Sonic's is my favorite fast food restaurant, I love the onion rings and nerd slushy, I wish they would keep the cake batter shakes on the menu all the time though because it comes and goes at random. One comment - I came here with my boyfriend and after we ordered and was waiting for our food we were talking about the song playing on the radio and making fun of it. The red button you use to order through was turned off and the screen just said "Your food is on its way" or something so it didn't look like they could hear us but after I made a negative comment about the music, they changed it. The server came out to our vehicle to take our order bc she couldn't understand us through the speaker. We asked if there was a burger with Swiss cheese and mushrooms and she told us we should go to another restaurant in town. I lightheartedly said, you wouldn't be sending us to another business if you owned this restaurant, that's not good for business.... back and forth for 1-2 minutes about how she didn't care if Sonic had our business bc it didn't affect her paycheck.... we kept saying, they pay you so you represent Sonic... don't you want Sonic to stay in business so you have a job? I am absolutely disappointed in the quality of the food that I just received. I ordered a bacon toaster cheeseburger a large tot, med vanilla shake and a route 44 cherry limeade. The the toaster was soggy the onion ring on the sandwich was still partially frozen. The tots were so soggy that I couldn't even pick them out of the carton without them falling apart into pieces. My med vanilla shake was spot on but the cherry limeade had no cherries or limes and was basically carbonated water. I've ate at this location several times and it's sad to say but has been going down hill for the past year or so. read more

Grrrrrrrooooooowwwwwwwlllllllll. That's how I sounded while I stood outside in the wind waiting forever for a few burgers in this ghost town. Why did this take so long? You're a fast food place. When the food came out (5 meals), it came with 2 ketchups and 3 napkins. Seriously? Wasn't it obvious we weren't from Jacksonville, IL? We use napkins, fella. And when Grant B orders Chicken Fingers, he needs some sort of sauce. Providing anything would've been a start. He wanted BBQ, by the way. On another note, why is your Sonic so far from the highway? When urban douchebags like me drive through the middle of nowhere, we want to travel no more than 3 blocks to eat. We have little desire to drive through your town filled with flags and weird Labor Day festivals celebrating the military. On the plus side, Sonic's food is wonderful and the Strawberry Limemade is just too good. read more

That past few times I have went to Sonic, I would order mozzarella sticks and they never give the marinara sauce with them, they never ask. They usually get my orders wrong and take forever holding up the line behind me. This happens a lot at night, not as much during the day, and the employees are very rude and disrespectful. read more

I love Sonic Drive In but I will not be going back! They never get my order correct something is always missing or wrong! I always order a 44 oz iced tea, unsweetened with a lot of ice! Today I ordered two and while I got the teas there was no ice in them! I can you have an iced tea if there is no ice?! They also did not give me the fries with my order! They mess up orders more then they get it right. It seems like every order is messed up! They need to get their act together! read more

Dear Jason M, Why would you stand outside in the wind when you could have used the dirve thru or ordered from your car? And Sonic is only 2 stop lights and less than a mile from the main "highway" .... I think you mean Interstate. You must have taken the wrong Jacksonville exit and YOU then drove through the entire town. read more

Make sure you count your change, I went through the drive through and was shorted $10. It seems as though teenagers are running the one in Jacksonville. All you can hear when the window is open is them goofing off. Check your order too before you leave also. Quite a few times it is wrong. read more
