First time here. Walk in, place order at counter, choose a place to sit. Very much a 50's diner feel - black n white checkered floor, can see grill from seating area. Oldies playing on the speakers. Service was good, from cashier to other staff I came in contact with. Today I ordered a pony shoe and a chocolate malt. Malt came quickly, so thick and delicious. Food not too far behind, thin smash burger on Texas toast, fries piled high on top, covered with cheese sauce. It was good but the burger got lost in it all. Very tasty though. If in Jacksonville again I would stop here and have a burger. Oh, and another one of their fabulous malts! read more

I've been coming here for three years, and I LOVE the food. I have gone in to eat many times before, and I love the diner vibe, but recently I have been going through the drive thru for convenience purposes. Today after going through the drive thru, I noticed my burger was made wrong, but I thought both burgers were singles instead of doubles, which is what we ordered, and the main reason we went back to get our burgers re made. We brought our order in, and the staff did confirm that both burgers were infact doubles, but mine was still accidentally made as the toooings were wrong. They offered to remake my burger and our fries. I feel so bad for my mistake on the single vs double situation, but I am incredibly thankful for how they handled our situation so kindly. read more

This is a very clean diner. There was someone cleaning tables and chairs (more than just wiping off the tabletops) as soon as people left them - to me, that shows concern for their customers and I really appreciate it. I had a double pepper jack cheeseburger and hubby had a double cheeseburger. Both burgers were good and the fries were average. We would have liked ours a little crispier, but we hadn't requested that.... We definitely had to try their shakes and got one for the road! They were a solid choice and worth trying. Let me start by saying I did really enjoy my grilled onion burger. French fries were like frozen ones you can buy at Walmart so they're nothing to write home about. We ordered a $6 chicken strip meal (I think it's a tad overpriced here for the amount of food you get) for my nephew and we got 2 tiny chicken strips that were probably left over from the day before because the outside was hot and the inside was still frozen. After we told them they made us new ones and we got 3 bigger fresh pieces and new fries. The shakes are good and the atmosphere is very classic. I'd come again if I was nearby but I don't think it's gonna be a favorite. read more

First, the food. We all agreed our burgers were amazing and the corndog is too. We also really loved the onion rings. We will definitely eat here again when visiting Jacksonville. Now the downside. We didn't get all the food we ordered, have no receipt and paid cash. Maybe if the girl inside the drive thru had been paying attention to us and other drive thru customers (we saw at least one person drive off) instead of texting, we wouldn't have missing food. read more

Doesn't look like much when you walk past but it will blow your socks off when you bite into the perfectly cooked burger that's full of flavor. Top highlight of the visit was opening the front door and being welcomed with a friendly smile and all around great service from the staff. Chili is good, fries are crinkle cut add some cheese sauce, white cheese is good. The tenderloins are good, cheese curds are good not great, chicken fingers o.k not great, everything here is good .
