Rober Jaramillo is cheap and petty. Not only will he lie to you about the chili. He will give you cheap Sriracha in place of a quality product for convenience. And charge you $0.50 when you question it. Not out of necessity but pettiness. You would also assume the staff would know better than to place 2 hot soups on top of a $40 box of sashimi in the same bag. Nothing like luke warm togo sashimi. Yum... Togo order customers should be treated with the same amount of respect as in dining. I would give 0 stars if I could. They over charged my card $30 and didn't give me the correct receipt. It was my sisters graduation and my cousin and I split the cost. I called to let them know they did that and made a mistake all they said was sorry and I wrote it down as a tip! I never give tips on my card I left $20 on the table. If you like sushi, open environment and sports. This place is great. The food portions are great, and are very unique. The food taste great. Decent pricing and great atmosphere. The wait times can get long, but well worth the wait. My girl and I love this place and highly recommend for sushi date night and for a full stomach. I would prefer to give the restaurant a 3-1/2 for my second visit. We ordered the harajuku sashimi combo, but half of the pieces we received weren't sliced through all the way. We had to literally pull pieces apart and our pieces were torn in half by the time we could get them apart. I also wouldn't recommend the yakiniku. It was flavored except for basically teriyaki sauce and you're better off just ordering the combo for that. Seriously my favorite Sushi place in the Av! I love the atmosphere the music, the workers, and of course the sushi & soju! The rolls are pretty big but they are really tasty. I recommend the tempura veggies, dynamite roll or baked salmon with cream cheese. & ask for their secret soju menu they have some good flavored drinks! This place is usually packed on the weekend, wait times aren't to bad though and they will actually call your phone to let you know your table is ready if you decide to leave for a bit instead of waiting in there. It's located in a really nice area, pretty much the fun spot of palmdale near the mall shops and nice little restaurants. Another thing they give you edamame as a complimentary snack before you get your rolls which is great the other sushi places I've been to I had to pay for some dried up unsalted ones. Have never had a bad roll here or even bad customer service! These chefs know what they are doing and have fun doing it! The all you can eat is only at the bar and honestly that's the best place to sit because these guys are very nice and cool to talk to. They do get kind of busy so if you're ordering for pick up, be ready for a good 20-30min wait. In the end everything is worth it! This used to be my favorite sushi spot pre-Covid and now it's just disappointing. They added Sriracha on top of my roll which was not supposed to be there and the lady had the audacity to argue with me and tell me that it should have been there. The entire roll was drenched in a ponzu sauce and basically not edible. She said she would give me a refund and then charged me when I brought it to her attention she gave me a discount. The other reviews talk about the great food (of which it is), the great prices (of which they are), and the great staff (of which there is none comparable), so there is not much here that I can add. I simply urge you to try it out here. Do yourself a favor. Do yourself another favor: Try the leo roll and the baked green mussel as you sit at the bar and partake in the all you can eat deal. While those works of art are delighting the eyes and the palate, try thinking of something off menu that you might like. I dig on a calamari and eel roll. Here is the deal, I LOVE Harbor sushi! Im a huge sushi fan and was always on the lookout for a great place to have sushi, well I have finally found my sushi home. I am here every tuesday for their all you can eat special! The sushi chefs are amazing and super friendly as are their waiters! Even before I was a regular eating their "all you can eat" I loved the choice of rolls (which is alot!) they have to offer and their choice of regular Japanese foods such as their tempura and miso soup. They also have amazing baked green mussels! but back to the sushi.. While eating all you can eat sometimes im not sure what i want, so i usually let my sushi chef know what I like and they always come up with amazing creations! When its not busy before i have even made an order the sushi chef has created a special treat for me to try which have ranged from a japanese version of cevieche to a wonderful salmon/mango mix on top of a deep fried thinly cut potato chip. The staff is always friendly and the food is always delicious! I HIGHLY recommend trying them out everything is always of the best quality and super fresh and they are always willing to create you a roll that is more liking to your taste buds! and before I finish this review I must add..their specialty drinks are also very very yummy!!! read more

My rating for this place is a 2.5, rounded down to 2. Came here for dinner, and was not impressed. Upon walking in, I did feel like it looked like a nice restaurant, although the hostess was a bit stand offish. On the other hand, our server was nice and accommodating. The iced green tea and miso soup were good, but that's about where it stopped being good for me. I ordered the Golden Philadelphia roll, and the reason I chose this roll was because it had cream cheese and salmon and avocado and was said to be slightly fried so I assumed it would be a warm roll-looking back I should have asked for clarification instead of assuming. It also had crab and I asked to substitute spicy tuna for it, but our server said it would be an extra $2. I didn't think it was fair to pay an additional $2, since I feel like crab and spicy tuna should be fairly interchangeable so I decided against making the substitution, for the principle of the matter. Although this roll had many of my favorite things, it just wasn't good. The outside was slightly crispy but the inside was cold and therefore the cream cheese was cold, I was hoping it would be a warm roll and the cheese would be warm. There was only a very small amount of salmon, and it didn't seem fresh, but there was a ton of the imitation crab meat which I really dislike. I actually had difficulty finishing the roll, and it was the only thing I ordered. I tried my BF's beef teriyaki and it was very tough. The chicken teriyaki was okay, but definitely not anything special. The salad had some kind of creamy dressing, maybe it was ranch-I must prefer a miso or sesame dressing when I'm at a Japanese restaurant. I don't think I'll be coming back here. I prefer Goldfish for Japanese food, which is also in the area and the prices are about the same. read more

Kind of gross. Ambiance was ok. Decent tunes, sounded like 70s/ 80s pop or something. Good lighting. Place seemed clean enough. Staff has no sense of pride or service. I mean they weren't mean or anything just lacked the basics like saying hi or checking up on you incase you need something. Zero energy in that place, someone could die and fall over and all that would happen would be maybe a waitress would casually call 911 as she rolled her eyes. I mean this restaurant has no personality. They serve cold fish yeah, but they seem to have embodied cold fish as a way of life. I saw my waitress twice the entire time. The cooks are all teenagers and you can tell by the food. Sushi was awful. Tasted like American gas station sushi. Sashimi was ok though i guess. Oh and no military discount just FYI, thats not a big deal but figured id mention it. Theres a sushi spot behind the mall thats a little better. read more

This is my absolute FAVORITE sushi place in the AV! I've tried pretty much every sushi place out here, and nothing can compete with Harbour! All their ingredients taste better and some of the sushi roll recipes, while the same as other places, taste better. The philly roll at Harbour is the best philly roll I've ever had! Its also only $3.50, compared with $10.95 at Big Tuna, and its nowhere near as tasty. And don't forget their spicy mayo. I'm obsessed. I eat here at least once a week. read more

This is easily the best sushi place in the area (aside from Snooky's)!!! I've been here a few times after my surgeon recommended I increase my intake of omega-3's following my quadruple bypass. My psychiatrist also said it was pleasant. But anywho, when you first walk in (or in my case, scooter in) you get the vibe that you're in an 18 year old Japanese girl's dorm room. Everything looks generic and thrown together like those Halloween outlet stores in the mall, but who cares when the food is so damn good??? Not my surgeon, psychiatrist, or me!! The servers are also super friendly and pretty young- a definite plus for someone like me who spends most of the day alone carving wood ducks and watching the Price Is Right. They apparently also have an all you can eat sushi special one day out of the week. I hear it's pretty good but I'm trying to stay away from cheating on my doctor like I did my first wife. Ok, I would first like to remind the good people of the Antelope Valley that they are in the Antelope Valley. If you are looking for authentic sushi straight from your high school trip to Nagasaki, get a life. You are still in the Antelope Valley. Having said that, Harbour is my favorite place for sushi in the Antelope Valley. Probably anywhere because I have four kids and I'm not wasting my hard earned cash to travel somewhere so my kids can complain about the food! Anyway, when you walk into Harbour they are always nice and friendly. If you have to wait for a table (which is probably a 50/50 chance) then they are super nice and accommodating. I've never waited longer than 20 minutes. The sushi chefs are knowledgeable and friendly. They will occasionally give you something of their own creation and it's always amazing! One time I got something with five different types of roe on it. It was awesome and I'm a huge roe freak so the fact that the chef noticed that and they gave me the perfect dish was AMAZING. I've never ordered something and they got it wrong. The chefs do not look over worked and you can tell the individualism that goes into the food they serve you. This is not cookie-cutter service that sometimes goes a long with sushi bars that have "all you can eat". The fish is fresh and they are always generous with the portions. The ono sushi is usually my favorite. The fish is soft and buttery and they give you extra pieces. SO WORTH IT. The rolls are creative and inspired. I especially like the Leo Roll and the Andrew Roll. But if you're there for all you can eat, start and end with the Sexy roll. It has no rice so it's light and refreshing!! There is always wait staff around to refill your drink or whatever and they are super nice. I really appreciate the fact that they are not understaffed. Unlike other places, I'm looking at you here, Miso.... I have never had a bad experience at Harbour and if I take a friend there and they don't like it, I question my friendship, not the restaurant. read more

Super sad experience... used to love this place... However, not after today's experience!! Today was the first time back to Harbor since the COVID shut down and reopening of restaurants. I ordered the Alaskan Baked Roll. I didn't know that it was going to be loaded with so much mayonnaise. I could not eat the roll. The roll came out prepared completely differently than the picture and written description on the menu. I explained this to three of the staff and no one cared. I was told, "I should have known better. baked sushi always is baked with a lot of mayonnaise on top." It doesn't matter that the picture and written description did not have the mayonnaise on top, as a consumer, I should have known better. If I wanted a sermon, I would have gone to mass. Lol!! The waiter, continued to lecture me and added, "I hope you have a better experience next time." I will not return to this place again. There won't be a next time. I didn't want a refund. I just wanted my roll exchanged for something I could eat. That is an appropriate thing to ask for, as a paying consumer. First time eating here. I had the lunch special with tempura, sashimi, and spicy tuna rolls. It was well priced and the portions were fair. The tempura was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and had great flavor. The sashimi was average, the salmon was my favorite out of the tuna and white fish. The spicy tuna roll was better than most, great proportion of tuna and rice and the spice was perfect for me, not too overpowering.
