Stopped in today 12/23/17 at around 315pm..WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD..If I could give negative stars I would..I went here for ayce AFTER CALLING FIRST and asking if we could get ayce at a table (there were 5 of us plus 3 children under 2 years old) they said yes but when we arrived they said they would not accommodate us at a table and we would have to wait for the bar. I asked to speak to a manager and the young male host with glasses went to the back came back and said that there was no manager on duty.. This whole time there is a brunette thin young female hostess standing at the register thinking it's funny and laughing and smirking because there's no manager on duty so I asked for the owner and then I asked for them to call them "we could take your number and give it to them and have them call you" they wouldn't tell me the name of the manager ..they would not tell me the shift the manager would be working ..they would not tell me the owner's name or when the owner would be in .. All while this young brunette hostess with the retainer in her mouth is laughing at me.. I turn to this laughing girl and asks were you the one who took the call and continue to say that they should honor what was told to me over the phone.. then some red headed waitress comes over and says she took the call claiming she never said that they would accommodate us at a table ..if you are THE OWNER of this restaurant READING THIS you might want to rethink or retrain the staff that is representing your business.. you just lost five customers today read more

I just went there yesterday. It's was my first time there and it was the best Service I've ever got. The guy in the black LA hat was such a great guy! Made my sushi rolls perfect just the way I wanted them he didn't rush my rolls he took his time with it. I would go there again just so he can do them all the time, very handsome man with a great smile easy to get along with. I would recommend the place to everyone read more

DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT go to this restaurant! -(if you want to call it that!!) I have been to Sushi Bars before and I have never had an experience like this one!! I took my family member out for lunch for the "All You Can Eat" choice at the bar; first of all when we were being seated the bar was dirty and I had to ask them to clean it-which at most places they do before seating you. I didn't make a big deal out of it but that was just the first among many problems! There where 2 chefs behind the bar that I thought were there to prepare the sushi/sashimi we were ordering instead they spent most of the entire time preparing orders that were actually called in-to-go and also orders for the patrons eating at the tables. (one family) There were actually only 4 people at the bar 1 couple and my family member and I... we all sat there watching them make meal after meal for whoever called i an order while we sat there for over 30 minutes being offered nothing, absolutely nothing!! We were all waiting patiently but then enough was enough! After eating one order of rolls the other couple left and I just waited hoping the service would eventually improve. I asked how long we would have to wait before we could get a roll made and was told that they would make it right away, yet after a few more minutes I was still just waiting... (crickets) Then I asked the waitress if she could refill our drinks-since that's what we had been doing, just-sipping our beverages... and told her that nobody had refilled them since we got there... the waitress had the nerve to tell me did I ask my server, the only other person walking around from time to time was at the register and there were no specific servers, so what did she mean? I didn't understand why she was going back and forth with me about our empty cups, when all she had to do was apologize and fill them up... apparently too much work for her because she did not! Instead she walked off back to doing "nothing" and I had to ask the man behind the register and he did it finally! My family member also finally got her roll, by then I was turned off and decided I didn't want anything else! I got up to pay the check-over 60$-(for what idk)? I asked for the manager... I was told that there was no manager in at the time but that the manager-"Daisy"-would be there later if I wanted to make a complaint. That's exactly what I did, called in later and asked to speak to the manager. After different people were getting on the phone telling me that she was busy, I said that I'd wait because I wanted to speak to her. Finally a man got on the phone saying he was her husband and I proceeded to tell him what happened, he cut me off in his broken english almost immediately, and told me that they- (obviously the rude waitress)- had told him something else and that it was too bad what happened but I need not call him and complain about it because there was nothing he could do! WOW! I wish I would have paid with a CC so I could've disputed the charge, then I bet there would've been something that he could have done! Point is that this place had the worst service! Didn't have any consideration for the diners already there, spending all the time on people picking up! The attitudes were not professional and courteous, and the yellowtail was cut extra thick and sloppy and the salmon cut the same way did not taste as fresh as it should! It was not crowded in this place for the service to be that horrible and upon calling to make a formal complaint regarding the less than par demeanor of things, I was talked to disrespectfully and unapologetically, after I spent enough money there for a decent lunch. I was completely disappointed and dismayed by the common crappiness of this Palmdale eating establishment, and am concerned if this is the way the locals accept things in these parts, I truly hope not! I wanted to make sure that anyone contemplating spending money here is fully aware of my experience and takes this occasion into consideration before wasting your time and your money! Learn from my mistake!! Don't go home getting a headache and then later on have a stomach-ache! This was definitely not worth it at all! I will know better for sure next time, not to trust the "Harbour" to any chance of a good time; I must admit I will "Harbor" a grudge against them, and tell everyone I know about this "Extreme Bad Dining Experience!!" (I am a secret food critic and one of my family member's work for the board of health) Definitely time for a pop inspection! Good luck, no good riddance!! "'Aint nobody got time for that!" Even in the A.V. C'mon it's 2014 and we expect, no we demand better! These are the kinds of places that will give you food-poisoning, and then try to cover up for it! If your attitudes are that bad, your fish can't be much better! Lesson learned! FOOD POISONED!! We've been coming here weekly for several months. Up until last weekend, we thought Harbour was decent for the price and area...nothing spectacular, but filled the void when we can't make it down to LA. Anyways, last weekend, my husband and I both got the worst food poisoning of our lives. An hour after eating, my husband was running to the bathroom and continued to do so for several days and ended up with a high fever as well. For me, the next day I was violently throwing up non-stop with a fever also. My husband was out sick from work for two days, in addition to ruining our precious weekend. They really know how to please their customers. Last time my husband and I went, we were given some nice samples of Sake to try... compliments of the Sushi Chef! We loved everything we tried! Will be back again and again. Would go more often but live 50 miles away. Well worth the trip and the prices are very reasonable. Horrible service. Waited 25 mins for seats they promised when we first entered with 5 tables open. Told by two people they were getting our table ready. Waited 10 more minutes for another guy to tell us there wouldn't be a table ready for 2 hours. Very disappointing and not even an apology. I came to have a nice relaxing lunch for myself( kids out of town, husband at work) I asked for a table which the hostess sat me in the middle of the restaurant where I asked to be seated at a corner table, any who server came and I asked "its my first time here, what's your popular drink here" she said excuse me? I repeated myself but she didn't understand as she didn't know much English, weird? Yes I was confused on why they had someone like that in front of the house, well I asked her about the soju or sujo not sure how it was spelled that if it was a type of liquor in the cocktail she said she's not sure, i ended up ordering it it ,she walks away and while I watched her looking confused and flagging out another server to help her make it, 8minutes later there it was, it was OK nothing I'd order again. I ordered scallop tampura roll which was delicious and a Philadelphia roll which was gross. Chefs were screening hiiiii on top of their lungs while laughing at each patron walking in and out. We have had such a great experience every single visit. Prior to visiting Harbour sushi we used to go to Big Tuna. By our luck we stumbled upon this hidden gem one afternoon and since then we have never gone to another sushi place in Palmdale. The sushi chefs are very accommodating and very quick! Each dish not only looks like a masterpiece but the quality is unmatched! The sushi is always fresh and each visit has been nothing short of amazing. Went here for lunch. Found out AYCE was at the bar only, waited for an opening at the bar and was not disappointed. Our sushi chef was very open to modifying and recommending rolls, great service. The rolls were all so perfect, not too much rice, fish was SO fresh and all the sauces were delicious. We definitely found our new sushi place. Can't beat $22 AYCE lunch special, for the quality food they were serving. read more

When we got there it was about 2 p.m. and were seated about 2: 15 and the waitress came and asked for our drink choices and then left. She came back and it was exactly 2:29 and we wanted to order from the Lunch menu as it was good until 2:30 . She told us we had to order from the dinner menu and I replied no, we were her at 2 p.m. and seated at 2:15 and began our order with the drinks. I said we are entitled to the lunch price and she again said no and we said yes that is only proper. She gave in and said okay I go talk to the manager and so she comes back and says okay. She knew that was not right. Anyway, all was fine as this was THE BEST JAPANESE FOOD IN THE AV! better than some Little Tokyo places in Los Angeles. It was generous portions and extremely fresh and tasty. I was thinking if I was selfish, I'd harbor this place all to myself. I highly suggest you try it. Oddly, I have passed this place more times than I can say for many,many years and never tried it and wow it sure was our loss. This place is just that good! I always love coming into Harbour. As far as sushi places go, this is definitely one of the best in the AV. The sushi is really good; i love the Leo roll its very unique and spicy and the heart attack is also very good. It can get pretty busy so you might have to wait for a while for all you can eat but its worth it. On top of the sushi being delicious their service is also extremely good. No other sushi place in the AV has better service. I have had the worst service possible at places like goldfish and miso, but i've never had anything below good service at Harbour. I go in alot and i usually get Keeley as my waitress and she is always very attentive and kind. I always see her hustling around. She makes sure we have all we need and that we are happy. I would definitely recommend Harbour over any other sushi place out here for great sushi and excellent service read more

Wow, for years we've gone to another sushi bar. It used to be great but lately not so great. We saw some good Yelps for Harbour and decided to try. Very good! The 8 piece sushi was so fresh and spicy (meaning spiced without any condiments). Just nice big pieces of fish that couldn't have been any better. The miso soup was savory and delicious. I had the Ono! Roll, awesome. My wife had the Alaskan, phenomenal. The salmon pieces were nearly fillet size. The biggest surprise was the bill, so reasonable and just a great value. It left enough for a nice tip. I will be going back and I recommend that you check this place out. See what you have been missing. Outstanding! read more

I took my parents to dinner and we ordered a Tuna Baby for an appetizer. We also had three different meals and tea. The price was very reasonable and we really enjoyed the food. They had been to Big Tuna and found that Harbor's food was superior. I tried Big Tuna after Harbor and I won't go there again. My family is hooked on Harbor. I ate here for the first time a couple weeks ago with a party of 8. The outside is deceiving because when I walked in and all throughout my dinner I did not feel like I was eating dinner in the middle of a Palmdale shopping center. The atmosphere was very enjoyable and the service was excellent. I did the all you can eat sushi for 25 bucks. 2 others in my party did this, as well. Our server (I don't remember her name) was VERY attentive and very helpful answering all of our questions about the food. We didn't feel rushed at all to hurry up and eat...in fact, we stayed for a few hours. The sushi was so delicious and I tried new things that I had not seen on other sushi menus such as sweet shrimp and sea urchin. The all you can eat sushi is definitely my recommendation. The food was so fresh and the presentation for every dish was beautiful. I am glad to have given this place. In my opinion, it's the best sushi place Palmdale has to offer. Decided to try this place out since it's closer to home,we usually go all the way to Lancaster for sushi. Friendly staff but just felt like the rolls were a bit overpriced. The rolls were bigger but mostly stuffed with imitation crab meat then anything else which I didn't feel like was worth the price. I have been to Harbour many times over the years and it has all been relatively good. Service and food are all standard and the pricing for sushi is average, nothing fancy. However, recently I ordered out a couple boxes of sushi and when I asked for ponzu sauce to-go, they wanted to charge extra. Harbour apparently doesn't charge for ponzu sauce if you eat it at restaurant but charges if you want to take out. I understand if I ordered $5 worth of stuff and was asking for extra on every sauce, absolutely cut me off. This was not the case. Why be so stingy over condiment type stuff especially for a customer who has purchased a legitmate amount of food from you? I guess you would rather lose business than to provide 1 packet of ponzu sauce. This does not make sense and absolutely horrible business practice! I do not recommend Harbour anymore and will also not be returning. Poor customer service lands them a 1 star. read more

I haven't been here in awhile because I usually go to Gold Fish. I took my family there today for my daughters birthday and everything was terrible!! The muscles were too chewy and we had to spit them out! They brought us new ones and they were the same! We bought 4 rolls and the seaweed was so hard and chewy it was gross! The roll are cut too big and it's very difficult to eat! Everything tastes weird and had strange textures. All 5 of us left hungry and nauseous!! I am very disappointed={ The waitress wasn't very good either.. She never came back to check on us... I had to go the the front and talk to the the guy at the register to get Napkins and tell him about our chewy muscles. He was very nice and professional. We told the cashier about our terrible experience with the food and she just smiles and says sorry and told us it was $49.00!! The waitress never brought us our check! We will never go there again!
