Shocked to have only discovered this place recently after decades of going to Disneyland. Harbour Galley is a small stand selling seafood rolls, soup and freshly baked cookies. Was it the best food I've ever had? Far from it. Is it worth a visit if you're already spending the day at Disneyland? Absolutely. $8.39 (incl. tax) for a half dozen small chocolate chip cookies. They were soft, warm and gooey- comparable to when you buy premade cookie dough from the market and bake them in the oven at home. It was a nice pick-me-up treat. You can order ahead on the app, or just order at the window. It was quicker for us to just order there at the time, and we had our cookies in hand within 5 minutes of getting in line. I wouldn't go out of my way to get these, but definitely some of the better theme park cookies I've had. Will be returning during our next Disneyland trip, and maybe even getting some of the other menu items. read more

I know people complain about the cost of everything at Disneyland but the food at Harbour Galley and at The Hungry Bear are reasonable imo for theme park food if you don't want to bring in your own food (which I often do). I had the ratatouille soup in the sourdough bread bowl and with tax it was maybe $12 which I thought was reasonable for Disneyland. Because I knew I would be ordering it before I went to the park (here's where my frugalness comes in play!), I brought with me snack size mozzarella balls and added it to the soup for some flavor and protein since it's a vegan soup. It definitely made it better because while the soup was okay, it was missing a little something. I also brought in my own can of soda so I had a nice little meal :) I went on a weekday with shorter hours so the park wasn't that packed yet so I did not do mobile order since the line was short. People working there were nice and service was fairly quick. A couple of things to note is the bread bowls are not toasted and not heated. I thought they would be. By the time you are done with the soup you just have basically sourdough bread at room temperature. Very limited seating so I took my soup to Hungry Bear and had a nice spot overlooking the river and a man's butt crack. Would I get it again? Maybe on a cold day but to me there's really no amazing Disney food that I have to get again. Didn't get the chocolate chip cookies. People here wax poetic about things at Disneyland and I'm guessing it's the same for those cookies. read more

We were at Disneyland for the day and had to try the Ratatouille soup--and it did not disappoint! The soup was super flavorful. It's a small portion in a bread bowl, but still really enjoyable. The bread itself was just okay--chewy on the outside--but the garlicky, crunchy top was SO good. Harbour Galley brings out the cookie monster in me. Om-nom-nom!! Their chocolate chip cookies is hands down one of the best chocolate chip cookies I have had even from many bakeries. Soft, chewy, slightly sweet and salty with a great chocolate to cookie ratio. They're served warm and gooey and is best eaten immediately. But you can get a high value 6 or 12 pack so you either take the calorie hit or sneak some for later. Choose your own adventure. Their seasonal cookies are pretty good as well. The gingerbread cookie during the winter holiday is better than the gingerbread man cookies available throughout Disneyland (which are cute but not as delicious!). It's more molasses-y than ginger, but it's got a nice spiceful taste. They're served warm and toasty too. Worth a short wait. The pumpkin cookies are just okay. I was served them stone hard cold and with a frown the one time I got them so maybe that detracted from the experience. Not worth a wait. As an added bonus, their Lobster rolls are a refreshing and quite delicious bite to indulge in while in the park. This little stall is a beacon of delight for your taste buds in the middle of Disneyland's joyful chaos. And if you're a chocolate chip cookie lover, you will definitely want to give this a shot. I stopped by Harbour Galley for the first time this past visit - not sure why I never had before! It is a tiny building located near the Haunted Mansion and Tiana rides. There are no tables, you just order at one of their windows and take it to go. They offer mobile ordering as well - which is worth it on not so busy days! Ratatouille bread bowl (4/5) - it hit the spot after a long morning of walking. The top bread portion is slathered in oil and garlic which makes it delicious but heavy. The soup itself didn't come with much - tasted like pasta sauce with cut up veggies. Worked well absorbing the bread. Yuzu lemonade (4/5) - refreshing drink. Very sweet but to be expected of a lemonade. Had a light hint of yuzu. Jellies didn't add much to the drink. Make sure to order in advance on the mobile app, or you might have to wait a while 20-30 minutes plus for food. Seating is difficult to find as it gets crowded easily. One might say they are somewhat expensive, but ONCE you try them, they are out of this world. The Cast Members/CMs are so nice and friendly always smiling and helpful. They do not shoo anyone away and when there is a long line, there is a CM on the veranda to assist. The atmosphere??? ALL the tables are set on a wooden veranda next to the Columbia. If you're eating there around 5pm or 530pm, the crew CMs start to set up the Columbia for Fantasmic's performance. Cool to see them working around the deck. HIDDEN GEM! I was pleasantly surprised by my most recent food purchase here, because I previously did not like the lobster roll at Harbour Galley several years ago. I'm so glad they got rid of it and replaced it with the shrimp and crab roll. Lots of shrimp and crab filling that was full of flavor, they make it a little spicy so that works well with the flavors! Great filling to bread ratio to offset a slightly dry roll. But because there is so much crab and shrimp filling you hardly notice the bread not being perfect. It just was all put together so well compared to the tiny amount of plain tasting lobster that used to be in their lobster roll. Also at lunch hour on a weekday when all the other lines to eat are insane the line here was not at all long. I'm coming back here again and hope the quality of this crab and shrimp roll will stay as good as it was recently! read more

Remember those days when Harbour Galley in Disneyland sold McDonald's french fries? Yeah, we do, too. But get this, guys: they now have one of the theme park's best snacks - freshly baked, warm, mini chocolate chip cookies! This is my new go-to snack, and I get them every single time I am at Disneyland! Harbour Galley is also home to Disneyland's only lobster roll, but I recommend you skip it here. They totally skimp on the lobster filling, and it's ridiculously overpriced (even for Disney). Located directly across from the Haunted Mansion, the Harbour Galley has very limited, outdoor-only seating. This means it fills up with people who rudely camp out for the Fantasmic show. Because of this, if you go in the evenings, you often won't be able to find a seat or a place to eat. We usually head down the hill towards Critter Country and grab a seat at the Hungry Bear. They have plentiful outdoor tables set along a small creek and nice views of the park. As a cookie lover, I freaked out when during the winter holiday season, Harbour Galley offered mini gingerbread cookies in addition to the chocolate chip ones! And oh my heavens, they were DELICIOUS. If you are fortunate enough to visit when they have the seasonal gingerbread cookies on offer, get them! The chocolate chip cookies are no joke though, and they are one of the tastiest treats ever. I usually get the 6 pack (cost: around $7) and keep them in my backpack to nibble on throughout the day. Admittedly, they aren't as good as when they are fresh and warm, but they're still cookies, so.....you get the drill! Some pro tips if you're ordering cookies here. First, put in your MOBILE ORDER early! The window to get the cookies is never less than 20 to 30 minutes, and sometimes can run up to an hour (or more)! To avoid disappointment, put in your order very, very early. I like to do it right before I ride Pirates and/or Haunted Mansion, because then after riding my cookies are ready for pick-up. Second, you can request a complimentary cup of ice water when picking up your treat. Do this because the sweetness can overwhelm your palate otherwise! You have the option of getting a dipping sauce or icing with your cookies, but I find that an unnecessarily added expense. Maybe try it once to see what you think, but I'd skip the extra cost. One exception: the icing cup they sold with the gingerbread cookies was absolute fire. read more

We came here expecting to have the lobster roll, which we have had multiple times here. It's a step above most of the offerings in Disneyland, which cater mainly to a chain restaurant clientele. Unfortunately, the lobster roll has been replaced by a shrimp and crab roll. I can understand the reasoning--lobster is pricey and farmed shrimp costs much less. We had the clam chowder in a sourdough bowl and the steak salad. Both dishes were very good. The clam chowder in a bread bowl is a very reliable choice for us. We were really surprised at how good the steak salad was. The tri-tip was roasted medium rare alongside a generous serving of broccolini, green beans, and pickled fennel. You do have to plan ahead, as they give you a window of time when you can pick up the food. The window can be anywhere from 15 minutes to 100 minutes. You can modify or refresh and that time can change. I really like their process. We ordered clam chowder sourdough bowls for 12.99. That's a good deal for Disneyland. However, they scoop a handful of the bread out to pour the chowder in. I wish there was more chowder since the bread out-ratios it. They are also known for their cookies. I tried the chocolate chip cookies and maybe I got a bad batch, but they were hard and crunchy. Not soft like others have described. However, the gingerbread cookies which were seasonal between mid-November and early January, were out of this world! It was buttery and chewy with that yummy taste of ginger and molasses.
