Let me start by saying that as consumers, we should all expect to be treated with respect and dignity when we choose to spend our hard earned money at a business establishment. Terms of endearment, such as: honey, hon, babe, baby, sugar, sweetie and addressing people using terms such as dude, man, partner, buddy and bud are unacceptable forms of business communication. In fact, terms of endearment are now considered forms of sexual harrassment according to the U.S. Federal Government regulations.
The staff at Hardees needs to be properly trained on how to respectfully communicate with the public. In addition to this, Hardees General Manager has a habit of putting his hand over his mouth or wiping his nose and then handling cash and food items, without sanitizing or washing his hands, this is sickening and why it's possible for one restaurant to pass out germs to hundreds of customers and spread sickness and disease... without most customers even remotely aware of this health code violation.
It is unsettling to see young women in their 20's calling men and women in their 40's, 50's and 60's and beyond... hon and babe. Imagine going through the drive-thru and a young female has called you hon, honey, baby and sweetie over 10 times by the time you get your order and your wife is with you wondering WTH is she thinking about. It's not appropriate, unless you're on a first name basis with someone it should be sir, to every fully grown man you deal with... It's condescending to think that you can call people what you want, instead of what they find respectful. We all deserve better... or ultimately Hardees will continue to decline until it's a nothing but a memory, like so many other business establishments.
And men working at Hardees should watch how they address women, being flirtatious and calling women baby, sweetness, sugar and other names is not respectful.

Will not be spending any more of my money at Jacksonville IL Hardees.
Really pay attention to how you're treated, what type of salutation (Ma'am, Sir, Honey, Sweetie etc.) is used and remember that a cashier should never put their hands to their mouth, take your money and bag your food all without washing and sanitizing their hands. Big NO-NO! read more
