Usually get corn dogs here but today we got the fish and chips which was really good and huge portion! Friendly service and chill quick place to grab a quick bite to eat.

I was craving corn dogs and a funnel cake. I was not happy with the corn dog because the breading kept coming off and it was so oily. I know it was deep fried but it is not worth it. It said home made batter and I didnt enjoy it. The funnel cake was okay. There wasnt a line or wait to get the food. The tables were not wiped down so I had to wipe down the tables and chair.

The funnel cake with strawberries is a huge serving and a favorite. Pair it with a delicious corn dog and a soda for a perfect lunch in Disney. Service was excellent and efficient and found a nearby table to sit outside and enjoy the food while crowd watching.

We mobile ordered the strawberry funnel cake as a snack during a long Disney day. It was really really quickly after ordering and was exactly as described. The whipped cream was nice and cool in contrast to the hot funnel cake and worked well on a warm day. Only suggestion would be to have a little more strawberry topping as it was a little bland after finishing all the strawberry.

I always come to stage door cafe for my favorite corn dogs in Disneyland. We also got the gravy fries and the hot honey chicken tenders. I enjoyed the corn dogs as always with the hot and crunchy batter. The gravy fries were very yummy but it didn't come with enough sauce. We also liked the hot honey tenders but they didn't stand out. Overall I like stagedoor cafe and I'll definitely be back for the corn dogs.

This is a quick service restaurant at Disneyland. They serve all your favorite fried foods: funnel cakes, chicken tenders, french fries, and hand-dipped corn dogs. Hey, they never said it was "The Healthiest Place on Earth" after all! You will find Stage Door Café in Frontierland, right next to another restaurant The Golden Horseshoe. Seating is all outdoors, with several tables and umbrellas in the adjacent patio. It's a little difficult finding a spot, but not impossible. You might have to hover around and wait until someone leaves. They don't really clean surfaces too often, so bring wet wipes. You can also just walk inside The Golden Horseshoe and sit down at an open table. Order inside at the register. If there's a line or you prefer not to wait, open the Disneyland app and mobile order before you arrive. The menu is similar to The Golden Horseshoe, just missing a few items like the ice cream sundaes. I ordered the fish & chips, which came with tartar sauce. It tasted like previously frozen, recently microwaved food. The chips were soggy, but passable. The fish had a gummy texture and the batter could have been crispier. Doesn't compare to Three Broomsticks at Universal Studios or the Yorkshire County Fish Shop at Epcot. Wish they would bring back the mozzarella sticks!

*** Dessert Stop *** Strawberry funnel cake ... need I say more. Look at the photo. Order it using the mobile App. No wait and it comes to you still hot. The strawberries are sweet and the funnel cake is hot and crunchy in all the right places. Love it way better than a plain, boring ole' churro. Plus, it's big enough to share.

This Disney trip, all I was craving was FRIED FOODS. And I knew just where to go. STAGE DOOR!!!! I ended up trying: Corn Dog, Fish and Chips, Chicken Tenders & Fries, and the Mozzarella Sticks & Fries. All the food ended up hitting the spot!! I was surprised by how delicious the Fish and Chips were! Probably the best dish of the bunch. The corn dog was delicious as well which is what you can expect since Disney knows how to do corn dogs! The mozzarella sticks had the most perfect cheese pull and were well seasoned. Usually mozzarella sticks are either too salty or too bland, but these were perfect. The dish that felt slightly short was the chicken tenders. The chicken tenders themselves were on the dry side, although the seasoning was good. The fries were standard! Nothing crazy, but still good. They have an array of sauces so I had a blast dipping all my fried foods in different dipping sauces. Overall, pretty affordable and tasty fried food options can be found at Stage Door!

    Fish and Chips ~ $10.99

Stage Door Cafe is in Frontierland in Disneyland, near the waterfront. The area where you actually order and pick up your food is just a small, old, wooden, saloon-like storefront with no tables. They sell funnel cake, fish and chips, chicken tenders, and plant based chili fries. I ordered the Fish and Chips ($10.99) through the mobile app, picked up, and brought the food across the way to the outdoor tables near River Belle Terrace. I didn't really enjoy the fish and chips. The fish batter was not crispy, but more chewy. The fish inside the batter was just okay, but overall, there was not much flavor. The tarter sauce it came with helped with flavor a little, but was just so so. The fries were a little better than the fish, but not that great also. The fish and chips were very unfulfilling and a bit disappointing. I'll probably order something else at Disneyland next time.

Perfect Midday Snack to recharge and keep going! During the Latin Heritage month, this is a new (and temporary) food item on the menu which is a delight. Pro Tip: smother the whipped cream over the funnel cake before eating. It's freshly made but some parts are drier than others. The spread whip cream will help! The bread does run dry so try to grab a drink with it- I would've gotten a hot coffee to pair with. The bread is beautiful but by itself doesn't have a particular taste. Shoutout to Disney cast members Chandra and Alé for helping me choose this option!

Fried foodie fans welcome... The only requirement my boyfriend had for the day besides watching the fireworks was a Disneyland corn dog and this place delivered. Aside from corn dogs they offer chicken strips and fries, fish and chips and funnel cakes. I'm pretty sure the only non fried items are the goldfish crackers and the cuties included in the kid's meals, lol. It is definitely a popular spot since it's quick counter service plus they have mobile ordering. I can't believe in all my Disney trips over the years this was my first visit to this place. But I will definitely keep them in mind since he said the corn dog was really good and I caught a glimpse of the funnel cakes which looked delicious. Arteries beware!

I saw a tip from a YouTube vlogger that you should go here if you want a funnel cake that's been fancied up, it always varies with the season so you never know what you're going to get from month to month. When we went, the funnel cake was topped with brownies and strawberries. Thumbs up! Filled our craving for funnel cake and dare I say it rivals Knotts Berry Farm's funnel cake?!?! I do dare. I'm a bit envious of pix posted here from others reviews, wish mine had blueberries on it! I also saw some that had cheesecake bits on it with the strawberry and another that was dressed up like an apple pie! But all in all, worthy of seeking out when coming to the happiest place on earth.

The corn dog is soooo good from here! It is also a generous size. The only annoying thing is they upcharge $5 to get fries rather than chips which is crazy. I wish you could sub the chips for fries. Ended up ordering a side of fries to go along with the corn dog. It is all outdoor seating.

Do they still sell chicken tenders? Heard they're gone from all of Disneyland and DCA.

They still sell them. What they stopped selling are the mozzarella sticks.

What other better place to celebrate our friend reunion at a place called "Reunion"? ;)…read more We were looking for a good brunch place to try out and found this place near Corona. Parking: I had no problem finding parking spot as the lot is huge and shared with many other businesses. Interior: We were seated right away without any wait time as we arrived when they just opened. We were seated in a dark area of the restaurant (think bar vibe) so I was a little not sure at first. Most brunch places I went to were always filled with sunlight and bright colorful interiors. This place embraced a classic, quiet feel, something like a Steak House would have. Service: Our server's name was Susan I believe, who was nice and attentive through the whole meal, despite the crowd slowly built up and filled the restaurant. She never failed to check back on us, not just once but twice and refilled our water. She probably isn't as familiar with the brunch menu favorites but seem to know more about the Main menu. The General Manager came out and greeted us because most of their customers are regulars and it's uncommon to have first timers like us visiting. This nice hospitality made us feel very warmly welcomed and impressed. Food: I couldn't decide whether to go with the Slow braised beef on the brunch menu (braised beef benedict) or the main menu but ended up going with the Main menu to get a good portion size. It was a perfect choice because the beef is just amazing. It was cooked to a soft perfection, well seasoned, the roasted vegetable was also cooked just right and not super raw/ crunchy like other places. Then the star of the show arrived - the butter cake. As Susan suggested, this is their most popular dessert and I can see why. The butter cake comes piping hot with the ice cream on top. There's a nice sugar crunchy feel near the bottom of the cake. It's so delicious that I want to come back just to eat this cake. We had a great time overall and would love to come back.

It has this dark but classy aesthetic and I was not prepared for that (in a good way). This restaurant has been here for about 2 years with different ownership and menu so I was excited to see what they had to offer. Hugo helped us with our order and he was very friendly and professional. We went ahead and ordered the ahi tuna taco, pork belly bao, garlic fries, the margharita pizza, the yuzu lobster pasta, and for drinks I got the virgin burning thyme. My friend got that and other drinks as well. Ahi tuna taco - 5/5 probably the best food item for the evening. The tuna was fresh, perfect amount of kick in its sauce, and the outter shell was perfectly crunchy. I think them replacing the shell with wonton was exceptional with the texture. Every bite was extremely satisfying. Pork Belly bao - 4/5 everything was delicious. The bow itself is bouncy and moist. There wasn't anything special about the sauce inside with the pork belly, but I would definitely give it a try at least once. A great portion with your friends or family as an appetizer. Garlic fries - 3/5 It was a bit underwhelming, but nothing horrible. I could not taste the garlic at all, but the fries itself was cooked to perfection with the outer being pretty crispy and inside being soft. Margharita pizza - 4/5 I really like the crust and the breading of this pizza. It was crispy and the pepperoni was cooked to perfection. I really like the small pepperoni because it gives an immense amount of flavor in each bite. The cheese and the tomato sauce was fine, but nothing special. Yuzu lobster pasta - 4/5 I wish I was able to taste more of the Yuzu since that's in the name of the dish, but I could not. If it was just called the lobster pasta I would say it's amazing. The tomatoes were perfect to lighten the entire dish with the heavy sauce and the pasta. The lobster was cooked fine. Other than that it was fine, but I would say either enhance the Yuzu flavor or remove it in the name of the dish. Burning thyme - 4.5/5 I really like the acid and the balance of sweetness and sour in this drink. Usually, I get skeptical when I make an alcoholic drink version because the bartender tends to over sweeten the drink, but this was not the case, and I enjoyed it a lot with our food.

My Delmonico, which is normally super juicy and tender, came out closer to medium instead of medium rare and was also a touch cold. That said, The Ranch is still one of my favorite spots in OC. If the kitchen can consistently match the high standards and execution that the servers provide, this place will easily stay at the top as one of the best steakhouse experiences in Orange County.

The tasting featured a great lineup of green and yellow Chartreuse paired with small bites. It concluded with a complementary Chartreuse-based cocktail from one of five recipes. Brand ambassador Taylor guided the event and began by telling us about the unique history of Chartreuse. The tasting started out with a small spoonful of Vegetal Elixir Chartreuse to warm up the palate. This is the base spirit of both green and yellow Chartreuse and clocks in at 138 proof. It was surprisingly not harsh, but immediately kicked my salivary glands into overdrive. I didn't even know that vintages of Chartreuse was a thing, but Taylor walked us through tasting three different vintages of both yellow and green Chartreuse, and it was surprising how different they were. The lineup concluded with more rare varietals of the green elixir 1605 and yellow cuvee. Great job, thanks Taylor! Chef Kling presented each small bite which included a crispy Icelandic cod, a roasted beet crostino, and a lamb slider. All of them had a five star list of ingredients and were delicious. Strong Water is known for their excellent cocktails, but their food is also great. For my cocktail at the end of the event, I had the Bar Flower (Green Chartreuse, Crème de Cacao, Pineapple, Lime). This was so good, with the herbal and chocolate flavors perfectly balanced. It was served with a flaming lime half. This was such a great event! Chartreuse retails for around $100 a bottle, and the higher-end varieties cost even more. At just $45 per person, this event was an amazing bargain. Strong Water frequently hosts great events, so keep an eye on their social media for upcoming dates. I really love Chartreuse, so I went back a few days later on the last day of Chartreuse week to try a few of the other limited time cocktails. I started out with their twist on a Grasshopper (Chartreuse, Crème de Menthe, Chili Liqueur, Crème de Cacao, Cream, Cane, $22). This was a great classic Grasshopper, but the Chartreuse added a herbal complexity, and there is a dash of heat on the finish from the chili liqueur. Next I had the Flare Gun (Yellow Chartreuse, Overproof Rum, Italian Bitter, Lime, Cane, $20). The yellow Chartreuse definitely comes through, but it's softer and has a light sweetness, unlike the green variety. Even though it contains overproof rum, it is perfectly balanced and not boozy at all. I usually don't like bitter drinks, but the bitterness was at a perfect light level. I finished off with the Tales from the Black Lagoon which is my favorite drink here, and it's also a favorite of many of the bartenders. All three cocktails were a home run. Chartreuse is an expensive spirit, so those drinks cost a little more than average. Shout out to Karen, Joey, Edgar, Jordan, and Ying for excellent hospitality, as always. Strong Water is our favorite place. We can't wait to go back!
