They were able to schedule me rather quickly, and my entire experience was positive. My appointment was with Haily, and she did such a great job on my hair! My hair health is critical to me, and Haily listened and was extra cautious with touching up my balayage. I'm so excited that I found this hidden gem, and I recommend it to all my friends and family.

From what I observe of the other customers getting different services, everything's great and I will continue to keep coming back. I don't look for or expect any frills when getting a haircut so my review is based on that perspective. From any other places in the vicinity, I haven't found anywhere that can beat them for quality, speed, and cost! For men's haircuts there are discounts as well on Tuesdays. I usually get an appointment because the place can get busy, understandably so, but if you call ahead, you can get a good estimate if you'll be waiting long or not. They are also very good about updating their social media about closures, how booked they are, etc. (e.g. especially around holidays, back to school)

We had such a disheartening experience by Shannon that it ruined our whole day! I booked 2…read moreback-to-back appointments for my daughter and I, and I was told by her that the cut included washing the hair. We happened to arrive 11 mins late to our appointment due to a rail stopping and road construction, but I did text her ahead to let her know of the delay and apologized to her in person too. As soon as we parked by the curb which was legal, she yelled at me saying "Hey, don't park there" in a super curt way. When she took us inside, she was mad at us for being late. I understand, but her pissed-off attitude made us feel very uncomfortable and this was our first time with her. She allots 45 mins per customer and because we were 11 mins late she said she couldn't wash our hair. So I said ok, and had my 11 yr old daughter go first since her hair was pretty clean. Because she was mad, she tugged and pulled at my little daughter's hair the whole time. She did try to make small talk later on, but the damage was already done with a bad first impression. When I asked her to cancel my appointment, she said she'll charge me a cancellation fee. So I just stayed there to put up with her ordeal. When it was my turn, she had the full 45 mins just for me. My hair was greasy on the crown and dirty, but she refused to wash it first to give me a cut. So she went ahead and cut my dirty hair, and when I insisted that she did have the time to give me a wash, she went ahead and washed my hair only then after giving me a haircut! Its sad that she treats her first-time customers so badly for something that she gets paid for. Its not a free service or a discounted Groupon deal that we availed. Her nasty, "seriously sassy" attitude made me write this review! She has lost 2 customers' repeat business, and with so many hairstylists in the area, we will find a good one that we'll stick with.
