It was super busy, but really clean and efficient. The employees were very pleasant and the manager was amazing. He was busting his butt running around delivering food to tables. The food was excellent. Chicken sandwich, fries and a frozen lemonade. The food was fresh and very hot. The lemonade frosty & cold. The restrooms were very clean which was a shock due to the volume of people. My receipt says Marshall D. Davis lll is the operator and he runs a top notch business. The service was great, everyone very polite and helpful as usual at Chick-fil-A's! The restaurant was absolutely packed since it was about 1:30 (prime lunch time) so we got our food to go. We were headed north on Route 95, needed to stop for a break and get a bit to eat. I have been hankering for Chick-fil-A for quite a while, and this location was handy. I was amazed at how popular this restaurant is, the inside is totally filled with customers, the outside is filled with customers milling around and the takeout line wraps around the building. As we expected, the food was tasty hot and spicy, and i really like the chocolate milkshake as well. We asked about how busy the restaurant was, and a lady at the counter said "it's not busy now, normally it's twice this busy!) I literally JUST left this location. Myself and 4 other ladies stopped for lunch to go. We went inside to order for faster service, which we got! Along with faster service came careless service. My friend specifically ordered a 12 pc grilled chicken nugget meal. She was last to order as she was looking for something to meet her dietary needs. Being last to order she also received her food last. We walked to the car and then got all situated to get back on the road. My friend opened her bag and she had been given fried chicken nuggets. She went back inside to get what she actually ordered. The cashier rudely took the incorrect order and threw it in the trash (as opposed to being told to keep it.) She received the second order and it, too was incorrect!!! This experience showed such a lack of concern for customers! The fries were also over-cooked! I don't remember the last time I visited a Chik-fil-A, but this visit was far better than expected.  My friend and I shared a spicy deluxe, which comes with tomato, pickles, lettuce, a large order of fries and thirty chicken nuggets. Both the chicken nuggets and the chicken sandwich were juicy and tender.  We made them disappear in record time!  Part of the reason we finished it so quickly was the fact that it was really tasty; the other reason is that the chicken nuggets are VERY small - around the size of a tater tot.  It was difficult to believe that there were actually 30 of them in an order, but we counted them ;-) The fries were crispy and nicely fried; they tasted fresh and natural.  They're waffle-cut, which I like, but we found that if you don't eat them right away they get really soggy and unappetizing. Tip: There's a surprising wide variety of sauces available to go with your food.  I enjoyed the honey mustard BBQ and the Chick-fil-A sauce, but didn't really care for the other ones.  You might though, so give 'em a try when you stop by :-) While the value proposition for the food was pretty good, it took almost 20 minutes for our orders to be ready.  The staffers were helpful and friendly, but "fast" food shouldn't take this long... read more

I am updating my review as my experience last weekend was extremely better than the first two visits. I was traveling from Jacksonville, Florida to Wheelersburg, Ohio to visit family. This location offers convenience, right off Interstate 95 and has always been super busy and this day was no exception. The difference on this trip was the use of mobile pick up. The drive-thru line was long so I decided to order using the Chick-fil-A mobile app. Man I was impressed! I parked in a mobile spot and submitted my space number via the app. My food was delivered to my car in less than 3 minutes after submitting the order (even with a drive-thru wrapped around the building and spilling outside the parking lot). I often find myself at this location with my family due to a variety of reasons. It goes without saying that we are a fan of this chicken chain, but one of reasons we find ourselves at the Pooler location is that it is one of only four Chick-fil-A (CFA) locations outside of Savannah for miles. It's conveniently located right off of I-95, but that means it's also a curse for the locals. Anyone traveling up and down I-95 stops here. I think the next one is in Brunswick going southbound and the next one northbound is probably in South Carolina. Whenever we're in Pooler, it's one of our go to spots for a quick meal. This particular time, my husband and I were shopping and running errands around the Tanger Outlets and he pulled into the CFA for us to grab some lunch on the fly. - Parking - This store is located in front of the Home Depot and it has its own private lot. - Vibe - It's always busy. Like, ALL THE TIME! This location is a lot smaller than most CFAs I've been to and for the amount of traffic it gets, I wish the big cheeses at corporate would have built it a little bigger, but then again, bigger space would mean more people and then that would mean more chaos. This particular visit though, we noticed the long line at the drive thru, which was to be expected and we decided to peek inside to see if the line would be any shorter and what a surprise! There was barely anyone inside, which seems like an isolated case because like I said, it's busy ALL THE TIME! - TLC - Also as expected, we've always experienced great customer service, despite the chaos. Kudos to the staff for keeping it together with a smile all day long. They are always so polite and they have a couple of people always floating around the dining area to clean tables, refill drinks and whatever else customers need, etc. - Eats / Refreshments - S/O to Katie Q. for the heads up, but I did not know CFA rolled out some new menu items so of course, for this visit, I was excited to try the Mac and Cheese! Mac and Cheese Combo - This one is an 8 count nuggets with a side of Mac and a drink. The lady at the cash informed me that essentially, you can order the Mac as a side for $3.09. Well, wow! Bravo, CFA! Bravo! *insert clapping* That's some damn good Mac! It was elbow noodles in a nice creamy, cheesy sauce topped with melted cheddar. Looked like any ol' Mac you would find at a good ol' southern restaurant. 8 count regular nuggets - nice sized pieces and freshly fried! Frosted Caramel Coffee - I noticed that this was also a new item, so I replaced the drink in my combo with the Frosted Caramel Coffee. It's a nice balance of creamy and slushy consistency. I would definitely order this again. It kind of reminded me of the Iced Cappuccinos I used to get at Tim Horton's back home. My only recommendation is that the cap does not fit on the cup very well, and the stuff was leaking from the sides. - Heads Up - If you dine at CFAs a lot, download their app and scan it at the time of ordering to accumulate points for every purchase you make. Just like every CFA location I've been to, this one had friendly staff, was clean inside, and food was ready fast. Due to COVID they had the inside seating area closed, but you could still go inside to order food to go. Drive-thru lines (2) were long, but moving quickly with outside staff taking orders via tablets. The deluxe spicy chicken sandwich was really good, as were their waffle fries. Added some Polynesian sauce to the sandwich since they serve all sandwiches with no condiments. Seemed to get the bottom of the fry bag though as there were a lot of small fry pieces; but still good. Asked for a half-and-half tea / lemonade mix, but seemed to have gotten all lemonade. It was still tasty, just not what I ordered. read more

This place is crazy crowded! I don't think Pooler or this location could foresee the growth of the area when it was first built up. This is one of the reasons I highly recommend you use the app, place your order and pull into the curbside parking spots. Even if you don't, their drive thru line will be efficient because that's just how they do! My first few experiences with Chick-fil-A many many years ago resulted in me ordering the market salad. I love how their grilled chicken tastes. I then turned into the Chicken deluxe (meal) patron. Who doesn't love their signature sauce, juicy chicken patty, and all the goodness that goes with it? On the last visit, I felt I needed to get some more greens into my system, so it was back to the market salad. Of course it was as tasty as always! This is by far the worst Chick-fil-A I've ever visited. I've never had more rude encounters than this Chick-fil-A. I've had several orders placed for curbside pickup that were ordered well in advance that took them over 20 minutes to bring out after I had checked in at the restaurant. This has happened multiple times. I've also had more than a fair share of orders either missing sauces, missing items, or simply didn't follow instructions, like no pickles. This place genuinely just stinks and I don't recommend the Pooler Chick-fil-A. What a shame. read more

We've been here several times now on our way to places. Overall we've had very positive experiences each time. It never fails to be busy, as it's directly off the interstate and in front of a Costco, but the employees are always courteous, prompt, and attentive. We did have one or two things wrong with our order, but it was corrected promptly and pleasantly. 03.06 On our way back to Va., exited at this shopping hub for food and gas. Worst pit stop ever! Getting in and out of this place took forever. Apparently all of Savanna came out to shop till they drop that day. The staff that took our order was way too distracted from the 10 person brawl (cat fight and cop cars galore) at Arby's parking lot next door. He missed the 3 piece strips and gave us 2 extra small fries instead. No toys in the kids meal bags that caused perpetual complaining for hours. What added salt to injury was we had to park and wait 10 minutes for a very simple order that was completely messed up. If you're on this part of the 95, keep driving and find another CFA. read more

The worst service I've ever had. I was given only 1 meal and ordered 3! When I went back to get the rest they were just closed and refused to even open the window to speak to me. You come here for the chicken! You love it. So do I, but I find there are other options that I am enjoying more than I expected. The grilled market salad is worth the price and one tasty filling salad. Take a nice serving of thinly sliced grilled chicken, place on top of romaine lettuce and some baby greens. Then add some sliced caggage and carrots, blue cheese for tang, add strawberries, blueberries and apples for some sweetness and you get one flavorful salad. Plus the granola and roasted nut packs add more flavor. I top it with the honey mustard dressing, yum. I also enjoy the grilled chicken nuggets, chosen as a healthier option, it has really grown on me. This location is a typical size one, and can get busy. I usually only find myself stopping here when traveling south on I95, so am here after 7pm. It's busy then, but the friendly staff have their charming CFA service standard and deliver it every time. read more

I ordered at the register and it took close to 15 minutes before I received my food because they had a busload come in who had pre-ordered. It would have been nice if they had shared with us that ordered at the registers that there was going to be such a wait. One of the staff members she asked me for my name and when I confirmed my name she instantly handed my me my chicken sandwich. I love Chick-fil-a because they are always consistent (food and customer service) throughout the United States. Let me start out by saying that Chick-fil-A is my favorite fast food restaurant and I really can't see that changing. With where I live, this is the only option I have, so avoiding this location is out of the question. It hurts my heart for a number of reasons to complain about tonight, but it must be done. I placed a mobile order from the parking lot to avoid the line, plus I was taking a phone call at the time too and I didn't want to subject others to my boring life by going inside on the phone. After selecting that I was there, I waited a few minutes and went inside. As I stood there waiting, I watched as a young gal walked a tray of food to a table. As she walked away, the gentleman respectfully stopped her and said that he ordered value meals and was missing fries with his sandwiches and that his kids didn't get their drinks with their kids meals. She apologized and corrected it right away. I didn't think much of it. Fast forward a couple of minutes and this same gal handed me my food after confirming who I was. I jokingly asked if my son's milk was in the bag and she looked a little embarrassed and said yes. I felt a little bad, so I didn't check in front of her. Well, I got home, had my family sit down and started passing out food. So most importantly, no chocolate milk for my 4 year old that specifically asked for it and I promised I'd get it. Next, all of our fries were about 2/3 full. I called and spoke to Ryan, the manager, and his solution was to have me come by sometime in the future and he'd give me a chocolate milk to "make it right". I had to explain that it doesn't make it right to a 4 year old that we are dealing with. I also had to pursue the issue with the fries which he said he'd replace. C'mon Chick-fil-A, you're better than this. I'm a Red member of your loyalty program, so I'm definitely not looking for a free meal, nor do I need it. But I'll say this, there is nothing else you can offer me, besides my money back, in which I'll buy the same order again...so why not just offer to replace the order instead of trying to do as little as possible. they say they don't do the 8 ounce bottles of sauces in the store but I know they do because it's available on the Chick-fil-A app and I've bought several bottles from them before.
