rings. Then the same staff informed that unfortunately they too ran out of the ingredient making Strawberry Shake :( Really? What's worse than not having the milkshake I wanted? Burger was just mediocre as expected. The onion rings were greasy. The Vanilla Milkshake tasted so weird. The staffs clearly need a class in cleaning 101. I do not expect the bathroom to smell of diptyque or 100% sparkling clean like in a bathroom in Conrad Bali. Pulled into drive thru they asked for my order. I said my entire order then it was a minute when another person asked for me to repeat it. I ordered an egg biscuit, 2 blueberry biscuits & sm coke. Got to window she tried giving me Diet Coke. Then got my order & drove away. Got to my hotel to eat & did NOT get blueberry biscuits I got 2 cinnamon rolls. The heavy set woman with short gray hair is a nasty person! My father who has prostate cancer that is on his way to treatment (been in the car for an hour) had to stop on 03/29/24 approximately 7:10 am. He goes in and the rude woman told him that the code to the restroom would be on his receipt. She did give him a code. However, he cannot stand for long, so when he came out of the restaurant to get back in the car with my sister who was driving him to go the drive up window to order, she starts yelling across the parking lot in a Nasty tone " you didn't order sir". If you're familiar with Savannah, you know that this is the CLOSEST Hardee's around. I decided to stop by for a sausage biscuit. The first red flag was the price of it. $2.xx for a SAUSAGE biscuit? I've never known them to be this price. 2) I decided to stop by for lunch time. I ordered the chicken tender combo. I placed my order & was told to pull around for my total (which is questionable because why can't you tell me the price now????). I arrived at the window after waiting 5 minutes only to be overcharged. At the menu, the price was said to be $8.19. The total on my receipt $9.61. I know taxes and I know what it's not supposed to be. Come to find out, the cashier upsized my order without even asking. I decided to disregard that and chalk it off as a loss. 3) I decided to stop by, this time for FIVE tenders--there is NO way you can mess this up. Fortunately, they didn't. Let's start by saying if you're on lunch break or need to be somewhere soon, this is not the place for you. You will be waiting for at least 15 minutes. The service here is extremely slow--as if 1 person is cooking, tendering change, AND running the food out. I've decided I've had enough. Friendly staff, they take your order and give you a little table flag for a eat in order. They bring the food to your table. This location wasn't very crowded for 1:30 pm on a Thursday. Easily accessible from the i-95 South, with ample parking and a drive thru Living in NY, having seen commercials for Carl's Jr/Hardees, I was excited to try at least one half of the marketing concept. (I haven't seen a Carls yet) The menu is basically a heart attack waiting to happen. The Meal boxes are all way too much food for only 5$ so I recommend if you are a fatty fat fatster. I ate my two sliders and stuffed in as many fries as I could and wrapped the cookie in a napkin for later. I was originally going to get the 1/3 cheeseburger meal but that would have been almost 8$ The sliders had raw white onions and mustard on top and a pickle on the bottom. Wish I knew that beforehand bc I wasn't expecting all that. Fries were decent, didn't need additional salt. Cherry coke at the soda machine so that's a plus. "We have stopped taking orders for now." That is what the lady at the register told my friend after the other three in our group already placed our orders. My friend stood at the register for 10 minutes waiting for them to "start taking orders again," as nobody was at the register or front area at all. They were no more busy than any other day at any other fast food restaurant so I'm not sure what was happening. My friend, who ordered the absolute least out of all of us, eventually just said "put the breakfast sandwich on regular bread it's fine," because they said they were waiting on fresh biscuits. Even getting a regular piece of bun bread took a long time. How does that happen? We waited 45 min total for all four of us to get our food, in which we all each ordered one single item. I prefer to not eat in my vehicle, so I typically walk in and order food at the counter and then sit inside to dine. I visited this Hardee's yesterday and went inside to order - the drive thru line was quite long. There were 4 others waiting at the counter inside when I arrived. There was a young crew member and an older gentleman (whom I assumed was a manager, as he was dressed in a dress shirt unlike the other employees). The manager and crew member at the counter were facing the grill away from the register and dining area, filling orders and handing them to the crew member at the drive-thru window. After several minutes, a man in front of me said to the manager, "Hey! There are people inside who want to order, too!" The manager turned to the dining area (for the first time since I arrived) and SHOUTED "I've got cars in the drive thru that need their food!" Then he turned back around and continued filling orders for the drive thru customers. I turned toward the door to exit, and was actually shocked that only 1 other person had decided to leave. I can only surmise that food and service at this Hardee's is only for the ones in the drive thru. Solution: lock the door and post a sign that reads "drive thru only." Not only will I never EVER visit this Hardee's again, I am done with ALL Hardee's. read more

The bathroom has a filthy Dyson hand dryer and the toilet paper roll was on the floor. An employee was making phone calls in a bathroom stall. I should have left then but we are hours from home and stopped on the highway. We ordered 2 chocolate milks for our kids, they only had 1. The lemonade and Coke Zero from the soda fountain were both just water so I started writing this review in real time. No one was in line for food when we arrived yet we are waiting an unreasonable amount of time for food. Another customer finally got food but brought it back up because something was wrong. The employees up front seem frustrated at the kitchen. Someone else ordered and got his food and might finish eating before we get ours. We've now been here 35 minutes without food. My husband just asked and they picked up a pile of receipts and had no idea where our food was. Someone just admitted they had an employee "walk out" but I'm still not sure that excuses how bad this has gone unless that person also cut the power to the building. The other customer has now finished his meal and is leaving. Still no food but they did just ask again what we ordered. Omg they just made the wrong sandwich and are asking if we want that. When we walked in for breakfast just before 9:10, the only customer in the dining room had already been helped, however we stood for almost 5 minutes before we were acknowledged by either of the two females that were lazily walking around puting the one drive thru order together. Man, let me tell you about my Hardee's experience. So me and my brother were heading to Savannah, we're picking up checks, we're getting paperwork done, typical sort of thing. We decide on the way out of town, we'll stop by Hardee's, because that Frisco Thickburger is calling my name. We see some people waiting around for their orders, but they don't seem too busy. Anywho, we order our food, "for here," and go sit down at a nearby table. It's around this time we notice the beginnings of a rumbling. We're sat at a table across from a young man and his son, and an older man towards the wall. The other 10 or so people in the restaurant are standing, looking generally impatient. One of the standing goes to the counter, immediately asking the person behind the counter to speak to a manager. You know that saying "the straw that broke the camel's back?" This man, this solitary snowflake, had no idea the avalanche he would soon cause. "Well, I'm the manager on duty here sir. I'm sorry for the wait." -"Fine then, I'd like to speak to the DISTRICT manager." "We'd be happy to refund you. We're just a bit shortstaffed today" -"Yes. I have been waiting for 20 minutes, this is f**king ridiculous." At this point, the angry customer storms out. The young boy looks at his father, who solemnly shakes his head and points to his son's fries, urging him to continue eating. At this point, an older lady starts mumbling to another in their large group. "You should go say something. This is taking forever." Vague mumblings are exchanged. I just unlocked a bonus on a game for my phone. Naturally, I tune out. 30 seconds later, a temptuous roar begins to crescendo... Started as as a grumble of annoyance, and escalating quickly to a vicious roar, I overheard "I said, what the FUCK is taking so long? Y'all don't know how to do your fucking JOBS HERE!?" "Ma'am, I'm very sorry. I you'd like a refund, we can do that for you." "NO. I WANT MY GODDAMN FOOD. Y'ALL DUMB MOTHERFUCKERS WASTING MY TIME." The counter person mumbles something under his breath. "WHAT THE FUCK DID HE JUST SAY!? SMARTASS MOTHERFUCKER YOU GOT SOMETHING TO SAY!?" "I said, you NEED to calm the FUCK down, lady." The next 90 seconds or so were a complete blur to me. Customer throws a drink at counter guy. Manager tries to get in between it. Counter guy grabs a drink from under the counter and throws it back. Customer and son start to throw vague slaps at counter guy. Someone from another group of customers throws another drink at counter guy. The man at the table and his son leave quietly. The old man continues his meal, shaking his head. Someone throws a wet floor cone at the counter guy. Counter guy catches it in the air, throws it back... DEFLECTED! It hits a teenager (who is just trying to film the whole thing for Worldstar) in the forehead. She begins wailing. Another wet floor cone enters the fray. It knocks the emergency exit sign straight out of the drop ceiling roof. The manager, screaming profusely at no one in particular, begins to usher everyone out. Someone calls the cops. I light a cigarette. During our time outside, my brother and I discuss whether we think our food got thrown or not. We saw some chicken patties, but we were there for the thickburgers, and we knew it. About 5 minutes pass, and the instigators have loaded up into various SUVs and Transit vans to make their escape. The manager comes back outside, and asks if we've gotten our food. We say no, and she offers us a refund. "Well... I mean... we're really hungry though." We go back inside. The old man is finishing his burger still. Hasn't moved an inch. He has seen the horrors of fast food war before. He is unphased. Truly a sentinel of the wild world of Savannah Hardee's. "Did y'all get jalapeno poppers?" -"JUST GIVE THEM ALL OF IT. WHO CARES." Frisco burger was a bit heavy on the mayo, and they forgot my fries, but the burger was good, and who doesn't love free jalapeno poppers? 8/10. read more
