We ate here on the 4th of July around 8:30pm (they closed at 9pm). The line was a few deep outside of the door and mobile ordering had been shutdown for the day, so the line was the only option. Once inside, you'll see the line splits into 2. Know that both sides serve the same stuff, so choose the shortest line. We got the chicken meal and the sausage meal. Even though the menu lists the sides they come with (mac & cheese and coleslaw, then collard greens, respectively), the Cast Member asked me if I wanted menu sides or something else. We did menu for the former and swapped mac & cheese for the latter. I didn't realize the sausage meal was actually a sandwich because the menu didn't indicate that, so I took the bread off because I don't eat a lot of bread. Inside was lettuce, sliced tomatoes and pickles. It was so much food (and we'd been at the park for HOURS and were starving) that I couldn't even finish it all, so I definitely wouldn't have been able to with the bread because the bun was enormous. The sausage had a little kick to it, but not super noticeable (I do have a high heat tolerance for a white girl lol). The homemade pickles were sooooo good! I could have eaten those all day by the handful. The mac & cheese was super cheesy with strings of cheese flying around everywhere. Everything was super flavorful and delish. With the highest pass discount, after tax, all this food was about $34 which we felt was a great value for the quantity and quality of the food. Even though we sat at a table near the back by the train, we could still see the top of the water show going on, including the full pirate ship and the witches in the water. Our 3 y/o was about to turn 4, and we told him the water show was his special birthday surprise. He had so much fun dancing and jumping around at our table while watching the water show.
Went here as our first stop in Disneyland because we were hungry and wanted a full meal. We got their beignets, gumbo, and the honey chicken. I wish the beignets were more fresh. The gumbo and the chicken were good but as we took more bites, it got more saltier lol. Portions are huge and there's no indoor seating. It's all outdoor but it's shaded! Staff were friendly except for this one lady that was handling the drinks. Recommend trying this place!
Disney dates and Disney foods. Gotta try them all! Gotta take a recommendation from a season pass holder and we got Tiana's Shrimp and grits and had to add cornbread on the side! I'm pretty picky with my shrimp and grits and there were pretty good for Disney food. A bit oily but nonetheless yummy and the corn bread was a perfect addition for it
When I'm craving some Southern comfort when visiting Disneyland, I'll head over to Tiana's for some hearty grub. I've had a chance to dine here a few times, and it's always been satisfying. The Cajun/Creole food offerings remind me of New Orleans. I've enjoyed the House Gumbo, which has a bold flavor and chunky ingredients. Enough to fill you up, yet it won't put you in a coma. Recently, I got the Cajun Half Chicken plate, and it was delicious. The chicken was juicy with flavorful skin. I had the BBQ sauce on the side, and it was also good. The plate included coleslaw, mac and cheese, and pickles. The mac and cheese was just okay. It tasted a little greasy, and the cheese lost its creaminess quickly. I would get this entrée again just for the chicken. Don't forget the beignets while you're here, too! Throughout the day, live music is showcased on the nearby stage for all guests to enjoy. It really sets a pleasant atmosphere while enjoying a meal. The seating area is nicely shaded by a large awning and umbrellas at many tables. This is a quick-service, cafeteria-style establishment. There are two lines to get your items and specialty drinks, then pay at the cashier. Magic Key holders can use their discounts here. Mobile ordering is also available.
We were in this part of Disneyland when we started getting a hankering for food. We decided to pop a seat here and order some lunch. Our lunch consisted of cornbread and a gumbo that we split. They do have a mobile order feature, but we decided to simply order at the location because there was no line. The process was pretty smooth. You grab a tray pick out your food someone put food together and then we got rung up at the cashier. We were able to find a seat right away, making a super easy for us as a family with an infant in a stroller to be able to enjoy our lunch. As far as the food goes, this is probably one of my favorite spots now at Disneyland to grab food. I thought the gumbo was delicious as well as the cornbread. I would love to come back to try the jambalaya. I also saw that they had a muffaletta, which I'd like to try next time too.
*** Vegetarian Review *** Even on a super busy day, mobile ordering saved me--I only waited about 20 minutes for my food. Would I come back? As Tiana's neighbor's said in the beginning of the movie "Now that is what I call good cooking!" 7 Greens Gumbo ($14.99, Grade A+) The Plant-Based 7 Greens Gumbo is a simmered plate of roasted sweet potatoes, yams, okra, heirloom rice, and a white bean roux. I hate okra. I couldn't even tell it was in there. It was incredibly good, and I'd definitely get it again. It's the picture-perfect definition of comfort food, and it's rare to find a Disney dish that comes with rice. It's plenty of food for lunch or dinner, but it's also a great, hearty option to share with your plus-one if you're just snacking your way through the park. A couple of tips: 1) Skip the sauce bar: They have a condiment station with red chili, green chili, and a sweet & spicy hot sauce. I tried all three and honestly, they weren't great and just ruined the flavor of the food. Skip'em. 2) The strategy: Put your mobile order in, find a nice seat in the shade, and just chill until the app says it's ready. 3) Don't forget your Disney passholder discounts Bottom line, it's an excellent dish. Definitely worth trying! Move over mac-n-cheese in a bread bowl, there's a new reigning champion of "Best Comfort Food in the Park."
I only went for the beignets. Mobile order makes it easy to order ahead. Good beignets, pillowy and hollow in middle. Might be too sweet for some people.
My husband and I visited Disneyland Park recently over the holidays, and chose to dine at Tiana's Palace. The experience was very enjoyable, so we will be going back! We ordered the 7 Greens Gumbo with Chicken & Andouille Sausage, which is enough for both of us to share, as we had planned to snack in the park that day. Mobile Ordering made everything so simple for us. As soon as our order was ready, we went up to get it and that was it! The whole thing was very fast and very easy. Once we got our food, we sat down at a table with a view of Tom Sawyer Island and the Rivers of America. Compared to some of the other busier areas of the park, this area was quiet and peaceful and was a perfect spot to eat. Tiana's Palace is a good place for a meal that is both fun and relaxing. The food at this location was also very good. I enjoyed the warm, hearty, and very flavorful gumbo with the andouille sausage and chicken combination. The gumbo was a great sharing item, so you could enjoy some together as a family or group! It seemed to be a comfortable spot, especially after we had spent time walking in the park and needed a little rest. This was a good stop for us because of the ease of mobile ordering, the delicious gumbo and the beautiful, quiet sitting area right next to the water! Thank goodness they took the lemon beignet that they first debuted because it was not good and social media influencers lied to me! It was filled with a non dairy lemon iced filling that melted by the time I got to my table and all I got left was a soggy beignet. Buuuut, everything else was delicious. I have visited this spot a few times and the main dishes I have tried were really good. My favorite is the shrimp and grits. It's full of flavor, not too spicy and the cheese grits is delicious with great texture. This is a dish I often order. Cajun chicken is really good as well if you want more protein in your dish. Seasoned well with a little bit of a kick, this is a dish does not disappoint. Although I like the menu from Cafe Orleans better, Tiana Palace is a great alternative for Southern food at the price point the dishes are offered. If I am not mistaken, all the dishes are less than $20 and you get a solid plated meal at an amusement park. May I add that the seating area is roomy, sunny but shaded and super fun. It is very cute at night as well.
The hot chicken sandwich was pretty good - nice plump piece of chicken, between a pillow-y beignet sandwich. The gumbo isn't something we'd get again. Not terrible, but just sort of whatever. The Nitro cold brew was disappointing, so was the other red (don't even remember what it was) drink.
Tiana's Palace is a orders and go eatery in Disneyland New Orleans Square. The foods served are Cajun inspired. Shrimp gumbo - 3.5/5 The risotto was very creamy. The gumbo flavor wasn't robust, but decent. The shrimp was slightly on the soft side. Not mushy, but not tender solid side. The overall fish was decent, but not great. 7 Veggie Gumbo - 5/5 A very flavorful dish. The veggies were not over cooked. The gumbo flavor was mild with a little heat. Overall, the flavor and 7 veggie combo is worth ordering. For a quick order and go meal, Tiana's Palace is a decent eatery to go.
We stopped by here for lunch and surprised the wait was minimal. It was on a Monday so I guess thats a good day to go to Dland! We ordered the Gumbo and Mickey Mouse Beignet. The Gumbo was fantastic as well as the beignet. Just the right level of spice and ratio of meats, chicken and sausage to rice. Only gripe was table wasn't clean.
Have been here twice and the food is decent! Not amazing but the food is good and had shareable! Have tried the Cajun chicken, two big pieces of chicken with Mac and cheese, cole slaw, and pickles. Pretty decent plate for $20. I have also tried the gumbo and it was decent as well. Good spice but nothing to write home about. The shrimp and grits were also good, the grits were buttery smooth,'however the collard greens was a little too salty.

A decent quick service option with seating both inside and outside. I guess we got lucky because it wasn't busy at all when we went. Food was decent but my favourite part was the experience. Tiana happened to be roaming around and interacting with guests while we were there! This made the experience 10/10. :) read more

Ordered through the mobile order, which I'd recommend for basically all of Disney. Otherwise these lines are crazy man. Lines to get in the park, rides, food, bathroom...whew. Seating is pretty tight in the outdoor area during peak hours. Mobile Order pickup is located outdoors to the left of the main line in a little window, tastefully marked with "Pickup" Signs. 7 Greens Gumbo with Chicken & Andouille Sausage (7/10) - Flavor was great! The gumbo was rich, savory, and smoky. They are also reasonable with the amount of meat given, with the bowl pretty packed in with rice, meat, and gumbo. Okra was fantastic as well - COMPLAINT: Through the Mobile Order option, our food is given in a plastic to-go container, wrapped in a plastic bag. However, if you order by waiting in line, you get a very nice bowl with silverware and beautiful plating!! I get that we used Mobile Order, but I would have also really appreciated a nice bowl to eat lunch on. Anyways, maybe it's to keep the food hot. Overall, flavor is good. Portion sizes are meh, but it's Disney. Mobile order gets your food in a plastic to-go box. Waiting in line gets a nice bowl and silverware. Would probably eat here again in the future. read more
I love Cajun/Creole cuisine and I like the Princess and the Frog film's restaurant subplot of Tiana wanting to open up her own restaurant, so I was looking forward to trying this newer food establishment in Disneyland's New Orleans Square. I got the Classic Beignets, House Gumbo, and Joffrey's Coffee Nitro Cold Brew. Everything was worth it for the most part for the price in terms of value and portion size. The beignet-flavored Nitro Cold Brew was a yummy balance of sweet and strong flavors, could definitely taste the potent cold brew. The Classic Beignets were on the sweeter side because of the honey drizzle but I still really enjoyed them, super light and airy for a dessert. The House Gumbo had an immense spicy kick with most bites, however it verged on way too spicy and way too salty for the most part, losing part of the umami flavor because of that. I like spicy food but this was too much lol. Also, of course this gumbo doesn't compare to actual New Orleans gumbo. However, I would definitely come back and try their other menu options like their Muffuletta Sandwich, Jambalaya, and order the beignets again. I was bummed they didn't have Shrimp Po'boy on the menu because that was one of the reasons I wanted to get lunch here. Seems that they rotate their Po'boy sandwich seasonally, as of now they are advertising an andouille sausage one. read more
Tried Tiana's at Disneyland and it was... okay. I really wanted the Mickey beignets but somehow ended up with the rectangle ones. Apparently I ordered on the wrong side, but I used the mobile app and it showed the Mickey faces when I ordered, so I'm not really sure what happened there. That said, the staff were super friendly and really helpful when I was figuring out how to order. I hadn't been to Disney in a long, long, long time, so I appreciated the kindness. Food-wise, I got the shrimp with cheesy grits, plus a kids meal with a chicken leg and rice, BBQ sauce, an applesauce pouch, and a Cutie orange. Total was $29. Overall... meh. Not bad, not amazing -- just okay. read more
Excited to try Cajun/Creole food here when we visited Disneyland. I was a bit overly ambitious and got the 7 greens gumbo with chicken & andouille sausage for me and the kids baked macaroni and cheese meal for my toddler.... and it was way too much food. But it was delicious, so I tried to eat as much as I could. The sausage is a bit too spicy to share with the baby though. I wish there was indoor seating, but they only had outdoor seating, so thankfully it wasn't too cold for dinner. read more
Tiana's Palace is a must-try inside Disney if you love bold New Orleans flavors. My husband and son ordered the house gumbo rich, comforting, and full of flavor. I went with the plant-based 7-greens gumbo and absolutely loved it hearty, perfectly seasoned, and so satisfying. The service was fantastic. The ladies were incredibly sweet and dressed in the cutest outfits, which added to the charm. The ambiance is pure Disney magic with a New Orleans soul lively, warm, and full of spirit. Plates are around $18. They may look small at first glance, but don't be fooled the portions are just right and very filling. Highly recommend if you're at Disney and craving something flavorful and comforting. Total win! read more

Food: 3/5 Service: 3/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Portion to Price: 3/5 Overall: Pretty standard fare. I didn't get to try the gumbo but it looked good and I'll likely come back to try it. The extended review... Food: Beignet Fried Chicken Sandwich : 3/5 - I think this sandwich was pretty interesting in the sense that it's "different". It was a good mix of sweet and savory. I'll say that the beignet was more reminiscent of focaccia instead of an actual beignet. Service: 3/5 - Standard service. Ambiance: 4/5 - A good outdoor seating area. Portion to Price: 3/5 - Pricing was standard fair for park food. read more
Yes, I do recommend Tiana's Palace!! I came in here without making a reservation! You come in grab a tray and select your food...it's that simple! The line moves very quickly too! Make sure you know what you want before you come in, this will make things quicker for you. The quality of the food was great!! I'm a big fan of the Beignets they were TASTY!!! read more
This is where I go for dinner at Disneyland. Like most every time - it's been a family tradition for decades since it was the French Market. But I love Princess and the Frog and while the menu is slimmed down from the French Market days (oh those desserts were so good!) the focus is more on Nawlin's food (as it should be). Celebrating my bday at Disneyland, we again ate here for dinner and the food was still good - just the right portion and prices are reasonable (unlike Magic Mountain where it's $16 for fries ...) . The best thing was that the beignets were greatly improved since a couple years ago! While it's not at the level of Cafe Beignet in NOLA , they were still nice and soft and delicious. Stick a spicy fried chicken breast between 2 of those and it's a pretty damn good dinner :) One of the workers in the nearby gift shop that was selling Cafe du Monde beignet mix did let me know that Disneyland and Downtown Disney only use this mix for making their beignets! Now it all makes sense! Definitely will continue to make this my go to dinner spot in Disneyland :) The beignets alone cinch the deal! read more

The new Buffalo Sandwich dish was amazing. The buffalo sauce was super tangy with just the right amount of spice -- really balanced and flavorful. I thought the beignets might be a little hard, but they were surprisingly soft and fresh. I do wish they came with a bit more powdered sugar, but overall they were still delicious. The two side dishes were excellent. The mac & cheese was soft, creamy, and packed with cheesy flavor -- you could really see the cheese pull. The pickled vegetables were also amazing -- very sour and bright, which complemented the richness of the main dish perfectly. Overall, I'd give it a 10/10. The price was great too -- about $15, which is a solid deal. The ambiance at Tiana's Palace is beautiful. The seating, the lights -- it really feels like you stepped into the movie. And of course, Disneyland has great cast members. The service was friendly and helpful as always. Would highly recommend this dish and Tiana's for a quick service meal that has pretty reasonable prices. read more

We needed to eat and have been wanting to try this place. It was a huge disappointment for me, almost $55 later. I will never eat here again unless they change their menu. Of course, I did a mobile order so all I had to do was pick it up. Before handing me my food they didn't bother checking if it was accurate and you almost feel rushed when they hand it to you. I ended up taking it back because they gave me greens after requesting coleslaw. She gave me a side of coleslaw when I went back. Now on to the food, the only thing I really enjoyed was the coleslaw. It was refreshing, crisp, and not too sweet. I also like that it wasn't all liquid or soggy. The beignets were dry, hard, and lacked that pillowy goodness beignets are supposed to be. The chicken was slimy and drenched in sauce. It lacked seasoning as well. I don't like when places simply rely on saw to season meat. It needs more than that. The collard greens were over cooked and had a slight burnt taste. The Mac and cheese had decent flavor but was greasy. The gumbo had an odd flavor and the rice was underdone. This was a huge waste of money. More than half the food went in the trash. The ambiance is casual and overlooks the water. It gets really crowded at times and seating can be difficult. Tiana's Place has quickly become one of my favorite quick service restaurants in Disneyland Park. Not only is the theming pretty and on point (they have a bright tent with twinkling lights and even feature a jazz band during certain times of the day), the food is elevated for a theme park. Now with those elevated dishes come higher prices. Two gumbos and a soda will run you close to $40. It's overpriced, but the quality is excellent. This isn't a menu that will appeal to picky eaters or kids (no chicken nuggets here), and the kids meals feature more "unique" versions of popular items. For example, they have macaroni and cheese, but it's baked and cut into squares versus being creamy. Beware if you have picky eaters! My go-to here is the veggie gumbo! It's so tasty and hearty and costs around $17. The gumbo has large chunks of roasted sweet potatoes, beans, and collard greens served with a scoop of buttered white rice. I do wish the portion was larger or that it would come with a piece of cornbread, but it is what it is. My hubby loves the classic gumbo with chicken and sausage. It has a spicy bite, so watch out if you prefer milder flavors. Tiana's also has hot beignets that are extremely popular. That also means the tables are almost always covered in layers of powered sugar, LOL! The restaurant has a Mobile Order window, but note that your food will be served in plastic containers. If you prefer ceramic bowls with real silverware, order in person. It's cafeteria style so sometimes the line can move very slowly, but I think it's worth it to have proper tableware. They also give dining discounts if you have an Annual Pass, so don't forget to show yours to save. I highly recommend Tiana's Place if you're looking for something different than typical theme park food. Don't be boring and nosh on hot dogs and chicken nuggets with fries, put a little spicy gumbo in your life! read more

So the thought of any non chicken nugget/pizza and fries style food at Disney honestly freaks me out (except for bread bowls, those always slap). When my friends suggested Tiana's, I was hesitant, yet intrigued. $17/$18 for a jambalaya bowl is a bit pricey, but it is Disney and the portion of rice was very generous. This dish is not very spicy, but has a tiny kick to it (less than I expected). It has chicken AND sausages, so you can get your non-fried protein game going to keep that energy up in the park. The dish is also kind of pretty looking, especially for a restaurant that is cafeteria style where you grab a tray and they pile generous servings of mush on your plate (I.e. gumbo, which also looked good). They also have cornbread sides which looked pretty good too. My friends suggested Tiana's got the beignets, but they were literally all air. Maybe that's just how they are supposed to be? She seemed to like them, but I don't think they would be worth it since you are basically buying...well...air with a bit of fried sugar on top! Only the second time we've been here. My wife gets the muffuletta salad, which idk how big the large is but we got the smaller one and it was pretty large. I ended up getting the Jambalaya, which was ok. It was pretty close to the house gumbo, but with some creole sauce poured on it. Now I like spicy stuff, but this wasn't the right kind of spice for what it was. I did not finish it, would not order it again. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SHRIMP AND GRITS??! I use to order that at Cafe Orleans until they took it off the menu there. It was on Tiana's the first time around, but somehow it got deleted again. Maybe my tastebuds were off, but the shrimp and grits WAS fire. I sure we'll go back next time we're done there and I'll try something new. read more
We came here on a Sunday for lunch during a trip to Disney. Tiana is one of my favorite characters, and I also love Louisiana style food. The restaurant had quite a bit of seating Outdoors, and it was a nice day out so it was perfect. You order your food inside cafeteria style, and then take your food to any free table you can find. The menu was small, but I liked the options they provided. You could get anything from gumbo to a muffaletta sandwich, and even beignets. I ended up going with the Cajun spiced half chicken. I loved the sauce that came on this, and was going to look into seeing if I could buy it. It also came with a side of baked macaroni and cheese and coleslaw. I didn't care for the macaroni and cheese that much, but it wasn't terrible. The coleslaw was good and refreshing. Other people in our party shared the muffaletta sandwich which was actually a pretty big size and they said that they really enjoyed it. I have never had a muffaletta sandwich so that will probably be something I try on the next trip. I did order them beignets, but I unfortunately assumed they were going to be served warm, and they weren't. They were still very good, but I think they would have been much better fresh. I found out afterwards that you can buy fresh Beignets from another spot that are supposedly better and shaped like Mickey Mouse. Had I known that before I probably would have waited and got those, but it's on my list for next time as well. I would definitely eat here again on another trip. One of the more welcome rebrands. Let me just preface this by saying: as a Southern California native, Disneyland in the 90's was essentially a "Rite of Passage". That said, for the life of me, I really can't remember dining here before the restaurant was rebranded in Sepetmber 2023. Like literally, ever. I remember that there was a side service window for those quintessential mint juleps & mouse ear-shaped beignets (I highly recommend the pumpkin-flavored variants during Fall season). FOOD: Entrée Jambalaya - 8.5 / 10 Considering that I hadn't had breakfast, I knew that I wanted one of the more heartier options. Of the more uniquely themed offerings, it came down to choosing this or the gumbo. Luckily, I convinced my friend to get the latter so that I could get this. I'm glad that I opted for the Jambalaya. On paper, it reads pretty similarly to the gumbo. But to put is simply, the similar ingredients in both are served in a spicy broth. Here the same ingredients take the center stage & you don't feel like you're eating a stew / drinking a soup. I will say, although I have a high tolerance for spice + strong flavors, I not only understand, but I appreciate that the meal development team went rather tame. It's a wide, wide, net of people that you want to try this dish, so it's smart for them not to put anyone off. The chicken + Andouille Sausage provide the necessary heft, both surprisingly tender, yet bold in flavor because they're served in the creole spice. I would definitely get this again. Dessert "70th Anniversary" House Filled Celebration Beignet - 6.2 / 10 I really wanted to like this. Maybe it's my older age, but it's just too sweet. I knew this was going to be the case, so I had my friend get the regular beignet. From the raspberry mousse to the buttercream glaze, I'd recommend spreading the excess sugar onto an order of plain beignets. The fact that the candle was edible (all I could taste was sugar, which I didn't finish) was cool. For a limited-time offering, I'd say just get it once just to try it. Order that side of plain beignets to offset the excess sugar in this one. If you're rather sensitive to higher amount of sweet, then go ahead & steer clear. I really, really like that Tiana's Palace is a fast casual option. Considering the popularity of "The Princess & the Frog", you already know that a restaurant based on the film is going to be uber-popular. Yes, there will be a line & a considerable wait. I was a big fan of the French Market Restaurant at New Orleans Square. It had been there since 1966. When they reimagined the restaurant into Tiana's Bayou Adventure, they took inspiration from the "The Princess and the Frog" movie. I'm not sure how much the menu changed from the French Market considering both places served Southern Creole and Cajun cuisine. But they did a nice job with the remodel. It was designed to represent Tiana's dream restaurant from the movie. Gumbo, Jambalaya, Muffuletta Sandwiches and Shrimp Po'Boys are some of the items that you will catch on the menu here. They also serve beignets or you can grab them next door at the Mint Julep Bar. Let a cast member know if you have a particular food allergy. One fun thing about this place is that a jazz band plays while you are eating on the patio area. This band is called the Jambalaya Jazz Band and they play all over New Orleans Square. read more

Came on a Monday, line for food wasn't long and the staff was friendly and gave us some waters while we were waiting in line to order. It's an assembly line type of food service. We ordered gumbo, chicken, and kids drum stick. Gumbo was good and not overly spicy. Cajun chicken was more a bbq chicken than anything and the skin wasn't on the grilled crisp side more soggy. Kids meal i think was the best bang for your buck if you wanted something small and quick. Comes with a drum stick, rice, mandarin, apple sauce pack, and a boxed drink. The cold brew was good not overly sweet, had a hinted taste of beignets. With cream / milk we didn't need to add sweeteners $60 for everything so not too out rages for 3 meals and two drinks they have an outside patio that's colorful and had an outside band play jazz periodically and even got to see Tiana outside dancing. read more
I tried plant base Gumbo. It was good but the sausages looked delicious. I should try not vegetarian one Jambalaya was tasty. Cornbread was very filling. Cold brew wasn't sweet like other locations one. I like it. The cast member helped to carry the tray. She was very helpful. They had a live music which was very nice! read more
The line for Tiana's Bayou Adventure ride was crazy long but ordering for food at the restaurant was a breeze. We opted for the classic beignet on a plate. Also strawberry beignet. Outside at the mint julio you can order also Mickey shaped beignets. Lots of tables but hard to find spot. Very busy when we came. There was a jazz band playing just like in the movie. read more
We were here on a Tuesday night around 8pm and it was PACKED! Every table was filled and my wife and I walked around looking for an open table. We finally got a table and proceeded to look at the Disney app to order food. The wait was climbing so we decided to walk in and order food. There were two lines one on the right and one on the left. Cafeteria style so you grab and pay. However the line was kinda long and they were refilling so we had to wait a little. I grabbed a jambalaya and a gumbo and also grabbed a beignet which had 2 with honey and powdered sugar. Meal came out to about $50 for everything. The gumbo was BOMB. It was a little spicy but it was great. Sausage, chicken and rice all in a soup. Very delicious and I'd get again. The jambalaya was okay, this was even spicier and was more rice based. It had the same sausage and chicken but it also had a tomato sauce and rice. It was okay but I'd prefer the gumbo. The biegnet was disappointing.. it was super empty inside.. idk how long it was sitting but it was also a little cold. The honey and powdered sugar saved it though. I think they have a similar version around the corner and those are filled. Probably wouldn't get these again. Good spot if you're looking for some good gumbo. It was filling too. We enjoyed that about both meals. read more
