Banyan Beef Skewer and Pork Belly Skewer
    Susan B.

I read and heard good reviews regarding their iced pandan cooler so I wanted to give them a try. Located in Adventureland. I placed a mobile order on the app. Iced pandan cooler: honestly, I thought it was alright. It was too sweet and tasted very artificial. The boba was soft and chewy. For theme park, they are passable for boba drink but it is a drink I will not order again. Banyan beef skewer: it is a snack size. It was lukewarm and super salty. A bit tough. Pork belly Skewer: It was very tiny. Tender and salty. They do have their own seating area but may be limited.

Bengal BBQ was a great spot for dinner at Disneyland! Located inside of adventure land pretty close to the Indiana jones ride this restaurant had some delicious, tender juicy skewers. My bf and I decided to get the two skewer rice platter and got one spicy beef skewer and one regular beef skewer. The platter comes with two skewers (each skewer has about 4 beef cubes), rice and a scoop of Cole slaw salad. My favorites were the spicy skewer and the Iced Pandan ube top cooler drink which comes with brown sugar syrup and boba! And out of the two I definitely recommend getting the drink. It was so creamy and delicious! Probably my favorite thing I got at Disney :)

We spent the day at Disneyland and decided to finally try this barbecue spot I'd been curious about. It was very busy, and seating is quite limited, so on a crowded day it can be hard to find a place to sit. That said, the location is fun--right across from Indiana Jones and Jungle Cruise--which adds to the overall atmosphere. I placed a mobile order, and the food looked and smelled great when we received it. Unfortunately, the taste didn't quite live up to expectations. Most of the meat was cold, tough, and chewy. The pork belly was the most tender option, which makes sense since it's so fatty. The bean salad was watery, and the white rice was gummy. The barbecue sauce was the highlight--very flavorful. The spicy sauce definitely packs a punch, so it's best for those who enjoy heat. While I was really hoping to love this spot, the food quality fell short for us, and it's not something we'd choose again.

Stopped by Bengal Barbecue for some Iced Pandan Cooler with Brown Sugar Spheres and Ube Cold Foam. This specialty drink is delicious and so far my favorite at Disneyland. Vietnamese Iced Coffee with Brown Sugar Spheres and Cold Foam is also good. Great pick me upper and specialty coffee drink while partnered up with some grilled Pork Belly Skewers. So good! The grilled skewers were flavorful and tender. Definitely not over grilled.

Bengal Barbecue is a popular option for quick service meals at Disneyland, and you can find it at Adventureland, across the way from the Indiana Jones Ride. If you have the foresight, book your food in advance using the Disneyland app. I didn't have the foresight because we had other reservations; so, I waited in line for upwards of thirty minutes. After walking 25000 steps through the park, I wanted some meat and I needed some caffeine, and this place has both. For caffeine options, they currently have a thai tea slush and a vietnamese coffee. The thai tea definitely did the job for me. It had "brown sugar spheres", which is how they worded "boba". You know what? I actually liked their thai tea as it reminded me of the cans I can get at Asian grocery stores. The "boba" (aka sugar spheres) had a slightly different chew than what you'd have at asian stores; however, it was fine. As for the meat, I went with their "spicy" Banyan beef skewer, their safari skewer (bacon wrapped asparagus, served with lemon), and their pork belly skewer with hoisin sauce and carrot/daikon. If you want to do what the influencers do, then get their skewer and put it in the garlic bread that you can find at Edelweiss Snacks or Maurice's Treats (both at Fantasyland). I just wanted all of the protein today. And I enjoyed the meat that was flame grilled. Though many people talk about the meat being overcooked, that wasn't my experience. The beef was still nice and pink on the inside. While it wasn't the finest cut of beef, I enjoyed the mildly spicy kick and the decent portion size for the $8 skewer cost (generally pricey, but it's value when you consider a churro is $7 at Disneyland). The pork belly had banh mi vibes as it was layered with carrot and daikon and slathered in hoisin. If I were to eat this with bread, then this would be my choice. The bacon wrapped asparagus had crispy bacon around grilled asparagus and it was perfect with the lemon. My wife rated this closer to three stars as she didn't prefer the sauce-heavy meat and the chewy cut of beef. She ate her pork belly skewer and felt the sauce was pure hoisin from the bottle. Overall, the combo of caffeine and beef was exactly what I was looking for, and it got me ready for the fireworks show that was eventually cancelled due to wind.

Always my rope drop go to after riding Alice in Wonderland. I like how they open early and it's super quiet at that time. I mobile ordered and grabbed a seat. I ordered the bengal plate this time with the chicken skewer. I do miss the veggie skewers tho! My plate was a good snack to start the day. Slaw was good, rice was ok. Service is always friendly,

I actually really enjoyed my meal here! I put in a mobile order and it was ready super quick! The staff was cheerful and friendly when I picked up my order. It's a cute little stand across from Indiana Jones--I've always wanted to try it, but never had until now! The food was piping hot and everything was so fresh and delicious! I got the Bengal Rice Plate with two skewers, rice and citrus-miso slaw. I got a bengal beef skewer and a pork belly skewer. I really enjoyed this meal after a long day at the park!

After waiting in a long line I decided to order different skewers, I opted to try different skewers: Pork n Veggie Skewer: the best of all the skewers, great taste, bbq'd veggies delicious Banyan Beef Skewer: was looking forward to this one, however this was more difficult to eat due to sauciness and large chunk of meat. The meat was tough and harder to chew. I think it would be good if they could cut these into smaller pieces. The spicy sauce was tasty but it could also do without being drenched. Chicken Teriyaki Skewer: Basic and easy to eat Thai Tea Slush: refreshing on a warm day however this was a lot sweeter than I prefer. Slushy Tropical: it looks great but the description was not what I expected from the menu. I already purchased the drink and when the cashier brought his out, I noticed the rim of the cup with heavy Tajin. I love Tajin but my son is not into spicy and this drink was for him. I asked about this and the cashier said the drink wasn't spicy. Ultimately this turned out to be a waste of money as he drank the little that didn't touch the Tajin. I would give 4 stars for pork n veggie skewer only and the design of the space in Adventureland. I would give 2 stars for the fact that the cashier was not helpful in exchanging after my concern for the spiciness. This would be an easy pick me up when hungry and you wanted a snack. I would opt to order ahead of time if there's a busy line.

Bengal Barbecue is a regular stop for us in the park! A nice hearty savory treat in-between sweets! Bengal Barbecue is located across from the Indiana jones & Jungle cruise rides in Adventure Land. There are plenty of tables and chairs inside to sit, relax, & eat. Rather than waiting in line to place our order, we use the Disney mobile app and stroll around the shop while our order is prepared. No reservations required!

This was $50. 1 platter and 5 extra stick. Rice and salad portion was for a child. We were hungry after

So when you're held hostage in Disneyland and you have nowhere else to go, this is actually a good option because most people don't know about Bengal barbecue We were able to find a seat at 6 PM on a Sunday without waiting and that was very lucky for quick service The food itself was above average inside Disneyland. Although I felt the beef and chicken were overcooked and a bit dry, they were smothered and sauce. I liked the bangles sauce. The bayan sauce was spicy and was a surprise for me. I gave that to my husband. I like the asparagus with bacon stick that was cooked to perfection. Everything else was a bit overcooked. I like the seating area right here because it's not too chaotic and it's indoors. You can also get some salad or vegetable stick, and in front of where we were sitting, but we didn't realize it. You can also get some hummus cups, fruit cup, and drinks too. Would I come again in Disneyland? Yes because the other places are an hour wait. We actually went to traders Sam before here and they told us the wait was two hours which is crazy. But Trader's Sam text me after 20min to go back to the restaurant because everybody gave up on waiting

Order ahead or expect to wait in line. Lurk around the tables while someone in your party waits in line so you can get a table. The meat here is good. We got the pork belly because Yelp said to and it was flavorful but fatty. The rice is pretty wet but tastes fresh. The asparagus skewer was yummy (being wrapped in bacon helps) but for $6 they could've given us more. The slaw is yummy but they didn't give us more. Price wise, we would've spent more for 1 person than some meals for 2 people in the Disneyland parks but it tasted better than other places. This place is busy, probably because some social media influencers talk about their limited edition drinks which include pandan and ube and boba! But they don't call it boba. Would be back because sometimes we're in the mood for rice. It offered vegetables.

Bengal BBQ had been on my list of places to give a try. They are known for their meat skewers. I ordered a 2 skewer plate which comes with slaw and white rice. It is about $20 for the plate, and is pretty filling. The chicken skewer is in a sweet and sour type sauce, and the beef skewer comes in spicy and sweet. I ordered the sweeter sauce. The sauces were nice and plentiful. Both skewers were definitely on the overcooked side, to the point where I couldn't eat much of the beef because it was so chewy. Overall I'd come back for the chicken or asparagus skewer because my friends said it was also good.

This is a great choice for food at Disneyland! If you want a more "health conscious" choice but still want some indulgence, this place has options for you! You do have to wait a while for your food, so I would recommend ordering online to pick it up. Bengal Rice Plate (Polynesian Chicken Skewer and Banyan Beef Skewer) - It was a solid meal. Although on the expensive side, I can't complain because it is Disneyland. The skewers were pretty good, but the beef was a little tough. The citrus miso slaw was SO good. The tang went so well with the meat. Grilled Tahitian Ribs - I love beef ribs so I didn't have many complaints! Maybe one thing is that it could have been juicier, but with all the orders they needed to put out, I am pretty satisfied with this dish. The slaw was also pretty good although the skewer plate slaw was better. Overall, I would recommend coming here for a solid meal at Disneyland. If you're getting food, at least find something with protein

Overall I left with mixed feelings, but did enjoy the meal all things considered. Sauced is located in the Cinemark plaza across from Pitfire. Parking directly in front is limited, but there is plenty in the surrounding area. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating, along with bar seating. I'd recommend making a reservation in advance as it can get busy. Service was pretty good overall, our server was friendly and the manager was making the rounds too which was nice. My only critique is that it did take a little bit of time to get service on things when we needed it, but did have things addressed quickly once we'd get our servers attention. On the food front, I got the ribs, brisket, mac & cheese, green beans, baked beans, and slaw. The brisket and ribs both came out very dry unfortunately, but the ribs were flavorful (the provided bbq sauces also helped). The mac & cheese was on the grainy side, but the baked beans and green beans were delicious. The Cole slaw was fine, a bit bland but nothing to write home about. I must admit that the food tasted better when I had ordered takeout a couple years back, which is why I had hoped today's meal would be even better than it was. It's also a pretty pricey meal for how much food you get, so I was hoping the quality of the meat would've been better. I don't think this place is bad by any means, but it does feel like the quality has gone down. I'd certainly be open to visiting again in the future, and hope things are better next time.

All the tables were full and there was one party of 11 just ahead of us. Our wait for a table was like 30 minutes or so. Once we were up we were guided to a table towards the back for five. Our server asked if we been here before and if we wanted anything else besides water to drink. My brother and his fiance split a full order of the beef ribs and side order of sauteed garlic green beans. My mom and step dad split a full order of beef ribs while I ordered a full rack of baby back ribs which came with two side orders. I picked coleslaw and onion rings which I shared with the family. The food came out promptly. Everyone enjoyed their food. The baby back ribs were moist with flavor, smoked and went well with their bbq sauce. The rest of the family really like their beef ribs. And they even commented that it was better than the other bbq places we been to. Definitely will return and highly recommend.

*** SCAM ALERT *** I…read moredon't use the word "SCAM" lightly, but that's what this was. My adult son called in a $281.62 order off the menu for Mother's Day. They would not accept the order or payment over the phone because the order was "too big." They asked that someone go there and pay up front for the entire order. Since it was the evening before Mother's Day, I drove to them and paid for the order. Yes, I was also presented with a minumum 20% TIP screen, which I declined. When I got there at pickup time (4:00pm) on Mother's Day, the price changed to $325.51. I was told that, for some reason, they had cut about 50% larger portions than the menu specified (see the line items, which should have been 1 lb. each), so they charged me for the difference ($325.51 - $281.62) which was $43.89 (about 50% more for the 2 items they cut heavier). No, there was no mention when I placed the order that the total cost might change due to extra meat. Neither is it shown on their web site or printed menus. When I protested, there was no option. If I don't pay the $43.89 difference, I don't get the Mother's Day food. After about 20 minutes of bickering at the counter with two different clerks (note the time stamp differences on the credit card slips), I was given my original order, with a net price reduction of ($281.62 - $254.93) $26.69. My persistence had paid off. On a positive note, the cook did, twice, walk up to me and quietly apologize for what was going on. I know many folks would have folded in this situation, but that's not my nature. I don't stand for dishonesty. Yes, it was embarrassing, other clients in line were not happy (I let them skip ahead of me so as not to inconvenience them). None of them had price increases. I don't know if the clerks wanted a tip because the management doesn't pay them much, or it this goes deeper and is standard operating procedure that assumes most clients will simply approve of the overage and pay up. In any case, from this client's point of view, this is a SCAM! When it was all over, I took my 11 and 12 year old grandsons (who had been sitting patiently waiting for grandpa to pay) and my food package to the car, drove home and proudly presented the meat to my family. After all, I am a hunter-gatherer; and the food was great!
