The sausage was bland, with a texture that reminded me of wet kibble. The biscuits were store bought and the gravy tasted like flour. Sorry, I wouldn't get that again for sure. The coffee was a little weak. The thing that really bothered me was the English muffins my wife had. They weren't toasted. They were grilled! Smashed on the grill. They tasted like everything that had been fried that day on the grill, mostly grease. Bleh . After having these there's no way I would order pancakes. The server was great. The atmosphere was nice. Very Christian decor. My wife liked her omelette. I won't get biscuits and gravy or any bread products from here again.

When i think Steak n Shake i typically think, "Meh". But I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food, the value, and the service here. I decided to go here because it was within walking distance from our hotel. My two small children and I ate lunch here for only $6.30, including tip! We each had a small "shooter" burger. And it came with french fries and we got a sweet tea. Being from the south, I am kind of picky about my sweet tea, and this one was perfect! We sat at the bar, as the kids requested, and the server was very attentive. It didn't take longer than 30 seconds to get anything we wanted. When the food arrived, i was surprised at how good the burgers were! It has completely changed my view of Steak N Shake. AND they have happy hour from 2-4pm when the drinks and SHAKES are half price! We will definitely be going back for that! Other locations offer the happy hour from 2-4am, as well. But this location is only open until 12am. read more

Definately make a reservation, bring lots of money and don't eat for 2 days before you go. The portions, mains and sides alike, are enough for 3 people each. Many types of steak cuts and sizes plus a few other things like prime rib and some seafood. There was a surf and turf item on the menu for. The service staff were friendly and attentive. Ask for Frank the Manager - he'll take care of you. read more

About 30 minutes into our wait a member of their staff came to inform us of a "mishap" with our order but they were working on our order and that our meals would be COMPED. 30 minutes later our orders arrive - my medallions were perfect...the kabobs - both ends were charred black. By that time we had had a few drinks and just ate what we could. I saw that you could pay on the device on our table, I opted to split the check with my friend so I paid for half. When she looked at the check to pay her half she realized they comped NOTHING. So we called manager over and he gave me a $15 coupon and provided a $15 off my friend's total. So...VERY LONG wait, charred kabobs and not coming back.
